I have the AllState extra protection and cannot get an appointment scheduled either through Grand or AllState for someone to repair it or at least look at it. This was bad from the beginning. I walked in knowing the freezer I wanted, and Chris Chappell just had to write up the $1K order. When delivered, they set the door up on the wrong side. I called Chris's direct line (according to his card - and on a day he was working, also according to his card) and left a voicemail message. He never called back. I called customer service. They basically said this was my problem that I would be charged for so they forwarded my call back to the store. (The black hole from which calls are not returned.)

The defrost cycle on my refrigerator malfunctioned and there was no cooling in the freezer or the refrigerator. The serviceman told me a step by step procedure to follow to get the unit back into service. The problem was solved and the refrigerator has worked properly since then. I called at a later date to thank them for the beneficial service provided on a holiday. The help I received was very much appreciated. Few people give that kind of service in the present society. If a problem arises in the future, they will be my first choice for appliance repair service.

If you're okay with some compromises for a good deal, then you might be just fine! I'd avoid sofas; they looked cheap and dilapidated already. Some items were actually broken, but appropriately priced (i.e. hardware broken off of dressers). While I learned quickly that I would never purchase a sectional at American Freight, there were a couple of redeeming qualities. I'd recommend consideration of coffee tables and other hard surface items. This should be a stop for people on a tight budget for sure. Staff were not pushy in the least, yet attentive enough should I have had a question. They were also playing in the parking lot, so be careful when pulling in.

WHAT PET? We have a retriever, she can't un-pull threads that were never sewn in the first place, or get to the bottom of the couch, or in between the pillows on the zippers and whatever the liar said. The lady on the phone was too busy eating her food to actually give me an answer.. couldn't understand her while she was stuffing her face.

I'm very disappointed with the service I have gotten with the individuals answering the phone. They didn't seam to care if you didn't have a working refrigerator. The gentleman that came to look at the refrigerator was awesome All the guys that delivered installed and repaired are awesome. Because they didn't know when a new part would be made they replaced the refrigerate. Now the the compressor died. Felton's maintenance came told whirlpool the problem and determined there was freon leaking Also. Two weeks later an outside contractor for whirlpool came looked at it and said yep compressor is bad. Was going to leave and I told him to check for the leak which he wasn't going to do. I told him I didn't want him to come back to check it another day seeing he wasn't here. He detereined there was a leak and he fixed it. Then told me the compressor is on back order no idea when it will be available. Felton's give me a loaner refrigerator so I have two refrigerators in my kitchen dining area. To top it off the dishwasher I purchased the same day as refrigerator has also died control panel and the motor for discharging water died. The motor got fixed but control panel is on back order. I have two appliances that are under 6months old not working. My frustration is Felton's just say it's not our problem anymore call whirlpool I spent a lot of money on these two appliances and will take time to pay off. Thought they were different then other businesses but I guess I was wrong. Very sad and disappointed.

I am the matriarch of my family and do ALL of the cooking for Thanksgiving. It was a total waste of time and unprofessional behavior on her end. She definitely has much to learn about customer service. My son came over and used channel locks and got the water shut off without any difficulty. The installers told me for $240 they could replace the shut off valve. the store reimbursed me the installation fee and is now recharging me to have it installed but now I am nine days out from when I was supposed to get it installed. They have not compensated me at all. The salesman told me I would get $850 in rebates, and I am not eligible for that amount and rebates , so that was false information also.
