The staff is always friendly and personable, and the restaurant is usually clean and well-kept, which I really appreciate! My favorite order right now is the "Not So Fried" Chicken Sandwich. Between the toasted ciabatta, Mendo's Krispies, Mustard Pickle Slaw, and herb aioli, it's a divine mix of flavors. A side of the mustard remoulade totally elevates the dipping game! I'm also currently obsessed with their Spicy Curried Couscous! I do wish the "large" size of the Spicy Curried Couscous was a bit bigger since it feels more like a medium to me, but everything else is on point. I'm here for their seasonal Heirloom BLT. I've ordered it 5 times within two weeks. It's a seasonal item so I'm trying to get my fill before it's gone. The bacon is cut up into bits. The tomato slices are hearty. (One time the tomato slice was 1inch thick!) Thick slices of sourdough. That habanero honey sauce really takes the BLT up a notch on flavor. Very satisfying. I usually order order online for post workout dinner at home. Rarely is my order ready by the stated time on the receipt. I think most orders are placed online since the counter is always stacked with takeout bags. Dining room isn't busy (in the late afternoon/early evening.) I got the farmhouse ranch salad with chicken, and it was delicious as usual! I especially enjoyed sitting at the shaded dog friendly patio. Dogs aren't allowed inside the restaurant but are welcome on the patio. Service was very quick and friendly, and restroom was clean too! Will be coming back to try more of their menu. read more

Parking is often a challenge during lunchtime so plan on getting there before the rush or parking over by Sprouts and walking across the entire strip mall parking lot. The food is always fresh and tasty but sometimes it seems to take a rather long time before it is delivered to the table. I've come on several occasions outside of a lunchtime rush and it was more than 20 min to get my food. The server apologized and gave us a complimentary cookie for the wait. It exceeded my expectations with how much flavor and textures from the various ingredients in this salad. Refreshing! I got extra chicken, so it was extra filling. So so good! Looking in yelp and found this sandwich shop. Inside a newer shopping center. Parking is tight but plenty of parking if you don't mind walking around a few buildings. Mendo used to be a cool place with good service and quality food. Regrettably, it's not the same any longer. Service is now poor. Ordered the soup/sandwich combination. It comes with a cup of the soup and I asked for a bowl. Happy to pay for the larger size bowl. Simple. Nope! Not simple. The cashier can't do that. She asked a colleague and again there's no way. I said just mention it to the manager and I"m willing to pay more and no, just not possible. Manager came out later to explain the gaff but too little too late. She explained how this actually happens regularly and customer want to upgrade but that the cashier didn't understand. Silly. Why not either fix the payment issue or train the cashiers a little bit? Anyways, Mendo converted two good customers into non-customers who know that service is down the tubes, all FOR NOTHING. I was happy to pay for the little more soup. Just silly. I've been eyeing this place for awhile. The name just intrigued me. This Mendocino Farms is located in The Square at Bressi Ranch. There are plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant is large! I would call this elevated fast food. The decor is upscale with a modern farm look. They have grass on certain seats. They have a section for kids. They have a Foosball table outside. What a fun place. I came on a Thursday at 430p.m. They were not busy at all. The staff were laughing and playing around. It was fine. Sarah who rung me up was helpful and courteous. I was going to get the soup and sandwich combo but I asked her what was most popular. She recommended the avocado &quinoa superfood ensalada. Funny, I was going to get that at first but then after I was sold! The salad came in a plastic container. I was worried it was small and not enough, I was wrong. The salad was filling. I absolutely loved it. The salad had a smokey bacon flavor but there was no bacon in it. It was so good! I could've eaten more. Had to come here on a California trip! I used to work in the area, and this place was always a favorite. :) Definitely held up to the memories--yum! Had the new Sweet Peach & Goat Cheese Salad and Chicken Pesto Caprese Sandwich (to go), and both were delicious. It's a little pricy, but it's expected for the area. Their Pomegranate Mint Lemonade was so refreshing--a perfect summer treat. The order had to be placed online, so I used my mendo app, ordered and paid. Estimated time prior to my order was 23 minutes. After placing my order at 2:11 it said ready by 2:23. I'm about 20 minutes away, so I headed over. I parked in front no problem (it can be a big problem during certain hours), walked in and grabbed my already waiting order off the online order pick up shelf. Once I got home, I unwrapped everything and it was still warm. I have been craving thanksgiving food for some reason (a little early) so I got the November to remember sandwich (minus the cranberry chutney) and the Thai chili sandwich for a friend.
