It would have been nice to be greeted, welcomed, AND to be told that all ordering has to be done through the kiosks. So we just stood there a long time not knowing what to do (we didn't notice the kiosks), and no one gave instructions, nor even acknowledged us being there. When Crumbl cookies arrived, I was all in! Even though they are very sweet and pricey, it was a nice concept. I do have friends that love the cookies and I was purchasing on this day for a friend's birthday. I ordered a day ahead and the order was not ready. Customer service was less than mid, and I saw them tossing the cookies into the box. It caused some cookies to actually crumble! There were a lot of people working, but a line of 5 customers were waiting, no one came to help them. The cookies, well.....overrated!!! Not overly flavorful with any real depth of flavors. Sweet would be the best way to describe. Without good customer service and the cookies being unimpressive and very costly, I don't see returning to, at least, this location. Ever since I've visited the location in Ann Arbor I feel like Crumbl Cookies have been popping up everywhere! I've come to this location in Novi a few times and I've always had a smooth experience. If you've never visited any location, when you walk in you can place your order on one of their screens and one of the staff will call out your name once your order is ready. In addition to cookies they also have ice cream as well. They tend to have 6 different varieties everyday and they change them around frequently. Some of my faves are Key Lime Pie, Milk chocolate chip, classic sugar, Funfetti Milkshake and Golden Oreo + many more! They all taste great and fresh as well. I am excited they opened another Crumbl in metro Detroit. I do really love their cookies and check the web site weekly to see what I need or what I might be missing out on if I do not hurry in! I like this location. It is in an area with ample shopping, so it is not in an obscure spot. This location seems slightly bigger than the other one I frequent. There was a nice (not too long) line of people coming in and out, which is a good sign. I like a nice turn over of product to ensure freshness. I also want the business to have plenty of customers and thrive. They were pleasant and we got our order quickly. Today I tried the banana cream pie. It was refreshing, the pudding was fresh and chilled with huge chunks of bananas. I tried the chocolate cookie with Oreo, it was very close to being an oversized chewy Oreo. The frosting had a nice cream cheese flavor. I had the peanut butter and ruby chip cookies as well, you can't go wrong with those. I also finally sampled their ice cream. We tried the peanut butter brittle and snickerdoodle. I did enjoy the Crumbl ice cream. It was not the absolute best ice cream in the world, but it was quite enjoyable and I will definitely buy more. The ice cream is priced the same as a single cookie. So it basically equals to about a good priced scoop of ice cream. I would recommend trying it at least once. Crumbl is my favorite cookie place, and I was curious to try the Novi location. I live across town but my parents live ten minutes from this location, and I was visiting them today, so I stopped by for curbside. I was surprised they were open today because on Facebook it says their grand opening is tomorrow (Friday, 9/17/21). I placed an order for curbside right before I arrived and only had to wait a few minutes before I had my cookies in hand! (Or, in box...) I ordered two of the blueberry cheesecake, which were delicious; one sherbet, which I also really liked; and a chocolate peanut butter, which was just okay. The other specialty cookie this week is the pumpkin chocolate chip, and I'm not a huge pumpkin fan, which is why I doubled down on the blueberry cheesecake. I hope this location does well, their cookies are always great! For the uninitiated, Crumbl rotates 4 different cookies per week and two mainstays (chocolate chip and sugar). Depending on the cookie flavor, they can be served warm or chilled. This week, they were: - Pumpkin Chocolate Chip - so soft, this pumpkin-spiced flavored cookie tasted like pumpkin bread or muffin - better than I expected - Sherbet - disappointing, because this sugar cookie crumbled easily and there was only a thin layer of lime sherbet frosting (I really like my frosting) - Blueberry Cheesecake - this graham cookie was augmented with the lush cheesecake frosting and yummy blueberry pie-like filling - Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip - the dark chocolate cookie nicely complemented the generous helping of peanut butter chips On opening day, the store was filled with staffers baking and decorating. I mean like almost teeth cracking hard as rocks cookies. The frosting was soft, but the cookies seemed either over backed or old. Novelty cookie options are cool each. This location was the one I visited before Livonia opened. I drove 25 minutes to get there. The best part is the preorder option in the app. You select a 10 minute window and then check-in that you're there. Poor: I got my cookies and they didn't put the sticker all the way on. The 6 pack packaging is cheap and flimsy. The cookies slide out if you accidentally tilt it or don't have a tab at all. My issue: there was a blonde hair in the box and on the tab. They don't wear hair nets. I called the location to take them back and replace them when I got home. No answer. I was not making that trip yo be turned away so I tossed the cookies. I tried the corporate text option no help or even follow up. I don't recommend Novi Crumbl at all. I'd rather make mine own before I go back there because they don't answer the phone and corporate clearly doesn't care about customers with no follow up. read more

It seemed like we were a bother to them the entire time though. Selection is a bit limited (I believe six choices), and it's a bit pricey at $5 per cookie, but they are big cookies each in it's own box. They are quite tasty too. They are making the cookies right in front of you in large vats - four people making cookies. That's a lot of cookies. Otherwise the decor is very simple.
