I've always noticed this spot next to Jersey Mike's and finally decided to give it a try. I love supporting small businesses whenever I can. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it truly impressed me both in size and flavor. You can tell it was made with care, everything tasted fresh and cooked to order. The roll was soft and perfectly complemented the filling. I also got a side of fries, which were just as enjoyable. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and had a slight kick that added a nice touch. Wow! Mom and pop feel as soon as you walk in. All the customers know the owner. He is a one man show and definitely works very hard! My daughter and I drove 20 miles to try this place. And boy am I happy we did! The sandwiches were fabulous! I got a turkey bacon and she got a tri-tip philly. My turkey was so light and fresh. The bacon perfect and crispy. The philly was grilled to perfection. The wait time was about 12 mins. But completely fresh and made amazingly! As we started eating and chatting with regulars we got the list of sandwiches to try next time. The owner surprised us with a small order of fries to try. OMG DELICIOUS!!! Went to this place for lunch today and got the Pocket pita wrap and my boyfriend got the tuna sandwich, with a side of fries and a drink. The sandwiches were amazing and huge too. The fries had amazing seasoning and were so crispy. It was pretty reasonably priced and the service was good. The person who took our order also made our food and it was phenomenal. The husband and wife couple who run the restaurant are super nice and they treat you like family. The wife will greet you and take your order, and the husband is the master behind the grill. Their food is made to order, and you can watch them make your food as you wait. Their ingredients are always fresh. Once you take your first bite, you can taste all the flavors being fused together and you can feel the heat from the grill. Their indoor dining is somewhat small, but they have a few tables right outside their shop. They will always try to be as accommodating as possible. So I tried this place out after reading the rave reviews. One thing they didn't get wrong was the service aspect. Wow, the woman at the counter (owner I think) was so incredibly sweet and attentive. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich she asked if I like spicy and proceeded to chop me up a fresh jalapeño. Ambiance wise it was very basic, clean, and easy to find parking in the lot. On to the sandwich. I ordered the ultimate chicken sandwich. Now this is my fault but I thought all the sandwiches came in pita pockets so no points off for that. I got a nice roll with sesame seeds but would def get a pita pocket next time. The sandwich itself is where I lose some stars. It was delicious BUT so many veggies not anywhere near enough chicken. I ended up scooting all my sandwich toppings to one side of the roll and eating it like that. Again, flavor wise it was perfectly salty and melty and the veggies were good just needs more chicken and I'll try a pita pocket instead next time! read more

PROTEIN PLATE- The protein plate comes with grilled steak, chicken, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese with a salad (oil and vinegar dressing). I got the plate with just chicken and veggies, no cheese, add avocado. Nice portion! Nice portion avocado too! I love the combination of chicken breast and veggies grilled ;-p this was a clean and healthy plate of yumminess! The salad was fresh and light with a great amount of avocado (added). I would get this again for sure! ITALIAN SUB- Hubby got the Italian Sub (small) -ham, salami, mortadella...he really enjoyed it! Really good size sandwich! He said it was a perfect amount! FRIES- We also got fries to share (didn't take a pic) that were your typical skinny fries sprinkled with seasoned salt...piping hot! Good! The former was large, stocked with delicious meat and very filling. The latter was plentiful and seasoned well. Very fair price for the amount of food I got.
