Long day driving back from Folsom, CA. I checked Yelp for "frozen yogurt near me" on my phone app and Menchie's in Springfield popped up. We were about an hour out so I set our navigation to that location. Very busy place. Even the outdoor seating was full. Lots of flavors and topping choices like all the other Menchie's. They had an Acai Super Fruit bowl not offered at my Menchie's in Beaverton and I almost got that but the Dark Chocolate Mousse with the Tart yogurt had already called my name. Clean inside and the employees are nice too, considering there were kids running all over. Great selection of flavors but I'm a stubborn creature of habit and usually get the same ol thing. I like what I like! My motto: you can be crabby before you have Menchie's frozen yogurt and you can be crabby after but you'll never be crabby while you're eating Menchie's frozen yogurt! read more

If I could put a half star I would. That is the most disgusting place I have ever been into. It looks like it has not been cleaned in a very long time.it is amazing to me the county has not closed that place down. All the yogurt pans were overflowing with melted yogurt, probably had not been touched for weeks. All the toppings crumbs were all over the counter on the shelf clearly it too has not been touched. I could barely walk around that Store it was so nasty everywhere. It's been dirty in the past but this was beyond acceptable. This place should be forced closed immediately. Clearly Corp. I had my first taste of menchie's a couple days ago and was so impressed I had to come back! As last time, we walk in and are greeted with a smile. Different staff but the store is still clean and very busy. Staff was very enthusiastic and helpful and everything flowed smoothly. Choose your container, serve yourself from one or more flavors of frozen yogurt, pile on your favorite toppings from a wide variety, put it on the scale, grab a spoon, good to go! They also have waffle bowls that are made fresh in house. No small, medium or large, nope. Just take exactly what you want as it is all sold by weight with the exception of the floats. My previous visit I had a float, today I went nuts on seeing just how many different flavors I could pack in one container. I chose three different froyos combined with four different toppings, then grabbed a table and we indulged! It's nice that they are open late as we were out with friends and stopped here after dinner for a fresh casual dessert. There are many different flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from including a large selection of toppings and syrups. I stopped in here a few Months back for the first, and probably the last time. I found the staff was not very helpful, also not very friendly. I also found the place wasn't very clean. I asked for their açaí bowl, they are pre packed. I wish I would have been able to taste before purchasing. Because this was the worst açaí bowl I have ever tasted in my life. Was just fake, or synthetic tasting gross flavoring! Their toppings that you have to choose from were a joke. I would rather go to the other shops in town. read more

I visited this place with my friend tonight after we randomly started craving frozen yogurt. There was only one other person in there when we arrived, but by the time we left a few minutes later it was packed so it seems we came at just the right time. I got a peanut butter and milk chocolate bowl with a bunch of different toppings. It ended up costing about $10, more than I would normally spend but it hit the spot. It tasted pretty good, especially the peanut butter frozen yogurt, and didn't leave me feeling overfull or weighed down like ice cream usually does. The store is small but it flows nicely. There are a couple of tables inside but we chose to eat in the car instead. There's a ton of parking since it's part of a huge shopping center, but it can also be chaotic because of all the traffic. I'm glad we went here for our fix and I think I'll definitely be back the next time I want some frozen yogurt. read more

Everything here is dirty. The walls, the syrup containers, the floor. The cake batter group flavor exploded all over my hand so I stepped into the bathroom to wash my hands. Huge mistake. There was no soap, no hand sanitizer, and the bathroom smelled like someone had died inside it. It's packed so there is zero incentive to clean anything. But it's absolutely filthy. read more

Went in excited to try a new yogurt spot, however I was so disappointed by the customer service. The girl at the front with glasses and pigtails was really disrespectful. She was staring us down since my little sister and I walked in and gave us dirty looks the entire time never spoke to us once except to say the price number of our yogurt which she barely even whispered to us and rolled her eyes. Another customer asked her a question to which she turned her head and ignored them very deliberately. Don't recommend if you care for basic respect. read more

I come here all the time, today the employee Barbara was not nice at all. She rolled her eyes on multiple occasions, seemed super unhappy, and just glared the whole encounter. Menchie's has a great product- refreshing, light and good flavors. We've been here several times and had better service. Sunday it was busy and I'm not sure if the employee was overwhelmed, but it was not clean- the tray that holds the little sample cups had lots of debris, the frozen yogurt dispensers were messy, the topping bins were in disarray. If we hadn't been there before and had good experiences, this experience would turn me off. And honestly I'm not sure 1 employee could manage the people paying and supervising what happened behind her. I hope this was a fluke- I hope the shop gets cleaned up. read more

I was introduced to Menchie's on January 17, 2023, when I went there with my provider, Michelle. I absolutely looooooooooooooooooooooooooove the fact that you can choose what kinds of frozen yogurt and toppings to put into a custom made container, mixing and matching flavors and toppings that you like. My personal favorites are peanut butter, cake batter, and even mud slide! Sure, it can be a bit spendy, as they charge by how much the container weighs, but I will say it's a cool refreshing snack every time! I've come back since then, and I'm sure I'll come back again and again and again. It's amazing their frozen yogurt tastes like it was freshly made! I give Menchie's a solid 5 stars. I had a root beer float which is one of my favorite desserts, however here at Menchie's they don't really have a machine to make root beer floats they make them by hand which is a process that is tedious and slow. Just go to Dairy Queen. read more

Cold, sugar, dairy, candy. . . that's about it. I'm sure some of the flavors are artificial and its not the healthiest thing. However it is neither better or worst than your other froyo places. There aren't a lot of frozen yogurt places here in town but this is one of the biggest competitors. It's a bit smaller than other places, and I'm not a huge fan that the waffle cone is sold by weighing it with the yogurt. However! This place has some amazing flavor choices! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the people are kind. On a hot day this is a great place to come and get refreshed. The prices are comparable to other places as well as the topping. We love the location as most of the other locations are in Eugene and not Springfield. We will definitely be back. read more

Then I tried the honeydew melon flavor. I was in love! That was amazing. So I ended up with some. I decided to not get any of the toppings because I just wasn't into a bunch of candy. My husband had some sort of strawberry and chocolate mixture, with 47 different toppings. The customer service was fine. I had no complaints. It wasn't memorable or anything special, but it wasn't bad either. Dining area seemed fairly clean. Small, but pretty clean. Would I return? Yeah, probably so. Got some treats today with my roommate and I am slightly bothered by our experience. We walk in and it is slightly overcrowded. Too many employees as well as too many customers especially during this pandemic. However, that's not what upset us. Other than one dirty piece of pineapple, our treats were fantastic and we took them home and enjoyed them. I was mainly bothered by the fact that the cashier was too busy arching her posterior for a social media post to pay attention to anything we were asking her for or saying to her. Their stuff is good buuuut what's annoying more than anything is they have this new girl who's AWFUL!!! Every time it's my turn she's like "I'll be right with you!" And either runs in the back or something else... super annoying. I love their stuff and I thought this was one off but today irks literally the 4th time this happens. I never get the little "welcome" she does but the person after got the welcome I don't care but could she kill the stupid attitude?
