We walked in looking for a shirt for my 6 foot 5 large husband for a wedding next weekend. Hayden greeted us right away. He walked us to what shirts would work for my husband's size. We forgot to try on his suit from our wedding 5 years ago so we also decided to just get measurements for a rental just in case. Hayden took care of all the measurements for that as well. There currently is a promotion which states "free tie and shirt with suit purchase" Sales person could not locate a single shirt or tie on shelf, in stock or online. I asked about a discount off the purchase or alterations equal to shirt and tie and was told, sorry, no! Asked about a military discount and was told another "sorry" but instead they had the audacity to ask if I wanted to donate to their r veterans charity fund. UPDATE 22 OCT 2024 Looks like the response from Alfred is just for show; I sent an email to the address he provided a few days ago and have heard nothing back. Didn't think this could get any worse but it has, really wish there was a zero star option. JUST NOT RIGHT Wore a shirt once and realized the shoulder seam had been sewn wrong (bunched at seam). Took it back and the manager Vanney first said it just needed to be ironed (as if I am an idiot who doesn't know how to iron a wrinkle). Then when I suggested hanging it up so she could compare it with the other shoulder, she said her tailor was out and would not be back until next Wednesday. So I said ok, just exchange it please. She said she could not as it had been worn. It is clearly a manufacturer defect, so it cannot be resold at full price anyway, so there is no reason to make me wait on the tailor for the refund. I bet when the tailor is back, they will again try to cheat me somehow. Just terrible customer service, which is too bad bc all other MW's have been good to me. read more

I'm not sure why we decided to do this because we have never had a good experience at a Men's Wearhouse, but we hoped this one would be different. Came here to get an outfit for our anniversary pictures about a week ago. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone approached us to help and the help we were given laughable. The associate was very rude constantly making derogatory comments about my husband's weight throughout the whole experience. The sizes that he picked for my husband were way off so we wound up just making a guess and trying them on at home to escape the whole awkward situation. We were told by the same associate that the return policy was 90 days. My husband tried the clothes on at home for just a few minutes. We didn't wind up using them for the pictures and tried to return them but when we got to the return, we were only then told that the return is "up to management" and the "tags being removed was unacceptable." The tags are not mentioned in the store return policy. I have attached a picture of their return policy below. It does state that it cannot show signs of wear but nothing about tags. To be clear the clothing does not have signs of wear beyond some wrinkling on the shirt. The shirt was already wrinkled when we bought it from someone else trying it on. read more

Not a good experience. I dealt with Men's Wearhouse for multiple weddings. They lack in communication. I don't live near a location so communication over the phone is key. I had to make multiple trips up to the store for no reason other than bad communication and employees who apparently don't know how to use their system. They will not know if they can transfer sizes from wedding to wedding. They will also no know if you have already paid. Be prepared to be asked to pay multiple times after you have paid. Also, a $20 late fee for dropping off suits two days after the wedding is ridiculous. read more

As expected with a full-service suit store, you're not likely to find your size right off the rack. You will need tailoring. But if they're so busy that you can't get assistance, you won't need that tailoring... because you're going somewhere else... as I did. Don't be fooled by the returns policy of 90 days. I purchased a suit end of May and picked it up last week. When I tried it on, the jacket was loose. So, I visited the store 6/29/24 at about 3.30pm and have requested for an exchange as they have a policy to return/exchange within 90days. 1) The store manager said, if the tags are off, I cannot return, I said, I am bringing it in as I received it. I have not removed any tags as the tags were not even present when they gave the suite to me, 2) Then the manager said, I cannot return because it was altered. I said, even though I was ok with the pants as-is, the recommendation was made by the agent to shorten the pants by 0.5in in length. So, yes , the pants were altered. 3) Then I said, can I exchange the jacket which was not altered and was very loose on me? She said the jacket was also altered. It was surprising to me because, I have not even asked for it to be altered and we never had any conversation for it to be altered. I do not see any alteration on it as well. The agent recommended the pants to be altered and, in the process, they also altered the jacket which I have never asked. It makes me believe; they make changes in order not to accept any returns/exchanges. The manager was not even willing to listen to the complaint when I said that I have not asked for any changes to the jacket. The manager was so rude, and it was a disappointing experience. She gave every reason for not returning/not exchanging the purchase. I have been to the store many times for my family and friends. But, I now I have to find an alternate store. read more

update: After a week my first review has been deleted for no reso. when I have literally proof of receipts. Let me start by saying I would put half a star if I could. We rented 7 Sites from men's Wearhouse for our wedding on May 20th. We showed up at the Allen location after receiving the notification on May 15th that ALL suites were available for pick up, but when we showed up to the store only 2 out of 7 were in the store for pick up. My dads suite came back first, the pants were 6 inches short they didn't even had enough fabric to let out to cover the shortness so they ordered new pants. The only problem is they never changed the measurements in the computer causing the new pants to come back the SAME SIZE. Next my husband's suit came in the pants were short by 2 inches and they sent the wrong shoes causing us to wait for them to order the new shoe size. Then my nephews arrived with his pants being 3 inches short. We then got notice on May 18th the rest had actually arrived in the store for pick up. 3 of the groomsmen suites came back fitting correctly. The last groomsmen (best man) came back with the pants being 4 inches to big as well as the wrong colored tie and pocket square. When this was brought to the associates attention he laughed about it then attempted to try to find the correct colored tie and pocket square. After being told they did not have the correct tie in the store we were told we could pick one off the store self to take since it was to late to order to get it back in time for the wedding. The manager proceeded to come up and tell us there was nothing remotely close to the tie we needed to come with him to look to see if there were any others we would like to choose. We were trying to match the color rose gold when looking at the ties he showed us to pick from we had the options to choose from a candy cane type, snake skin, maroon, or purple, we proceeded to tell him absolutely not just keep what he has and he will have to match the groomsmen. The manager then proceeded to make excuses and blame Maryland men's wearhouse for the mix up, after I explained to him it was his store that put in the information not Maryland the groomsmen just showed up and got measured, had nothing to do with they type, color, or style being order as they was all set up in Allen. He then proceeded to argue with us about the situation, we then explained it does not matter just fix his pants so we can go. We then waited 45 minutes for the pants to be fixed then we were able to leave. I will NEVER use men's wearhouse again for an event, do not recommend save your money. The associates seemed to not fully understand how to make a group reservation. Even after careful deliberation of what I needed for my wedding party I still found mistakes in the group reservation. The reservation was supposed to have 8 total people with all the same suits and somehow one of reservations had a completely wrong suit order. I had to wait on hold for over 20 mins to get this simple reservation fixed. This may sound trivial but if I didn't clearly inspect this receipt after I got home and it went without notice until we picked our suits up 2 days before the wedding it would have been very bad. The manager here was terrible and no help at all. He was rude to me and all over the place. The suit he "fit" my brother in law in was absolutely horrific and I thought it was a joke at first. If it weren't for Joshua being nice, I'd debate dropping this another star. Thankfully, him and the guy who greeted me initially were pretty kind and helpful. I've heard that working for this place is bad, so props to them for still being professional. First off, after looking at the Yelp pages of all of the Men's Wearhouses in the Dallas area, I can see that a lot of the 5-star reviews are written by (probably) fake profiles. They've written one review, and it's for Men's Wearhouse. Really? Someone was so impressed by an overpriced men's clothing store that they wrote their first and only review on it? Doubtful. This gets even more doubtful when you see that the reviewers who seem real (meaning they've written double digit reviews or are otherwise not leaving vague 5-star reviews) are leaving 1-star reviews. So the price. It's pricey, but that's the cost of quality right? Well, they do have some regular brands like Ralph Lauren. But there are Men's Wearhouse specific brands as well, which are inflated in price for really no reason. These brands are expensive just because. It's not like it's high quality brands that they are selling; these random brands most likely have some kind of deal with MW and so the price is jacked up. That being said, the known brands are your best bet on assured quality. After reading through a lot of reviews, it seems the major complaints are the tux rentals and the bad tailoring. Thankfully, all I did was buy a few dress shirts and a tie, so I didn't have to go through that seemingly miserable experience. Be well aware that the target market of this place is for older men. Definitely not for someone in their 20s. If I hadn't gotten a gift card, I definitely would not have come here. Overall it's expensive, and they lure people in using their commercials and seemingly amazing sales. If you want to be further turned away from this place, read through the many 1-star reviews about how they messed up tailoring and would not accept it as their fault. The main problem was that their ties did not have an extra long option. The ties were 64" long. I usually get 66" to 67" ties. I want to start out by saying I have never written a review on anything for anyone, but this really stood out to me and I thought they deserved the credit. Sometimes in business mistakes are made, and that is just part of it. To me, it is all about how to react and handle that situation. I personally could not be happier with how this store handled theirs, especially Austin (who easily is one of the most personable salesmen I have ever met). I came into the store about a month or so ago to get a sports coat for a wedding that I was in. Long story short I had to get it sent off to be tailored through Men's Warehouse. I received a phone call one night around the time my jacket was supposed to be in and they told me that FedEx had lost the package. Admittedly I was pretty upset. However, the man on the phone told me they were going to immediately order me another one and it should be there within the next two days. So after going through the whole process of getting tailored, I come in to pick it up the next day. Austin and another man, who I am assuming is the manager of some sorts but am not certain, met me at the door and were very apologetic about this whole experience that I have had to go through and really making a point to make me feel special and taken care of. That went a long way for me personally. Then they proceeded to refund me the money for the tailoring. I never expected them to do that and never would have asked for that, but they took the initiative and resolved this issue where I not only got my jacket on time, but also left on a very good note. This does not happen a lot in today's world. I have been a customer at this store for over 10 years now, and can guarantee you another 20 now for sure. P.S. The 1st trip out of 5 went like this: "I'm here to get a suit" the sales person I was working with jumped up took my measurements and was excited to help, next I told him it was for a wedding and he had to look up the color and style, at this point still very helpful, as SOON as he saw that the suit was already paid for, complete change in attitude scribbled my measurements then told me I had to call and give the other store my measurements. Trip 2 Came it to try on the suit and get it pinned to be tailored , Don the store manager greeted us, got my suit and put me in a dressing room. Then disappeared, left me standing there for 20-30 in a suit that was way to big. Very obvious that the first guy messed up with the measurements. Changed into my clothes and was getting ready to leave bc we weren't going to stand around anymore waiting to find Don. Then he appeared, I just told him we would come back another day. I mentioned a shirt was suppose to be included with the suit and he went into DICK mode. Needless to say I was right and he was way out of line but once he looked it up in the computer the shirt was added. But wasn't not happy about it. Trip 3 Came in to try the suit on the get tailored. Again. Working with Derrick, now this man knows how customer service should be. Great experience working with him. BUT the suit was 3 sizes too big. The tailor was yelling from the back room NO NO NO. I agreed. Derrick worked to get the right fit for me and called into another store to have it shipped. This guy was great. Trip 4 Trying on the new suit once again to get it tailored this was an uneventful trip they were dead inside the young man helping me was good no complaints here. Trip 5 Time to try on the suit after it was tailored, Some curly haired women, must of got her training from Don cause she was about as unpleasant as they come. This entire process took over a month. Good thing I didn't need anything in a rush. Needless to say, In my future wedding planning my groomsmen will not be coming to MW. read more

In the rare cases that I complain I feel bad afterwards, so I do it sparingly. This place earned a comment in my book. So much that this is the first time I have made a public "review." And this is only because the service was so bad, the company ignored my email, and I assume they deleted my small negative comment on Google review ? I noticed that the two five star reviews are still there. I took my oldest son to rent a tux for junior prom .. At this point I was impressed with the service... There was a line of people waiting and a sign up sheet... It didn't take long and it was our turn... By this time he had already picked out his tux but the salesman took us straight to the most expensive one and explained the benefits. Naturally my son and his girlfriend like the most expensive one more lol. The salesman was mentioning how it is more custom fit than the others and we moved on to trying on and measuring. I have an EXTREMELY busy schedule so I figured there is less chance of problems with the best one so go ahead. So they measure him up, tell me when it will be ready, I pay and all is well. Now at this point I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt that they know what they are doing. So I swing by and grab it after work Friday night right before they close. Saturday morning while I'm at work my son is panicked that there are missing buttons. So I stop working and call. The guy on the phone says you didn't get it fitted so there is no guarantee. I tell him that I thought that was what all that measuring was when we ordered it and was giving them more credit than they obviously deserve. I was also curious what buttons had to do with fitting, it fit just fine, he didn't grow that much in a week. I was just upset that the BEST they have is like that, then the guy on the phone treats me like it's my fault. A simple ," I'm sorry that happened," probably would have cooled my jets. So I write a note to their corporate, they ignore it, so I did my first review on their site/ Google and it disappears. So I am trying Yelp for the first time. I'm assuming that had they known that customers like the buttons sewn on I would have never known that their problem solving service is horrendous all the way up to corporate. I'm just disappointed that the best they have has missing buttons and the guy on the phone tried to turn it around to being my fault, and then an ignored email didn't help either.... Yeah just buttons but I expected a little more and it didn't leave me with a fuzzy feeling afterwards so I will explore other options for my son's senior prom and my younger sons proms as well. read more

He also provided no recommendations or advice regarding the style of suit my husband should aim for. Strike 1. We decided to come back another day after browsing through the other suit stores. We returned and there was a helpful lady who helped my husband pick out a suit. They had a very sweet and funny tailor who took my husband's measurements. Now we returned to pick up the suit at the time they said it would be ready (about 4 days later). At that time they told us they are still working on the suit and to return right before closing. Strike 2. We returned 5 minutes before closing time and I heard someone say, "we're closed" in a playful way. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the suit to be ready. Strike 3. In the meantime the salesman were watching a basketball game and lounging around the entire time We were there. We will not be back! read more

I told Chris my medical records were none of his business. Then Chris told me I needed to wear a mask. I asked him if he was my doctor. Got a glazed look. Then I let him know he is not in a position to give medical advice, and posing as someone who is is a felony. Also, asking medical questions as a requirement to shop is a violation of the HIIPPA Law.
