Who'd have thought that 2014 would mark the year of the Ice Cream Truck coming back to Kyle, Texas? My kids (7 and 10) hadn't really been able to experience the familiar *ding ding* music of an ice cream truck... and we lucked out that Grammy's is the one. She's so fantastic with the kids, and on her Facebook page she'll ask where she should visit... and makes her route up on the fly based on who asks her to come by. And the selection is great. Push-ups, ninja turtles, lemonade ice cream, drumsticks, Choco Tacos... even the old-school "paletas" and raspas that I grew up with in Laredo.
