Wow, so many great things to say about my experience!! I've been wanting to do something with the first tattoo I had ever gotten because it was pretty plain and flat, and I had been shopping around trying to find an artist that could either salvage it or cover it up completely. Not a lot of people I spoke to were very optimistic because it was so dark and blocky, but when I got in touch with Henry he immediately told me that I could come in for a free consultation so he could discuss some of his ideas with me! And he even moved his schedule around too so that I could see him asap! His studio has such an incredibly cozy, laid-back vibe. Like the type of place where you can just go and hang out at. And yes, the hours you're seeing on this page are correct--you really can go there as late as 3am on weekends lol. Just like the studio, Henry himself is also super chill and laid back, and never made me feel pressured for time or overly ambitious/dumb for wanting to turn my flat dark tattoo into something more dainty (unlike other artists I had spoken to.) With how picky I am, I honestly thought we would be mulling over it for hours. But wow, I am amazed with Henry's vision. When he showed me the first thing he came up with, I was immediately like, "YES. THAT LOOKS AMAZING." I loved it so much that even though it was just supposed to be a quick consultation, I was like, "uhh any chance we can get it done right now?" And he was like, "Yeah sure!!!" OMG. I was thrilled lol. And the process itself was a breeze! He's super easy to chat with, he had some great music playing, the entire experience was completely comfortable and painless (so much so that I hella knocked out, like drool and everything, which I've never done before while getting tatted lol), and of course, the end product turned out absolutely STUNNING. I am soooo so thrilled with how well he turned my boring old piece into something so elegant and gorgeous. Everything is perfect--the artistry, shading, the fine lines! I've got another tattoo that I also want to get fixed, and I'll def be going back to Henry!! Not sure where to even start. Henry was excellent from start to finish. I called to ask about getting a memorial piece done for my little guy as we lost him a few weeks back. This was my first tattoo, so I did days worth of research. Henry explained the entire process to include the memorial service he does at the shop before opening the ashes and adding them to the ink. This was huge for my wife and I as our little guy meant the world to us. The Vet gave us his ashes on a Friday, I called Henry that Saturday and my piece was completed on Wednesday. He sat with us and designed the entire thing, gave us various printed sizes to choose from and then treated us like family the entire time. I could not be happier with my piece!
