When I went today, I got the cake batter frozen yogurt with strawberries, pineapples, cheesecake crumbs, and whipped cream as toppings. They have many flavors and toppings to choose from including syrups and dry toppings. The inside area is always clean. They also have a few low and high tables for you to sit and enjoy your frozen yogurt. This place is perfect for kids and families. The staff is always nice. Sometimes they run out of flavors but this doesn't happen often. Overall, one of my favorite places to go for a sweet treat. read more

Saw Owner / Manager actually " recycling toppings " spilled on the counter top by picking up large pieces individually with his bare fingers and putting them in a little clear dish which he handed to another employee that "promptly stashed them behind the cash register counter " then proceeded to brush small crumbs with a brush and wipe down counter ! What ?? Whatever the $ he thinks he is saving , this is an absolute flicking gross appalling practice that may be acceptable in India , but Clear Oakland County Health Department Violation here ! Saturday eve 5/17/ 25 around 8:15-8:30 and both attendants / employees / or Owners we obviously in in this ...We were getting a sick feeling wondering how many people and employees personally touched individual recycled pieces of our yogurt toppings . Best find ever!!! You get complete freedom in choosing your frozen yogurt flavors and portion sizes as well as the variety of toppings ranging from the syrups to candy to fruit. WHY does Menchies' website mention incredible froyo (like Dark Chocolate Mousse made with Almond Milk, Cookie Sandwich made with Almond Butter, Chocolate Hazelnut made with Cashew Milk, and Mint Chocolate Chip made with Almond Butter and Mixed Berry made with Oat Milk) but fail to have these in a store?! After visiting the Haggerty road location that had no vegan flavors, I called this location. My options: pineapple and pomegranate in machine or I could buy a container of vanilla. First - what toppings are going to taste good on already super sweet fruit froyo? Second - why am I going to buy a container of vanilla when I want to make my treat there? Overall the kids were happy but the inside was pretty dirty. High chairs were unusable because they were so gross. Most tables were covered in sticky and grime. I guess I understand...this place appears to be run by high school kids but come on, teach them to wipe things down when times are slow. I don't normally leave reviews but every time we have visited this location it has been super dirty. Dust and garbage, extremely sticky floors, watered down ice cream. We asked for sampler cups to try a flavor we weren't sure about and frankly because we also wanted to try it before giving it to our young kids and the girl said she would go ask the owner because there were no cups up front by her. She comes back a min later with the owner behind her and says they don't have anymore cups. Then the owner proceeded to whisper to her which was obvious she was lecturing her on not giving out samplers. It was evident that this was a new employee who didn't know. I'm not overly Covid paranoid but I must say this was my first encounter with a food business that I was uncomfortable. The toppings are all out exposed and everyone uses the same spoon to scoop them. I went home after feeling a bit nervous and wish they could come up with something more sanitary in this era. Maybe have everyone wear disposable gloves when scooping. Or have an employee scoop for you? Something needs to be adjusted here. This is the one in Novi. Maybe others are handling it differently. My boyfriend and I love Menchies! We had a phase where we'd come here for a treat at least once a week. The froyo is usually very tasty and the topping selection is perfect (they have mochis!!) 3.5 stars. The place looks nice, the staff were friendly, and the yogurt was fairly tasty. I usually judge a froyo place based on the tart flavor and Menchies is pretty good. Same with their pistachio. Comparing it to places on the west coast like Yogurtland, Menchies is a lot more expensive (~51 cents vs 37 cents /oz) and missing some key toppings like mochi. That being said, I'm guessing there just aren't that many people who put mochi on frozen yogurt out here. Bottom line, when looking for a frozen yogurt fix around the area, it'll do. read more

To be very honest was not a fan of this place. I did have high expectations from word of mouth so maybe I was expecting a lot more but the yogurt flavors just all fell very flat for me. I was not impressed by the 4 flavors I tried so i did not bother even getting any. I was sad but I don't waste calories on tasteless treats. Holy crap... TOPPINGS GALORE! This is a standard self serve froyo place with a good variety. I like the signs that show you the details of each- kosher, vegan, and the calories per serving. They had more plain flavors like vanilla and strawberry, and more complex cinnamon churro and caramel cookie. The seating area is smaller but we went late at night so no issues.
