Service was friendly and the location is clean and has a photo worthy wall. My husband and I ordered a shrimp tosticeviche and Dubai crepe to share. The tosticeviche was delicious, with a mix of Tostito chips, a touch of mayo, and the ceviche. It's a combo I haven't seen at any of the other Michoacanas we've tried. The Dubai crepe was massive and tasty. We left with our cravings satisfied. I would actually recommend this particular location!

Staff immediately helped me. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or counter; however, the kiosk felt very dated & the prices on the kiosk felt less transparent. I recommend just ordering at the counter. There's no penalty for using card at this donut establishment. As mentioned, I love the Tiramisu Donut ($4.95). It's not too sweet; rather, it all felt balanced. However, this is a VERY messy donut; I recommend eating this donut with a fork and knife. The powder fall everywhere, and your clothes can quickly get stained with chocolate powder. Still, it's a delicious pastry. On ambiance, Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel) is comfortable. This business is more reminiscent of a cafe than a typical donut shop. There's customer internet with password; details on the counter. There's a gender neutral restroom. This thing was decadent... and totally up anyone's alley who has a severe sweet tooth. I typically do not like overly sweet things, but I have to admit, this was very good. The espresso was good and strong, and for me, a single shot was more than enough to get me through my morning. As I was the only customer in the place at the time, service was quick and friendly. Two items for immediate consumption and then some cookies for later. We purchased a dozen of the regular size cookies, including both Ube and Thai Tea. Both of them were excellent, and I felt they were priced appropriately at a dozen for $18. The Thai Tea seriously tasted like you were truly drinking a thai tea. We also shared one large classic chocolate chip cookies (so yummy!) The only thing we didn't understand is that we shared a Ube Tres Leches. I am not sure what was going on. Don't get me wrong, what we ate was very good; however, it was 100% not Tres Leches. It was an Ube Cream with some graham cracker crumble underneath. So, my assumption is that they must have just given us the wrong item. I would love to try the Tres Leches again in the future. Please support his lovely local business. It was a real treat!

He also gave us two free cookies to try the Giddy S'mores and Tula! So nice of him! My favorites had to be the classic capuletti since I'm a choco chip cookie lover and the Giddy S'mores with the extra gooeyness of the marshmallow.
