Chocolate and peanut butter froyo with toppings

Would recommend! Decent selection of varied flavors with the option to swirl multiple. Probably about a dozen different flavors total to choose from. Many different candy toppings and sauces and dessert pieces to choose from. Price wasn't too bad with 3 almost filled cups being about $22. The shop was also very cute with lots of tables and outside seating as well, even had a chalk board for kids to draw on. Service was great with a worker constantly checking the toppings and refilling them. Great place to go with family and friends!

I opted for no bells or whistles - it's a thin vanilla cake base, topped with two froyo flavor layers. Yum!

If Willy Wonka retired and moved to Missouri, he'd probably run this Menchie's. You'll find an amazing scroll of toppings available, though I'm personally a minimalist when it comes to piling things on, as I like to be able to appreciate the base flavor(s). My go-to topping is a small scoop of colorful gummy bears. This time, I perched them atop a long pull of a sweet, cool seasonal flavor: white peppermint bark. And now, for the real reason behind this visit...to order my birthday cake. A bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny. It was ready for pick up the next day, as requested, right on time. I'm not typically a fan of cake that gets intimately involved with melted ice cream or froyo. I like my desserts to respect personal space - though there's something immensely appealing about the situation where the cake soaks up juuust enough liquid to become rich and indulgent, without turning into dessert soup. The atmosphere at the shop is joyful, with branding on point, and the local community aspect on full display. Absolutely loved it! A+

Love this place. Healthier alternative that is delightful. Great add in choices for your frozen yogurt. Love the Pomegranate and Pineapple!

Menchie's is like the last of the serve yourself froyo places left. This particular location is fairly new. It was very clean and the topping selection was excellent! I got cake batter frozen yogurt and topped it with: cupcake bites, rainbow sprinkles, nonpareils, blueberry & strawberry popping boba, cheesecake bites, and maraschino cherries. So good! If I have one complaint it is there was no "tart" flavored yogurt! I'll be back!

Great frozen yogurt with a wide variety of toppings. Only downside is that this location is always dirty, sticky and has trash overflowing.

The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating for those dining in. This is one of the only truly authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. I got one each of the asada and pastor tacos, they were fabulous. They come with plenty of onion and cilantro on top, as well as an almost creamy salsa. Zero complaints. I gave the shrimp ceviche a try as well--the flavor was on point, however the avocado had seen better days. The shrimp was still a little gray as well. It was a very generous portion though, for one tostada--definitely not complaining! ;) I'm excited to eat my way through this menu--so, so happy to see more authentic cuisines in the Saint Charles area.

That salsa was so so good but definitely has heat to it so I'm glad I started with a small amount. I love that they are also a shop so you can buy Mexican staples and dried chili peppers and things like that. Looking forward to trying some other things they offer! The staff was really nice too.

The experience was just okay and follow up observations mean this business will no longer receive mine. Upon walking in, there was a couple eating ice cream at a booth, but it was otherwise empty minus the five workers leaning against the back counter waiting. They were all patient as we tried to decide what to get, but none of them came across as friendly. We ordered four bowls of ice cream and a cake for my wife to share with our son. Being that we were traveling, I asked for lids and a worker began handing me lids for ice cream that had not been given to us yet. After an awkward interaction, she took half of the lids while reached over the counter to secure the lid on one of the bowls. As for the ice cream, it was good and creamy. The cake was good too. Is it remarkable? No, but it is good. Here is the bad: - the shop was moved away from the heart of Main St. traffic and on a busy night, the shop showed minimal business. - the ice cream, while good, isn't good enough to take a special trip from the heart of Main St. - the workers, while plentiful and free to take your order, did not appear cheerful or happy to be there. - post-election, the owners shared an immature post assuring anyone who did not vote for Kamala that they were not welcome there (pictures shared because they are relevant). It is a disappointment to see what has become of what was once a landmark on Main St. I didn't vote for hate and all of that, but I can recognize the nonsense of refusing business to anyone who did not vote their way - especially in an area where two new good ice cream shops failed (Crave the Curls and The Baked Bear) over the last few years. If you want good ice cream and you are closer and this doesn't bother you, then it offers good ice cream minus friendly demeanors. If you are closer to anywhere in the heart of Main St., it really isn't worth the walk.

The portions are HUGE. My husband got a scoop in a cup, whereas my toddler had his own scoop in a cone, and I had my own scoop in a dipped cone. We enjoyed though - I know my little one did! The flavor options were not too adventurous, which was good when you just want a really easy flavor. There is seating inside, by the back entrance so we took advantage. Waffle cones to choose like it was 1904. Ice cream cakes for larger get-together. The friendly ladies dipped the internal of my cone to line the cone with chocolate. This added to the chocolate fudge ice cream. I gulped down this cone surprisingly fast and freaked out the 10 year old we were with. Luckily they provided restrooms to clean myself after my gorging. I walked away a fan. I also wondered why nobody put one of these by Forest Park or on Laclede's Landing to tie in 1904 World's Fair. I do enjoy St Charles Main Street and the ability to bring nostalgic places like this. (Ice cream... no "frozen yogurt" or "frozen dairy dessert")
