Had to get a new suit. They showed me a suit and took measurement. When I the suit back the pants were was too loose and the jacket was tight. The owner said a "good suit should be snug". From the moment my fiance Jessica and I walked into this store, Margarita was our go to person. Not only was she approachable even on weekends, but she was very professional and knowledgeable about suits. For instance, I have 9 groomsmen who got their measurements from various tailors. This became a nightmare because every tailor has different measurement starting points. My tallest groomsmen (6'3") apparently had the shortest arms which made no sense! haha We ended up buying 10 suits for me and my groomsmen and couldn't be happier! All the measurements were near perfect and if everything needed to be changed she made sure to take care of us. Our wedding is in 2.5 weeks and glad all the men in our wedding will look oh so fly! I needed a suit for an event that was happening in 2 days. I was able to go into Men's Suit Outlet and work with Vic (the Tailor) and in about 10 minutes - walked out with a smile. After a nice introduction and some basic questions about the event, he grabbed my measurements and gave me a few options to try on. I also needed suits for work, so the sale for 3 suits was looking very nice to me. After marking my pants and measurements down - we moved onto shirts and ties. Tony helped with options there and after about 10 minutes or so - I had 3 suits ordered up that came with shirts, ties, and socks. Also grabbed 3 belts and 2 pair of shoes for an amazing price. Vic calls me the next morning that my one suit for the event was completed. Very fast turnaround time and I was looking great at the event. Got my remaining 2 suits 2 days later and they look great. These guys know their stuff and I would highly recommend to anyone needing any type of formal clothing for any type of event. I did some due diligence after the fact to compare pricing. After checking 3 or 4 other locations in the LA area, these guys were not only fast, but really did offer the best deal for cost savings without sacrificing the quality of the goods. The only issue I have is the website. It does not always work and does not work well at all on my phone. Small quality of life improvement there would make the online presence a better experience. If Men's Suit Outlet wants a new site - definitely hit me up. :-) I will absolutely be coming back to them for anything I need adjusted and for new purchases. Needed a suit for a meeting to replace my favorite 100% wool suit that was eaten by moths. I brought the coat as I all wanted was a replacement suit similar to it. My wife and I were greeted by Fabio who made us feel at home. While he was working to find what we needed, Ken the owner came out and helped us also. We not only found the perfect suit to replace my favorite suit, but found another quality suit in a different color . I was able to get both suits for the price of the one suit that will now be my favorite suit. Fabio gave me a helpful hint he learned form his wife. To prevent moths from eating your suits, don't use cedar blocks, use dryer sheets in your closet. One at each corner he shared should do the trick. Parking was for one hour so I set my phones stopwatch. From the time we left our car to the time we paid and handed my new suits was a total of 33 minutes. So I came to this place and I want to thank Ken, the guy that provided excellent service. Unfortunately he did not have either the right color or the right size for me, but either way he tried hard to find the right fit for me. After about an 30-40 minutes, the conclusion was that I was not going to buy a suit here, but he was gracious, no hard feeling and did not make me feel like I wasted time. As men, we all like to be well-dressed, especially for those special occasions. Usually, the more you pay means better quality. Surprisingly, I was able to get 3 nice suits, of fairly decent quality, for a little over $600.00, which is a bargain for men's suits. This price included alterations and, presumably as a perk, I was given socks, belts, and a pair of shoes, at no charge. Grant it, these suits aren't comparable to my tailor-made suit, but they're nice. Not only are there nice suits here, but the staff was nice as well. read more

Reviews were right on this place. I came 15 minutes before closing time and found a suit that I liked right before it closed. Armenian owner immediately helped me out in finding me my size and style. The suit he found that best fit me, turned out to be my favorite, and like that was sold and for the price even better. after getting the length and waist size altered it was like $166, not bad. Even made it memorable, because he thought my girlfriend was Mexican (she's Korean), till this day I make fun of her because of it. On a sidenote, when I came to pick up my suit, the store was closed but he saw me outside and he re-opened the store, so I can pick it up! read more

Granted some of this is my fault for being in a rush, and not paying close enough attention, however: 1. One of my stated requirements was: "I want a 100% wool suit." 2. When I asked a second time, "This is 100% wool?" the guy replies, "Yeah, of course." Have them tailor it, fits perfectly, get it home in brighter lights and I say to myself: "Wait a minute..." Look closer, check the tags, 65% polyester, 35% rayon. Damn it! I'm an idiot! I can't return this thing! Thankfully the thing does fit great... was a good price... and looks pretty good... for a polyester suit, but still... I asked for 100% wool. That all said, the owner offered to make the issue right... which was very commendable considering we're talking tailored garments here. Not wanting to pay the marked up prices at a department store where they don't really help you find a suit, I quickly took to the internet to find a local place that had great suits. Lo and behold, Yelp helped! I found this place, went to the website and saw that they were offering a 3 suit deal for $299.99 which was mind blowing considering one suit at (insert any department store here) would cost at least $400.00. My girlfriend and I took a stroll and true to the advertisement, there were walls of suits, all with different color tags on them and plenty of name brands. Each tag referred to a different pricing structure (Green- Least Expensive to Gold - Most Expensive). On that, let me say that each category had a wide selection of very nice suits in varying fits, colors and styles to choose from! Being that I was specific on what I wanted personally, I went to the next step up from the green because it just worked out that way for me. Ken, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable! He was able to take one glance and say that looks great, or try this instead based on the measurements he took on me. It was impressive on how accurate he was on getting a perfect fitting suit. Most importantly, Ken was never pushy or sales-y on the suits like at other places. He gave me the freedom to go about and stood back, giving me his professional opinion when I wasn't sure or reassured me on how this or that was a great choice and why! He totally respected and worked WITH me on finding suits in the price range I wanted and never once tried to up-sell me. Wait...There's more! Once I found the three suits I liked, he then walks over with you to select corresponding shirts, ties and belts to go with the awesome new suits. He works WITH you to find the best combination so you are completely satisfied! In the end, I walked out of there with a bunch of new, form fitting accessories and will be picking up my 3 new, awesome suits next week after he tailors them (which are at very competitive prices if not cheaper than your local laundromat). Went to the store the other night to purchase 3 suits for work. I didn't need anything fancy, just some work suits. I was immediately greeted by Ken, the owner, and he showed me to my sized section. He was able to look at me and find several suits that fit me like a glove. I actually ended up getting 2 suits and a tux with the 299 deal. I tend to go to a lot of awards shows and always wear a fancy suit since I don't want to rent a tux for 50 bucks a night. Now I was able to find a tux for under 100 bucks that fits me perfectly. I was out of there within an hour including measuring for tailoring for 3 suits! Not only is Ken super friendly, but he helps you match up shirt color and tie color/design with your suit to fit today's styles. I've tried other suit outlets(hollywood, Paul Jardin) and nothing compares to the customer service and selection. Cons: Yes, the "free" items are not top quality but they are decent. They have higher end shirts you can purchase but for what you are getting, it's great. I had a GREAT experience when buying a couple of suits last week from the Men's Suit Outlet in Pasadena. Ken, the owner, helped me out personally and made me feel extremely comfortable. The store at first does not look like a high end suit place, but I was surprised to find that they had a good selection. You just need to be specific about the color, cut, and fabric type for your suit. They had really good service from start to finish. I had both of the suits I bought trimmed, hemmed, and customized to fit my body like a glove and it came out really nice. The only thing to remember is that it takes about two weeks to get the tailoring done so if you need to get tailored suits - go two weeks before you need them or buy them here and have them tailored somewhere else. There's a premium to pay form the tailoring here but I was so happy with the service I didn't hesitate and just went with them. It was also good I did because now I know they have a good tailor as well. Both my suits came in looking crisp and the cuts were spots on. If you're looking for good suits at reasonable cost, it may be a good idea to stop by here and check out their selection. You may just end up finding nice gems in their offerings. read more

He said that I should have brought the tuxedo that I had just bought in for a repair, instead of trash talking the quality of his products. But should I really have to come all the way back to get something fixed that shouldn't have needed it to begin with? And is it really trash talking, if it's true? If your policies suck, if you are rude, if your product is flawed (especially when time is a factor), then I will give nothing but my honesty. And all I said was that people should double check before they leave. The salesman was great and the price was agreeable, but this place is truly no better than any of the many places in downtown. We didn't feel any pressure to be up-sold, and Mike and Margarita were wonderful at identifying our needs, price range, and guiding us through the process.
