My daughter loves the Chicken Farro soup. We think the sandwiches are so tasty and fresh. The place is always busy. And it's hard to find parking.
First time trying Mendocino Farms and I was highly satisfied!!! I heard a lot of hype about it, since I love Salads I had to try it!! I ordered the modern Caesar salad without tomatoes and onion. This was a good pick because it was very delicious! The salad was a good size and I added chicken and it was so tasty and healthy. I like how they already have avocados with the salads and the krunchies they put on my salad was so bomb! I was not sure if it was breaded or what but definitely added a touch to the salad. I'm going to come back to order this again and their soup. The employee let me try the lemon chicken farro soup and OMG ingredients were on point! Next time I'll get that and half of a sandwich, which they have so many good selections to choose from. The service was 5/5 for me the cashier and the other guy who was working was phenomenal. I didn't get their names but they were patient and very amicable. They gave good suggestions for my mom and me since it was our first time. Very easy going and no complaints with whatever we needed as we dined in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was perfect! Nice location, located in the Vineyards at Porter ranch. It's Modern inside and pretty clean!!! The decor is very cute as well. I like the turf grass they have on the back of the seatings on the booths![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very reasonable and good quality food! I love how they put fan of the day on the wall by the register. Came in last night to grab pick up. Order was ready and waiting for me when I got there. The parking at this plaza is horrible though, we can never find parking. One person always has to go grab food while the other drives around But food was delicious! I tried a wrap this time and wow Im so sad that was the first time I tried it lol will definitely be back for that!
Came here for lunch today and it was such an easy, breezy experience! Ordering was simple, and we were able to grab seats inside without any trouble. Our food came out pretty quickly too, which is always a win. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is super relaxed you've got the option to sit inside or outside, which I loved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say, it's a bit smaller than I expected on the inside, but it still felt cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now for the food I tried the Peruvian steak and wow it was packed with flavor and had a nice little kick that I was totally into. The chicken pesto Caprese wasn't really my favorite, but the pesto sauce itself was actually really good. My second fave had to be the chimichurri steak and bacon so tasty, and I loved that it came on a sesame roll.
I stopped by here on the way to meet some friends, it was around 330 pm on a Friday when I arrived. It also took a bit longer than expected because they burnt the toast the first time making it and the manager told me he would have them remake it and handed me a drink cup for the inconvenience. **service is extremely slow. Quality of food is good, made to order. Fresh ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside has plenty of seating and an outdoor patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Big parking lot with other restaurants around.
I've had ordered from Mendocino Farms many times, but mostly from its DTLA locations. I ordered the Thai mango salad, and it was delicious! It was my first time trying it the other day, and I'd order again next time. The cashier who served us was extremely kind and welcoming. He even told me and my partner to help ourselves to the juice, as it was hot day outside. That was generous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was generally clean, but some tables still had leftover food and used napkins from previous customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wished they'd clean up tables and floors more often to give better ambience for sit-in customers like myself that day. I'd come back to eat again here next time!

However when I was there I saw a whole bunch of people coming in to eat there. So am not quite sure if my standards were set too high. Service was very slow. Food was mediocre in my honest opinion. Order at the counter, get your number and find a table and then they bring out your food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff was friendly and there was lots of seating both inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One sandwich came out a little bit later than the other but it tasted freshly made so wasn't complaining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is located in a busy shopping center so that's the downside as you may have circle around a few times until a space opens up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
First time customer of Mendocino and honestly. The food was amazing. (Expensive) but unbelievably fresh and delicious but more than the food [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe was down to earth and really clean I liked the entire ambiance of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But unlike most good, clean places this one has 1 feature that most places miss. The cashier (Younger guy) was the most optimistic, happy, genuine person I have met in a long time, it's rare in LA you find somebody who loves what they do. This guy gets it. He made the entire thing for me. Watching him interact with every single customer and greet them and help them find the best option was my favorite part. Bringing it home. 5 out of 5 but because of him. It deserves a 6. Great job

The Thai Mango Salad (no mango for me), is one of my favorite salads, ever. It's beautiful, fresh and the flavors work so well together. It's hearty and the chicken is so good. Service was super friendly and they went out for their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back.
Second time here but today is my last. Woman taking the order barely speaks English. Also drops cookie on counter taking it out of package container. Didn't want to cause a scene. Cookie looks like a Costco package. $3 something for a cookie. Shells small amount couldn't even dig in the palm of my hand it's less than you would give a baby. Food took so long and barely any avocado. Requested no tomatoes yet had some.
After a doctor's appointment in the west Valley, Dear Hubby and I debated about what to eat for dinner. I wasn't that hungry, and he said that he was starving. We went back & forth on what kind of food, and where to go. I suggested Mendocino Farms, as that would be new for us at The Vineyards since our last visit there. I was also in the mood for a tasty sandwich. The exterior of this new location for them is very appealing. The interior, not at much. It's actually very bland / generic inside. It almost looks like they never received the interior decor package from their corporate designer since they opened. By contrast, other locations we've been to, including Westlake Village, and Marina Del Rey, have very visually interesting interiors. That being said, we sat outside on their smallish patio, overlooking a hidden garden area at the corner of Rinaldi Street & Porter Ranch Drive. It's a shared outdoor space that's beyond the formal patio areas of Mendocino Farms and Lure Fish House. It made for a restful place to enjoy our meal. The young lady taking orders was delightful. She assured us that one of the best things about their menu is that you can mix and match, substituting to get just the ingredients that you want, especially on the sandwiches. I had the pickled onions removed and added goat cheese to my turkey / bacon sandwich, and went with toasted sourdough instead of harvest wheat bread. It was delicious! At first, I thought that it seemed small when the order arrived, especially on the metal trays they use to deliver the in-house meals. There aren't any sides or chips included. That makes each sandwich on the expensive side @about $15 for many of the offerings. The quality is so good, though. And it would take some stocking up at home to have all the ingredients that were included in my 'wich. DH likewise enjoyed his sandwich. We shared a side of pesto pasta salad that was very tasty. The total delivered some sticker shock for two sandwiches, one side, and one lemonade - north of $43. It's very easy to have nostalgia for when that might have been about $20 or $25, and not too long ago, either!

Came here for takeout and while the food was delicious, the wait was longer than expected. We ordered the Peruvian steak and the Chimichurri Steak & Bacon, both were really tasty and cooked well. The lady at the front mentioned the pork belly banh mi is coming back soon, and I'm already looking forward to having it again, it's one of my favorites. Really hoping they make it a permanent menu item instead of keeping it limited-time only! Great flavors, just wish the to-go pickup was a bit faster. read more

Haven't been here in a while and usually get the Peruvian steak or the not so fried chicken but wanted to get something different so k tried the farm club. I enjoyed it especially the portion it was a good size sandwich especially considering how their sandwiches have gotten smaller over the years. It was nice having f a good filling sandwich. The couscous was yummy! And so was the kale and apple salad. Refreshing and full of flavor. We sat outside in the patio overlooking Rinaldi at night. It was such a nice relaxing spot. My bf and I come here often for their sandwiches and salad. This has to be our favorite sandwich place of all time. I recommend their Chimichurri Steak and Bacon. It's probably one of my all-time favorites on their menu! I have several friends who also are a big fan of it. I get it all the time and it never disappoints. Another great pick is the Street Corn Chicken Sandwich, it's a seasonal Sandwich but it's so good I wish it was year round! There's different salads to try but we love the Thai Mango Salad, it's better than any other salad I've had at other restaurants. Ambiance is great. It's very clean and well decorated inside, everything is well kept. Even their outdoor patio is just as nice. Their service is a highlight. They go above and beyond. Every staff is so kind, professional, attentive, and fun to talk to. You can tell the team truly cares about the guests here. What a wonderful restaurant! read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the valley. I usually try their seasonal/chef's special and I have not been disappointed. I really enjoyed the Heirloom BLT when they had it, and today I really liked their Spicy Calabrian Turkey Focaccia. Their salads are also very yummy! They have a kids menu with a lot of choices so you know it's not an afterthought. Today they gave us crayons and paper to occupy our toddler--much appreciated! Customer service is wonderful. They have plenty of seatings inside and outdoors. Parking can be tricky on the weekends so I recommend going early! read more

With an incorrect item overlooked by their quality process, if the item was still desired, another delivery would require fees and tip-not in my budget. Not cool; now short a meal for our team meeting. Manager offered a refund of item or I can go pick up, which defeats the purpose of delivery. read more

I LOVE Mendocino Farms! I'm happy this location relatively close by. Their guava lemonade is my all time favorite (delicious!). Today I ordered a farm club sandwich with a side of their spicy couscous salad. The food and service are always consistent and fresh. This location is located in the same shopping center as Nordstrom Rack. The ambiance is great and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. read more
Mendo has always had a good variety of sandwiches and salads. I also really like that they have seasonal specials too. I decided to go with the Summer Heirloom BLT: heirloom tomatoes, Applewood smoked bacon habanero honey, mayo, arugula, and toasted sourdough A real tomato is always packed with flavor. IYKYK such a simple sandwich yet make all your tastebuds happy. The sweetness of the tomato smokiness of the bacon, slight heat from the habanero honey plus buttery, mayo all on some crunchy sourdough bread. They also have a good selection of fresh juices/aguas frescas. Guava lemonade anyone? read more

Mendocino Farms has a really cool, upbeat vibe with a clean and modern feel. It's a great place to grab lunch and hang out without feeling rushed. I have been to Mendocino a few times, this location specifically and have never had a bad experience. The place is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the sandwiches are creative and juicy. Parking can be challenging sometimes but that is not the restaurants fault. This time I ordered the Prosciutto & Chicken and my friend a Peruvian steak which I have had many times. The sandwich was light and flavorful but filling at the same time. You can taste the quality ingredients used to make the meal. The honey roasted almonds adds a sweet/crunchy component to the inside of the sandwich and the pesto cuts through at the end to balance it out. Both are great and if you're contemplating between the two I'd say the Peruvian is more savory and slightly larger whereas the P&C has an extremely light sweetness to it. Overall, love this place and I will continue to return. Keep in mind the portions aren't large but based on the quality of ingredients the price tag is reasonable imo. Definitely come and try it for yourself. read more
This relatively new Mendocino Farms is located in the Vineyards Shopping Center in Porter Ranch. Parking in the lot can be difficult depending on what time you arrive. Fortunately, we visited this restaurant on a Monday evening and parking was plentiful. This is an order at the counter type of restaurant where they bring the food to you. The menu had a decent selection of sandwiches and salads. We ordered the Vegan Banh Mi, a Sweet Peach & Goat Cheese Salad, the Farm Club and sides of the Spicy Curried Couscous. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor area had a foosball table to play free of charge. We chose to sit outside. After choosing our table, we scanned a QR code on the table so that the server would know which table to bring our food to. Our food arrived within about 10 minutes. Everything was nicely plated, sufficiently portioned and tasty. The Spicy Curried Couscous was amazing! The Vegan Banh Mi had a serious kick to it. The salad was delicious. It should be noted that a small side is about 1/4 cup. Our server, James, was full of energy, super friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. There were two gender neutral, individual user restrooms that were generously sized and in good working condition but unfortunately needed some cleaning. I will definitely return! read more
Phenomenal Thai Mango Salad in this spot. This one features so many ingredients that it would cost me $100 in the store to replicate something like that. The main ingredients though, are delicious pulled chicken, ripe mangoes, ramen noodles, cabbage and honey roasted almonds. All of it is tossed in refreshing, delicious thai almond dressing. The salad looks the part and definitely tastes the part. With each bite, you're indulging into sweet, savory, soft and crunchy, while the variety of colors in the salad makes your soul smile. Impressive, delicious and filling salad! The service here is great and the ambience is nice! They have a spacious inside dining area and a very pleasant and chill patio with some tables and a foosball table. Will definitely come back! read more

Finally able to grab a parking spot and come try Mendocino farms! I had had it once or twice at events but nothing beats visiting a restaurant and ordering. Opted for the farm club sandwich, basil pesto shells and pomegranate mint lemonade. Stopped in for late lunch so luckily not too busy, staff was friendly, service was quick, and food ordered to go. Split our order and everything was delicious and so fresh. Loved the lemonade! They had tons of seating inside and outside, along with nice patio in the back with oversized games of connect four, etc. - so a chill space to hang out and grab a bite to eat. I wish it was in a better location since this shopping center if overcrowded with too little parking, but food was great and wouldn't be opposed to driving a bit to find parking to visit Mendocino again. read more

I ordered Mendocino after work using the mobile app and it was easy and convenient! My favorite sandwich is The Farm Club, it comes with turkey, bacon, and avocado. It is delicious! When I arrived, my order was already ready and waiting on the pickup shelves. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the mood for a sandwich or salad! read more
7/5/2025 - Came here for lunch. Ordered a Chef Special - Watermelon "Poke" Salad - that is very fresh and tasty with prepackaged ginger ponzu dressing (5 stars). Mendocino's GREEN (Empty) and GUAVA LEMONADE are the best by comparison with similar drinks at other stores! Although there is a large shared parking lot at The Vineyard at Porter Ranch, often, it is not easy to find an empty parking space near the restaurant. read more
