Once I walked in, the owner was immediately chatting it up with me, as if we're best buds from back in the day. He walked me over to a "barber" who had just come in and was getting himself set up. After hearing the owner speak to the other barber, who already had a client, I knew I was with a different barber than the one I had initially chosen online. Once we started with the service, I already knew I was in for a short and rough shave. The hot towels were great, but that's the only positive. The lather was minimal, the shave was with short, choppy, and dry. I was hoping it would be over quick, but then he pulled out the electric trimmers.... And started cleaning up the lowest part of my neck.... And slicing my neck.... And irritating my neck.... I have never felt stinging like that EVER for a straight razor shave. Unfortunately, the next few days, I had "hesitation marks" on my neck as if I had tried taking my own life without following through. FML! Given they advertise children cuts, I thought they would. Upon entering the store with my son, I was greeted with a very unfriendly 'please go away and take your kid away' from a guy, I believe David. He looked like he walked straight out of a dumpster, very unfresh looking dude. Even though I had an appointment, they made me wait 15min. Only after that time, they told me they don't do children haircuts and asked me to leave. My barber was Isaac, and he was professional and knowledgeable. He perfectly executed the medium taper to skin with the comb over hard line. He even added an nice touch, texturized the top part of my hair that's combed over. Really leveled up the cut. My hair can be tricky at times because of how the blondes intertwined with my other parts of my hair, making shaping and all that difficult for some. If your in town or a local it's a must try. I didn't even have to tell him more than that I needed it cut, since I don't know how to describe this sort of thing. He just looked at my head and said, "I know what to do with it." My wife likes the way he cut my hair both times, and she's far more particular about my hair than I am. Robert has been pleasant to chat with while he cuts my hair. The shop doesn't stink of weird hair chemicals the way most barber shops do. And the prices here are quite reasonable. I genuinely can't leave my apartment without wearing a hat. The haircut is geniunely so bad that I think he might've done it maliciously.
