Carlsbad location has the NICEST staff, quick wait times, DELICIOUS food, nails the order every time, and overall just a great experience. There aren't too many locations of this chain around but the food is generally good to very good and, I admit, I just forget to go here. A nice BOGO deal brought me in and I'm not mad about it. We tried the Spicy Korean Steak Noodles and it was moderately spicy but had some sweetness, too. The Rigatoni Rosa with Parmesan Chicken definitely needed more seasoning but the parmesan chicken is very good. I could have easily just eaten a huge bowl of that chicken. And the portion we received was huge. We ordered takeout but the interior is pleasant enough. The employees we interacted with were all very friendly. If I lived a little closer, I would visit more often. The food sounds and looks kind of healthy and, even though it's probably not, it's easy enough to deceive myself. read more

Food took a long time to come out, and the Parmesan red sauce pasta was very salty. I hope they can improve the seasoning and wait time.

This team is the absolute best, and this is my go to lunch spot. The people working at this location are the reason I keep coming back over and over. The dining room is clean and the food always tastes fresh. The Penne Rosa with meatballs will always be my favorite. They've updated some menu items and if you download their app- you can earn discounts and access deals. The other thing I really appreciate about this location is they let me build my meal, choose between cheeses and proteins, and olives or veggies, and making my dish spicy. Decided to give this local spot a try since I didn't want to drive far and wanted to bring food back home to eat. It was pretty busy inside but our phone order was ready when we got there . We tried a few different things , I'll list those in the photos but I personally got the duo with chicken and bacon Alfredo and Caesar salad. I wish the noodles had more sauce but other than that I thought the flavor was pretty good . The salad was decent , I wasn't a huge fan of the dressing but that's ok. Haven't been to a Noodles & Company in quite awhile, after they closed the Oceanside locations a few years back. Happened to be near this location so thought I'd stop. Found the restaurant to be nice and bright from all the windows and well maintained. Tables and surrounding areas were clean and tidy. Received a friendly greeting as I arrived at the registers. They currently have a Baked 4-Cheese Chicken Alfredo dish as a "limited time only" menu item and because I'm a fan of Chicken Alfredo I thought I'd give it a try, without the spinach (not a fan!). I also ordered the classic Buttered Noodles, adding grilled chicken to it. I have got to say that Baked Chicken Alfredo was quite tasty. Came in it's own pan that appeared to be some type of aluminum or tin (sorry I don't know my metals), which makes sense since it's baked. Because it's a limited time only item I might have to make a special trip over there in the near future to get another one before it leaves. The other dish, the Butter Noodles with chicken, was a hit as well for my dining partner I've had it before and tried a bit of theirs again today and found it to be just as good as it was in the past. Overall a great experience from beginning to end and it really makes me miss the old location that was closer to me. This location is in a spot I don't travel past often so I'm missing out on my noodle dishes. The unbelievable disrespect that my partner and I experienced tonight made my jaw drop to the floor. I worked in hospitality for 15 years and never thought to do to a guest what this woman did to us. Watch out for the young tan asian woman at the cashier. We came in 20 minutes before close, completely mindful of being out by 10 pm. The woman was making faces to the kitchen staff when she was checking us out and then when we started eating, she turned on her vacuum cleaner just so she could go under our table and blow dust all over our food. i'm not exaggerating- there was dust coming out of the hose all over our table. Her head was UNDER our table cleaning it. She was doing it on purpose. When I asked if she could not do that she started snickering at the kitchen staff. The manager came and he was empathetic but you could just tell he wasn't going to do anything about it. We just moved here from LA too and really thought everyone was nice here. This was such an unusual experience for north coast san diego, so do yourself a favor and don't even come here. I love eating Pastas of every variety and every dish with the Noodles & Company Restaurant. It was in between my lunch and my dinner time. I placed my order on the Door Dash website on my computer at my home this afternoon at 12:30 p. m. My order arrived at the promised time of 2:05 p. m. today from Sue my Dasher delivery driver. My first order was the Penne Rosa these ingredients includes: (marinara sauce with sliced mushrooms, saute spinach, and I also added the grilled chicken meat pieces) to put on top of this Penne Rosa Pasta dish. Also one regular size soft drink is included with this I had selected the regular size soft drink in the Sprite my favorite flavor on this order. The price was $12.25. I also selected one order on the French Baguette which is toasted and served with a pat of butter. The price is $1.25.. Then for my dessert I selected the Snoodle Doodle large size Cookie. it is a Snicker Doodle Cookie with cinnamon and sugar in it. The price is $3.00. My subtotal was $25.36. The delivery fee was zero since I am a Dash Pass Member I was not charged a delivery fee. but the original delivery fee was $3.99. The expanded range fee is $1.49. The service fee is 46 cents but I would have also been charged the service fee of $3.00. The estimated tax is $1.97. The Dasher Tip I had chosen for Sue is $7.50 because Sue will be driving from the Palomar Airport Road location in Carlsbad, CA which is a long drive to my house. it takes approximately 40 minutes one way to commute to my home. I received my order from this Noodles & Company at 2:05 p. m. from Sue my Dasher delivery driver. Sue handed me my order as I have requested on the Door Dash website. Sue was very personable and really friendly to me when she handed my my Noodles & Company Order that arrived in a large brown bag and then she gave me my regular size Sprite Soft Drink. Then after Sue my Dasher driver left my house, I took my order in this brown package and placed half of the Penne Rosa on a plate and heated it up in the microwave oven for 3 minutes to heat up this Italian dish. Then I took this Penne Rosa out of my microwave oven and placed a fork and a knife on the dining room to get ready to eat this Penne Rosa. This Penne Pasta dish was really healthy and very delicious. I love eating this comfort food and the toasted baguette that is served with one slice of the butter. This baguette has a chewy consistency to the bread and is soft on the outside. This baguette paired perfectly with this Penne Rosa Dish. I also received a generous portion of this Penne Rosa. I still have half of portion size left over for me to finish eating tomorrow. Then I was drinking my Sprite Soft Drink with this refreshing Lemon and Lime flavor which wasn't too sweet and tasted just right with this Penne Rosa Pasta Dish. For my dessert, I ate half of the Snoodle Doodle Cookie. This Snicker Doodle Cookie was a HUGE size and I was only able to half of this Snicker Doodle Cookie since it was very large in size. I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. This Snoodle Doodle Cookie was soft and has is sprinkled with cinnamon and a lightly coated with white sugar. This Snicker Doodle Cookie has the correct amount of sugar in it and it wasn't too sweet. This Snicker Doodle Cookie was very yummy. My total cost came up to $36.78. I was very satisfied with everything that I had eaten this afternoon for my dinner meal. I also received excellent customer service from Sue who is my Dasher delivery driver fro the Door Dash Company. I will order again at a later date from this Noodles & Company Restaurant since I enjoyed eating the Penne Roma Pasta very much with the bagette and the Snoodle Doodle Cookie. read more

It's just pasta; not great, not bad, just okay. If you have some cooking skills and materials you can easily make these dishes at home for cheaper. Portions are filling and nothing tasted bad, it just wasn't great. Maybe a good option if you just don't feel like cooking tonight (like me). Penne Rosa with parmesan crusted chicken: This was the most hyped dish I saw online so I tried it, it was okay at best. The mushrooms and spinach were fresh, but not enough of it. The parmesan crusted chicken was the best part of the dish, and was very tasty. There was hardly any sauce in my bowl so I can't speak to what it tastes like. My pasta had the thinnest layer of pink from the sauce on it and the most flavor I got from it was a slight spiciness at best. The penne pasta tasted like typical $1 boxed pasta from the store. If you have some heavy cream, jarred marinara sauce, and spices, you can make this at home. Three cheese tortellini with pesto: This one was tasty but there wasn't enough of it! If you look at the photo, only half of the bowl was full without the added meatballs. The tortellini itself was tasty and the pesto was pretty good too. It's a shame because I'd come back to order the tortellini if I could get a full bowl of it. Long story short, it's fast food pasta, so don't have the highest expectations. Not sure if I'd come back unless it was later at night with few options in the area, or if I'm really craving tortellini. read more

2 stars because the staff were nice and the place was clean...but those are the only kind things I can say. The concept is interesting. Unfortunately the food, or at least the few things I've tried, is all so mediocre that I can't see a reason to bother. Spaghetti was about on par with Olive Garden, maybe a little worse, and not any cheaper. Chicken noodle soup was...fine. Better than canned, I guess, but nothing to write home about. Pad Thai was genuinely bad. Not much flavor, didn't even taste like it had been stir-fried, and there were big chunks of what appeared to be microwaved scrambled egg. I have legitimately had much better Pad Thai out of a frozen box, for half the price. $70 for 3 entrees at a "fast casual" place, modest portions, and none of it was good. Really, just go to Olive Garden and get table service and better food for roughly the same price-or spend a bit more and get delicious food somewhere else. I used to go to Noodles and Co all the time and have the best memories of some of the dishes, so I wanted to go back. The recipes must have changed, because they are bland and dry now. I spoke to a friend who went recently and agreed. The buttered noodles are still great, potstickers are okay, but the mac and cheese, pesto cava, and Japanese udon have gone downhill. I would probably go somewhere else if you have the option, otherwise don't expect too much. It's edible but used to be much better! read more

Fast food noodle franchise with American and Asian options. Familiar, convenient, and fast. This was pretty decent considering there aren't too many noodle options near Legoland and we were staying a block away at Homeward suites by Hilton. Wisconsin Mac and Cheese was pretty good. Pad Thai with chicken was acceptable, just keep in mind this is an American fast food joint, not a Thai restaurant. Japanese noodles with beef was okay. I would not recommend beef as the meat option as it was very chewy. Pan fried dumplings- Good and came with dipping sauce. They offer zucchini noodle substitute and also have a pretty good sriracha hi it sauce. Overall the place is very clean, servers nice, fast, reasonably priced, and our take out order was packed neatly and secure. read more

Noodles & Co provides a healthier dinner option and I opt for take out here when I don't have anything at home to cook! I haven't dined in, but their online pick-up system is pretty flawless. I order from here A LOT and they haven't messed up an order (even with substitutions). Props to the team for double-checking orders and actually being helpful! Once they had some holiday coupon that the online system wouldn't take, so I called and they ended up manually giving me the discount and (a little more off than the poriginal promo code) over the phone. I liked the cauliflower gnocchi with the rosa sauce when it was available. Although they usually have limited choices, their salads like the Med with chicken and the Verazruz salad are large and filling. I am not a fan of their pad thai (dry) or their mac and cheese (not healthy) and too heavy. I will say if you eat there a lot you'll need a break since the flavor profile gets a little blah. I don't know exactly how their reward system works, but I seriosuly always have a reward when I log in. So that is a nice perk that keeps me ordering again. read more

This is by far the worst Mac N Cheese I've ever had. Dry. Under seasoned. I threw most of it away. The reason they are getting 3 stars is the chicken soup is pretty good.
