My Good Buddy knows I love sandwiches and brought to spot he said he's been going to forever! "POCKETS SANDWICH SHOP" in Chatsworth! Not a big place but a clean place! Fantastic service! Loved "The California Roll!" The fries are good here too because they're cooked after you order so you don't get cold fries. There's one nice man taking all the orders and making the sandwiches! He is so nice! God bless him but he does such an amazing job with his sandwich shop I love supporting him! Definitely come check out this hidden gem in Chatsworth! Great quality delicious food!

Every bite tastes intentional, like someone actually cared how your lunch was going to feel, not just how fast it could be served. The bread is fresh, the fillings are generous without being sloppy, and everything is balanced the way only a well-loved recipe ever is. Nothing feels rushed. Nothing feels generic. The owner/cook was so nice! He made sure we had everything we needed!

Its not bad its just MID. They like 4 small tables, no AC working instead they keep the door open. No napkins or utensils are available unless you ask a man behind the counter . I got their famous cheese steak - it was greasy, onion peel was hard to chew. It wasnt bad but I would not return for that. The price and service was great. Maybe other items were worth trying? I dont know

Wow! Mom and pop feel as soon as you walk in. All the customers know the owner. He is a one man show and definitely works very hard! My daughter and I drove 20 miles to try this place. And boy am I happy we did! The sandwiches were fabulous! I got a turkey bacon and she got a tri-tip philly. My turkey was so light and fresh. The bacon perfect and crispy. The philly was grilled to perfection. The wait time was about 12 mins. But completely fresh and made amazingly! As we started eating and chatting with regulars we got the list of sandwiches to try next time. The owner surprised us with a small order of fries to try. OMG DELICIOUS!!! The fries have the most amazing seasoning. They are thin fries with the perfect crisp! The restaurant is smaller but very comfortable. Seats are nice and sturdy! I will absolutely be back very soon!!! Frank is an amazing man! So Gracious and friendly! Come support Frank and his passion for Food!

Went to this place for lunch today and got the Pocket pita wrap and my boyfriend got the tuna sandwich, with a side of fries and a drink. The sandwiches were amazing and huge too. The fries had amazing seasoning and were so crispy. It was pretty reasonably priced and the service was good. The person who took our order also made our food and it was phenomenal. Feels homemade and authentic! It's a quaint little place in the plaza and has a calm environment. Definitely coming back!

OMG! This is a great sandwich place. The owner was very nice guy and he even gave me a free fries when I bought two sandwiches. It was my first time going there and I would definitely go there again to try different sandwiches. Please check this great place out! You won't regret it.

This is a small "mom & pop" sandwich shop in the valley. They offer a variety of sandwiches, but they're known of serving them in pocket bread. The husband and wife couple who run the restaurant are super nice and they treat you like family. The wife will greet you and take your order, and the husband is the master behind the grill. Their food is made to order, and you can watch them make your food as you wait. Their ingredients are always fresh. Once you take your first bite, you can taste all the flavors being fused together and you can feel the heat from the grill. Their indoor dining is somewhat small, but they have a few tables right outside their shop. They will always try to be as accommodating as possible. Like I said, they treat you like family, and as such, they will do what they can within their abilities to make you feel at home.

Well, Well, Well…read more... It appears that my 23&Me ancestry composition has been recently updated and as of today, you are now looking at a 7.1%, Pure, Italian Stallion. Yeah, I too always thought I looked like a young Joe Pesci... Ha! Hey, Fugheddaboudit!!!! Hey, hate me for my ways, but blood is blood and I'm going to run with this Italian thing for as long as I can. And just as my "old Italian Nonna" might have said, had I actually had one... "O mangi la minestra o salti la finestra" But being that I am less than 10% actual Italian blooded, and me not actually having a Nonna who would probably just yell crazy things at me in Italian, I'll just stick to the little Italian that I actually know..... The Food!!!! Yeah give me.... A little meatballs slathered in marinara covered in melted provolone... Or Some thinly sliced prosciutto, mortadella, capicola on some crusty Italian bread... Or even... A square of lasagna with Italian sausage, mozzarella, ricotta, Romano cheese served with a chilled San Pellegrino to wash it all down... And you'd be 100%, not 7.1% correct, that I would enthusiastically rep my Italian heritage and proudly wave the colors of my National flag... The Red, The White & The Bl.... Errr, I mean Green! ;) Yes, I can admittedly get behind Italian food any day of the week and I know my "Nonna" would be proud. Well thankfully, you don't have to go all the way back to the Motherland to visit your Nonna and experience the old world eats of a little place called Italia! Cause Cavaretta's Italian Deli has all your Deli needs and wants covered. Yep, a San Fernando Valley staple since 1959, this spot has been and continues to be the place to grab the Best Italian sandwich (according to the Daily News) this side of the Colosseum (according to me, Lance L.). But the cocoa powder on top of the Tiramisu (aka the cherry on top)... This deli has an Italian Grocery shop with everything you need to make your real or made up Nonna proud back in your kitchen. So, forget about waiting around for your 23&Me results to come back and just get your little pasticcino buns over to Cavaretta's and live like the Italiano's do! Ciao Bella!

It's been really cool to watch them grow while still keeping the same great quality. The coffee is always smooth and rich, and the smell hits you as soon as you walk in. The service is friendly and quick. My go to is an iced half sweet oat latte, it's creamy, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, though sometimes I'll go for the full sweet. The team really cares, and it shows in the relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out a bit. It's been around for decades and has served tons of patrons over the years. Inside is huge with all sorts of tables and booths so it can host many different sized groups from small to large. It's located in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking attached directly in front, which is extremely convenient. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. For this visit, I started off with a cup of the Chili and thought it was actually really good. I am a huge fan of chili and don't often get some that I really love, but this was definitely one of those. Next came the Mini Blintzes and these were pretty nice. I prefer a full Blintz because it has a lot more cheese and filling, but still these were a nice start, especially if are were new to this appetizer. For my entrée, I chose the Pastrami Reuben and thought it was great. It was honestly huge and I even forgot to take a picture of it because I was excited to eat it. I would suggest if you are a fan of Rubens and would suggest this restaurant in general if you like a good deli.

This was my first time here, and I am told it is kind of an institution in this area. It is a pretty non-descript strip shopping center. It can best be described as an old-school diner/deli, full service, and pretty much always bustling. I was surprised that it was almost to capacity by 11:30am, even before the lunch rush. You take a look at the menu, and note that the prices appear to be about 5 dollars higher than places similar in nature; however, you will also soon realize that the portion size and value for that dollar goes a long way, and you will quickly notice that the price paid is really good for what you get. I ordered the Monte Cristo which was deliciously fried egg bread with turkey, ham and a side of jam. It came with potato or macaroni salad; however, I upgraded to fries which were awesome. The service was nice; however, definitely a little rushed. However, that may come with the type of establishment. Either way, the food came out fast -- the food was delicious and I would certainly return again in the future.
