After some commotion I was told that it too was unavailable. This may be more of a systems issue as I noticed the chocolate flavor initially came out slower than molasses. The toppings were not exactly intuitive in their organization-I didn't notice Reese's cups until I'd already packed my bowl with another candy, since Reese's were not in the section with the other candy. The good news is, the gentleman at the register was incredibly accommodating and apologetic about the selection. My family ONLY comes to Menchie's when we want frozen yogurt. This location is a little out of our way, but it is worth the drive. The price can be expensive, but we only come here on Mondays between 3-7 PM because of their $6.00 "fill up your cup" special. It makes for a fun challenge and the visit more enjoyable. I'm sure the employees all know me by now because my family and I come here often, and I always try to fill my cup EXTRA HIGH because we all just share from one cup. I hope they never take away the promotion. The employees here are ALL extremely nice and friendly. They have NEVER looked at me funny when I try to pile high my froyo, which I truly appreciate. They have many delicious flavors and toppings to choose from as well. My family's favorite topping is the mochi balls; please never take them away!! I also love how they have the sample cups out so you can sample as much as you want. I always disliked having to awkwardly ask for them at other places and then be given only two cups. The place is pretty clean. I know some people have commented that there are crumbs here and there, but I feel like that's inevitable with it being self-serve. We came here with family over the weekend. The concept is nice. You get your own yogurt - choose whichever flavor you want - then mix in toppings yourself. There are many toppings to choose from. Once you get to the register, you put your cup down so it can be weighed. It's mostly DIY here and fun for kids to choose their own yogurt flavors and toppings. We went with a plain strawberry flavor and no toppings since we had just had a big dinner. It was good. There is seating inside and out. You can also purchase some fro-yo to take home. Everything was neat and clean when we came and they had a good amount of traffic going through. It's a nice place for a quick dessert treat. One thing I was surprised about is there were no disposable gloves like what you have to use at buffet places. I would think they would have that available here since everyone is touching the handles repeatedly and it's not wiped down after each customer goes through. Not too big a deal. Pineapple mixed with Pink Lemonade and Tart mixed with Tart Pomegranate was our favorites during our visits. (We came here twice in one week). Their fruit is fresh and sweet, their candy and crushed cookie toppings are also fresh since we did not have any issues with having hard, stale, or ripen toppings to add onto our fro-yo cups. I decided to take my kids and sit outside. The toppings all seem to be fairly fresh, those that were available. There were several that were empty or nearly empty. Nobody likes to get the leftover scraps from someone else's mess, and they should keep these popping stocked. That's half of the fun in going to these frozen yogurt shops. With three little kids getting their own cup, I was hoping to leave here spending around $12 or so. We end up spending around $17 for very small portions each. The price seems a bit steep! I think next time, we might go to H-E-B and grab a half gallon of ice cream of their choosing. Save myself $10. read more

Chairs are contemporary and comfortable (though the tables are not large enough for a group of Menchies lovers). This place is utmost kid-friendly. They have a circular chalkboard that the group this evening we dined with, the kids absolutely were addicted to. The staff were young and friendly. There were only a few flavors, much less variety than I'm used to. Also, the few machines that were on were not working very well. They all had blinking lights saying they were low. Another issue- when we came in there was absolutely no employee in the front of the store. It was completely empty. We filled our yogurt cups and still no one came out. I had to go to the back and call out for someone before an employee finally came out to ring us up. He did apologize, but it just felt very weird and unprofessional. We were pleasantly surprised that our grand total (my cup and my son's cup) was only $5.04, typically we're spending $9+ at Orange Leaf for the same amount of yogurt. Four Stars: It was clean, friendly service, delicious and we were extremely happy with the price. Why not Five? - as I mentioned, I filled my cup with 3 flavors, they were the 3 of 4 flavors that I actually liked. Menchie's is at a convenient location--near Vintage park. However, it isn't my favorite, and pales in comparison with Yogurtland or Orange Leaf, both of which have a wider variety of toppings. The yogurt flavors themselves are alright, but have sometimes tasted a bit off. The toppings are what make or break a place for me. I love just getting classic tart with fruit (yes, I know it's the heaviest topping there is). At Orange leaf and Yogurtland, I can consistently find fresh berries and other fruit.
