I haven't had Menchies in years, so I was glad to hear about this location. Kind of bummed they didn't have popping boba topping tho :/ When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a woman behind the counter. She showed us where the cups were and what the seasonal flavors are. Right now they're pumpkin and cookie butter. She took care of the samples. You have to tell her the flavors you want to try and she will fill the sample cups, as opposed to giving you a sample cup to sample as you please. I ended up getting cookie butter and chocolate with mochi, strawberries, cookie dough, and oreo toppings. It was pretty good. For two cups, it was about $15 before tax $17 after. Their flavors are a bit more 'fun' as opposed to classics, and half of them seemed to be fruity sorbets. This Menchies is located in a large plaza, so parking should not be a problem. The inside was the average size of a fro-yo place with several seats and tables for dine-in. It was a bit dim in lighting tho. There's also a freezer in the corner if you want to get a big tub of fro-yo to go. read more

I love coming to this Menchie's because everything is always delicious and the customer service is great. The workers are super nice and helpful and the place is always welcoming. But it was very, very hot inside when I went. I asked the worker if the AC was working and she said she knows it's really hot but there isn't much she can do about it. I honestly felt bad for her because she still had to work in that heat. The frozen yogurt was great like always, I would have preferred to stay in there to enjoy my treat, but the temperature inside made it uncomfortable to stay. With summer coming up, I really think management needs to fix the AC or do something about it, people like to come into fresh spaces to cool off and consume, but also for the employees who have to work there all day. read more

I received a texted coupon from Menchie's that was expiring that same day. So I decided to take my son to take advantage of the discount. When I went to pay I showed him the coupon I had and he said he didn't have any coupons for his location. Apparently the coupon was for the Whittier location. So he didn't honor it, even though that was the only reason I went there because of the coupon. It's little things like that, that help my decision to return or never come back to an establishment. I did once go when the guy everyone posted about was there he was okay I did feel a strong attitude but he wasn't to bad with us. On Sunday we stopped at this Menchie's location in Pico Rivera and were informed of their new policy on samples: one sample per person. I have to warn those that come after us about this restriction because it negatively impacted our visit and is the reason we will no longer return to this location. This new policy may appear to be a minor inconvenience, but the restriction to one sample per person is totally unreasonable at a place like Menchie's where part of their magic comes from mixing and matching their seasonal or limited edition flavors. How am I supposed to know which new flavor I want to load up on if I don't get to try the new ones? Its frustrating this location has declared a war on samples since every other ice cream shop happily provides them. I can literally go anywhere else and get what you wont give me. Dont you realize that? I choose to come to Menchie's because I like you, but you limiting the samples to one tells me that you dont like me. You should care that one sample per person takes away so much from the experience of your shop. If a Menchie's owner does not understand the importance of samples to their customers' Menchie's experience, then he should not be a Menchie's owner. We absolutely will not return to this unhappy location as we'll be desserting at any of the other million ice cream shops that respect how important samples are to the ice cream process. Love it here way more than yogurtland or any other competing frozen yogurt locations. Lot of variety of toppings as well as frozen yogurts. The precautions they take for cleanliness made me feel super comfortable. They have so many varieties of flavors to choose from too! Visited this place. Walked into a an empty store. Owner was in the back. I grabbed a new cup and poured a small drop to taste the new flavor they had. I stuck my finger into my cup to taste the new flavor and the owner told me I couldn't lick my finger because I was going to touch the other handles. He also said if I don't like the rules I can leave. First of all, the owner really think everyone that walks into this empty store wash their hands befor they touch the handles? If he is so anal about his handles, he should offer gloves to his customers. I told him to GFHS and walked out his empty store. Took my business to Yorgutland on Washington where they have more variety and no attitude. I am a multi business owner and even own a restaurant, I would never treat customer that way. What can you say about yogurt? You add the toppings you want. My review has to do with the service. The young lady was helping us and everything was fine, until we tried to redeem a coupon that one of the kids got at school. She asked the older man for help ringing it up, to which the man replied, the coupon is no good because it's over 5 years old. Keep in mind my sons are 8 and 6. My kids haven't been in school long enough to keep the coupon for 5 years. I must of gotten the coupon sometime last year, when one of the kids got an award at school. The man is rude and unprofessional. I looked at the coupon and there was no expiration date. Yogurt is yogurt, I would go there because it's close by, but I'd rather give my business to a place that has manners and respects their customers. Been here a few times, just like any other frozen yogurt place there's your selection of frozen yogurt flavors which all vary. I always go with plain/original tart. Boring i know, but I like to let the toppings do all the work. Then you have your dry toppings (cereal, granola, cookies ect.) Then you chilled toppings(fruit, boba, cheesecake bites). What I noticed about this location is they don't have a wide variety of the cold/chilled toppings compared to different frozen yogurt places. I love boba and they only have one flavor here. Still a bunch of options to create your own frozen yogurt masterpiece. The decor in here is super colorful and very cute, lots of cartoon artwork all over the walls. They even sell little stuffed animals and shirts with the little menchies character. The location is always clean and the employees have always been very nice when we go. read more

I came to this place twice and loved both experiences. They were both around 9:00 PM and the yogurts and sorbets are delicious. Both times I was greeted by the cashier. They offer sample cups so you could try out the flavors before you put it in your main cup. They have a decent variety of flavors. They also have a nice section of topping from nuts, candy, fruits, and syrups. I saw that they were running low on strawberries, so I asked the cashier if they had anymore and she quickly brought some more from the back. It's fairly priced and so yummy. read more

I hadn't used this debit card anywhere in 3 months then once at this menchies location and the next day there was fraud. Don't use debit here.
