    I typically dislike shopping at Menards. Most of the Menards stores I've been to are dark and dreary with virtually non-existent customer service. This Menards in the wealthy suburb of Bloomfield Hills shows that location matters! This store by contrast is well organized, bright, spacious, and even has a live piano player! I don't believe I've ever seen that at any hardware store. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with toilet paper too. There were a lot of items that are not available or are low in stock at other Menards. I asked a sales associate where to find an item and she walked me over to the aisle. The cashier was also helpful in explaining how to send in a cash rebate. I felt good about shopping here which is not a feeling I'm used to after visiting Menards. I will be returning to this location when I need to buy appliances and hardware.

    this is one big @$$ store! Two floors of merchandise. Everything a grown-up needs to survive is within these walls. Their prices are slightly lower than Kroger's (I literally compared the prices in the app.), But I came here specifically for a trashcan that will fit under the sink that also has a lid and the only trash cans they had either were too tall or didn't have a lid, but I bought some hand soap and body lotion that should be amazing. I don't think I'll be back here for a while though but I liked it. People were very friendly.

    Very nice mew Menards, typical of the chain. Great selection of home improvement merchandise. This one is huge; has two levels. Excellent value. I'll go to Lowe's for appliances, but everything else brings me here. Checkout experience is a weak spot (can sometimes be painfully slow.

    Went shopping and decided to get a new porch light. Phillip assisted me. I told him what I needed the light to do, Phillip took the time to talk about different models and answered my questions. He also assisted in making sure I got the correct light bulbs.

They delivered the wrong tile to my house when I went to customer service they set up someone to deliver the new tile that person couldn't pick up the old tile so they had to set up another delivery person to come out and pick up the wrong tile but they won't pick it up without a signature and I'll be damned if I'm gonna take a day off from work to wait for them to show up to pick up tile that they delivered on the wrong color in the first place they give you a window of delivery time from 8 o'clock in the morning until 7 o'clock at night give me a break. I told customer service today that if they didn't pick the tile up the next week it was going all in the garbage for pick up on Tuesday he said that's your prerogative! Indeed it is and I will throw it out there belongs to them not to me.

The manager of the service desk was unable to answer my question unless I walked around to the entrance to the service desk. When I did finally reached the front of the line , the service desk employee could not find anyway to help me and needed to asked the manager(same person standing in the isle I had previously asked for assistance) Finally an employee showed up to help make a duplicate key but it so happened to be this same employee that I had encountered earlier when I had asked for assistance locating 2" furnace filters, he must have been having a bad day and was short and angry dealing with me so i gathered they do not sell 2" filters in store. However, during checkout a wonderful young girl wished me a good day. Too bad that couldn't have been from the other two employees I needed to deal with earlier. Then in the parking lot a grumpy young man scowled at me with arms crossed waiting for me to return my shopping cart at the cart corral?! hmmm tough day at Home Depot

    Amazing appliance repair company!…read more They do exactly what they promise. We had a problem with our newly out of warranty Whirlpool stoce: the door hinge was stuck. They gave us a date and 2 hour window for their repair guy to come by, and he called us when he was 30 minutes away. The part needed to be ordered so he gave us the exact amount to get it installed. We only paid for his time and 2 weeks later the stove was fixed. Prompt, accurate and honest, does it get any better?

    The owner (as he announced himeslf to me) made the service call for my stove himself (a couple few…read morelate expected to say the least). He was very nice and respectful when he finally showed up. However, the service was never rendered. It was fine because he said he that he would reach out to someone the could provide the service that was needed (and this didn't materialized either because I never heard from this so-called different repairman.) I can't fault "Americare Appliance Reair" for that (I don't think?) What I can fault is him for allowing me to pay him to simply reverse my dryer door (while he was already at my place.) A task that seemed quite simple to do, it although also seemed to stumped is personal abilities. After awhile he said that he needed to get a different bracket from his shop and that he would be by my place early in the morning to finish the job. He answered one phone call from me in the morning but never showed up to finish reversing the door (while he left all of the parts scattered about.) He would not answer or returned any more calls (not even before I submitted the review.) I sent several (friendly) courteous messages (during this time) but to no avail. I waited numerous weeks before submitting my review of this small business owner (to give him the "benefit of the doubt" to make himself whole.) I finally realized the he didn't know what he was doing when I googled my dryer's model number (and watched the video on YouTube. Everything that he needed to do for the job was actually provided on the dryer. He didn't need to get a different bracket at all. He just didn't he know what he was doing for all intents and purposes. I watched the video and troubleshooted the rest for myself. He really should feel bad and should mail my money back to me? I sure he that understands that is was wrong and that you all dailed into these reviews... good luck to you all.
