This review is LONG overdue (we got married March 4, 2017), but if you are a bride looking for the perfect place to get married, as I was just a year ago, read on. My husband and I paid for our own wedding, which comes with a significant amount of stress, naturally. I had discovered Wedgewood before I was engaged, and had initially been considering their Fallbrook location because we live in La Mesa. After researching, I discovered their Menifee Lakes location had better pricing, so I booked a tour. We fell in love with it! Even my husband, who I had dragged to three different venues (doesn't sound like a lot, but I can be incredibly annoying), was all about it. To cap that off, Amanda was incredibly helpful with all of our questions (and I ask A LOT of questions). She was was extremely accommodating whenever I wanted to switch around the pricing bits to stick to our budget. Flash forward through about eight months of constant email correspondence and can I do this or switch that questions, and our wedding day arrived. I cannot stress to you how impeccably PERFECT our wedding day was. From the moment I set foot on the property everything was taken care of. I walked in with my girls and the cake was already there (Jodie's Bakery was FANTASTIC, and I am a cake snob). Laura, our coordinator (SO WORTH THE EXTRA $$) was already there setting things up and greeted me with a big smile. Our banquet captain (Alex, maybe?) immediately came and introduced himself and let me know if there was anything I needed to just ask and it would happen. Tom the DJ was personable and so much fun (everyone loved the music and we dance dour butts off). We got ready, took pictures, and Amanda and Laura were even there to help arrange my dress right before the doors opened (we got married in front of the fountain) and remind me to breathe. All of our friends and family were impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, and how everything was moved along so no one was waiting for what happens next. Wedgewood Menifee Lakes, where do I start. We were married on 09/12/2015 and it was one of the best experiences we have had. Unfortunately, my husband and I had shopped around and had some issues of customer service not being what it used to be, but with Wedgewood it brought us back to the reality of there still are some good ones out there. We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer during the planning process and anything we needed she was just an email away. She changed anything we needed, made us comfortable,and was very patient as we decided on folds, champagne and food. We also got an incentive to book. We were offered free coordination for rehearsal and day of if we booked by a certain day and boy are we glad we took advantage of that! If we hadn't I think our wedding day would have been very different. We worked with Jemaya for coordination, she was AMAZING. Everything we needed she took care of with a smile. We were allowed to bring everything on rehearsal, so we did (including arranged flowers for centerpieces) she made sure everything would be taken care of. We even complained about the room where the flowers were maybe being too hot and she fixed that as soon as it was mentioned and I felt very confident that she would help our wedding day to run smoothly and it did. Our included DJ service was great! Mark played exactly what we had wanted throughout the entire night. Invitation ordering was easy, and they arrived very quickly. We did California bar service for 1 hour and it was perfect, the bar was still stocked enough for our guests to request things. Our even ran from 6:00p.m -11:00 p.m and it was perfect. Wedgewood is a amazing company. They really have everything down to a science and it was really a very easy process. I'm not sure I could have survived without all there help and my coordinator. I purchased the Emerald package it seemed the best for the money. The open bar, flowers and cake really are worth having included. My family became emotional when they didn't have to pay a bar tab haha. I was concerned about not being able to taste the food but it was amazing and everyone raved about it. We chose the prime rib craving station its a must!! The salmon with bernese sauce and beef tips burgundy. The buffet option has way more choices and the set-up was perfect and there was never a traffic jam or irritating line it felt very natural. Menifee Lakes is a beautiful venue and required little decor. I had endless pinterest boards for this very moment like every girl would but the reality is the venue does the work for you and no one would have noticed the tiny decor details. I did opt for the uplighting and outdoor lighting as our wedding was at night. The flowers large arrangements and turned out perfect and so happy we got to take them home with us. The truth is really couldn't have done it without my coordinator Jennifer she is amazing. She always kept us on track with invitations and music and everything. Once again, we were not let down by our venue. Through the entire planning process the Wedgewood team at the Menifee Lakes location has been incredibly responsive to any and all of our questions. As our wedding date in August was quickly approaching we were moving full steam ahead with our planning and the reassurance from Gina that we would have the day of our dreams despite all of the uncertainty that has come with COVID-19. As we got closer we realized that not everything was coming together as planned and expressed our concerns with Eddie the GM at the Menifee location. The delays that COVID-19 has caused had impacted the arrival of my wedding dress along with all of our wedding party receiving their dresses and tuxedos. We were incredibly impressed with how Eddie handled our concerns especially since these issues had nothing to do with the venue and the services they provide. After some discussion, we were able to agree on a new date and we feel incredibly relieved that now we have time for everything to truly come together as we had hoped. We can't thank this team enough for their level of understanding and customer service and we feel so honored to say we are getting married at this location. BRIDES, LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE PERFECT VENUE! [Update from September 2020] We were completely planning on having our wedding at Wedgewood Menifee Lakes, but due to COVID-19 were unable to. Instead of cancelling our wedding, the Menifee Lakes team has done everything possible to ensure that we have a successful transfer to their neighboring venue, Wedgewood Galway Downs, to give us the wedding we deserve. I CANNOT STRESS HOW AMAZING THE TEAM AT WEDGEWOOD MENIFEE LAKES HAS BEEN. Their customer service and care shows through so clearly! The general manager, Eddie, has been invaluable in our wedding planning experience. We are so thankful! It has been an incredible experience working with the Menifee Lakes team. They were organized, understanding, and great with communicating with us. Great customer service, we were able to leave the venue after our first visit with a completed proposal and available dates. They were very accommodating to my spreadsheet of questions and gave us the time we needed to walk around the venue and decide if it was the right one for us. We recently got married here in April 2017. We are so very pleased to have chosen this site for our wedding. The staff was simply amazing! We only had 3 months to plan and the staff was so overly accommodating and such a pleasure to work with! They answered all our questions very promptly (and I was an annoying client!) and they were always very sweet! The day was perfect and the food was amazing! All our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time and that the food was fantastic! We loved the fact that they have a list of vendors to use. The florist and DJ on the list were amazing as well and we could not be happier! I would totally recommend Wedgewood to anyone looking for an affordable great wedding venue! We just had our wedding November 15, and I am the groom. This place is great and we were lucky enough to use their new ceremony spot. The sales staff is great. Angie, Jennifer, Jemaya, and Darin are great and great to work with. We had some unique request and they were willing to work with us on all of them. And when I say request, I rode a dirt bike into the reception area! No venue would say okay to that, but Wedgewood did! They made sure we were taken care of, any concerns got handled, and kept the whole process in motion. I couldn't have asked for better people to do this and a better place for us to have our wedding! An absolutely unforgettable day on 07/24/15! My new husband and I feel blessed to have shared our special day with over 200 family and friends at Menifee Lakes. Angie & Jennifer were wonderful coordinators, and our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect without their help. They were punctual when responding to e-mails or phone calls, and were very fun overall to work with. The food was delicious, although we would have loved to taste it beforehand, and the venue looked beautiful. Our DJ was very upbeat and helped make the night run smoothly. We also added the photo booth through the Wedgewood vendor list, and we are thrilled with the outcome of some truly funny photos. If we could do it all over again, we would 100% choose Menifee Lakes. The Wedgewood team was amazing! They were very organized and accommodating to our requests. I had some strict vegan guests at my wedding, and Jemaya worked with me to make sure there were some vegan options, which was very important to me. They offered great and honest advice when I was choosing details, and I didn't feel like they were just trying to up sell. The venue was beautiful with a great view of the golf course and lakes. Amanda was our coordinator and I felt she was very organized and kept everything rolling smoothly. Every time I emailed them with a question or request, they had a very quick response. The staff at this location is AMAZING. My wedding was originally scheduled for the end of December 2020... and then we went into another lockdown. They transferred me quickly to Galway Downs, and when there was another lockdown order placed, Eddie was able to talk to a different Wedgewood venue to get me moved there for a later day. Menifee lakes is beautiful, but honestly, their customer service is what sells it for me. Eddie was so patient and awesome, as were the event planners. Eddie really did keep me from having a breakdown during this covid wedding crisis, and I highly recommend that he be promoted within the company. My husband and I got married through wedgewood at Menifee Lakes Country Club on May 4th, 2017. We had an amazing experience with them and I have since told my family and friends that when they get married they should contact them. All of the people we worked with were amazing! Jodees Bakery outdid themselves with our wedding cake. Our flowers were gorgeous through floral sensations. The wedding coordinators eliminated so much stress and everything came out perfect! We had ample time to get ready on property early to take photos before the ceremony! And they even provided me and my girls with champagne while we got ready which was a nice touch I wasn't expecting! read more

I loved my experience with Menifee Lakes for my wedding. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and very responsive. I was able to visit the property when we needed to in order to plan the wedding and everyone made me feel at home. I love that Wedgewood weddings is all inclusive so we didn't have to search for vendors, and the vendors are all amazing as well! I do have to relocate my wedding to another Wedgewood property in order to follow cdc guidelines and have an outdoor wedding, and the staff has been nothing but amazing in this transition so close to the wedding date. Unfortunately due to the pandemic our wedding at Menifee Lakes that was scheduled for 2/27/21 had to be postponed/cancelled. This was an unforeseen situation for everyone. The staff and management at Menifee Lakes has handled this with the utmost professionalism. Eddie was very understanding and sympathetic and has gone beyond to help us select another Wedgewood venue. We had the most amazing party at Menifee Lakes by Wedgewood. We had so much help setting up our event. Our guests all agreed that the food, service and ambiance were excellent. The bartender, David, was great! The included appetizers, dessert table, and flowers were exquisite. The Pretzel Bar was well worth the additional cost. Everyone loved it! Fortunately, we brought in Cavo Entertainment and they kept the party going. Darren really knows how to read the needs of the crowd! We had our wedding reception here March 27, 2015. The setting was great, the room was beautiful and the food was amazing. The staff are so nice, friendly and helpful I didn't have to worry about a thing other than to have fun and enjoy my wedding day. All of our guests enjoyed the party and they are all still raving about the food. I couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our reception and on such short notice.
