The young man that helped us was very patient with us. We came in knowing exactly what we wanted. He offered options and other information that was helpful. On the day that I am writing this review, I went to the Men's Warehouse in Auburn. I went there to buy a suit that I plan on wearing for when I go see The Nutcracker on the 23rd with some loved ones. I ended up purchasing a tuxedo jacket for my suit given that they did not have the jacket I wanted in stock, but overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I plan on purchasing the suit jacket I originally wanted from this location in the future once I save up enough money for it. The polite and respectful gentleman that helped me with my purchase was David if I remember rightly. What I liked most about David was that he was very patient with me and made extra sure to pick out exactly what I wanted. Specifically, I remember someone (whom I think was the manager) questioning whether or not the Pronto Uomo suit I wanted was the one I actually wanted. David responded by saying something along the lines of "no, he specifically asked for a Pronto Uomo suit." I was also unsure about the length of pants and fit for the suit, but David gave me some helpful suggestions. This was only my second time ever stepping into a Men's Warehouse location and I was very nervous about how my experience would go. David did a very nice job of making my experience one that is enough for me to write a 5-star review. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My fiance and I went here to rent a suit for our wedding. We got his sizing and everything done at the Puyallup location and everything seemed great. A few days later we got a text to go pick it up. We are obviously so excited we rush down there, he tries everything and the jacket had a burn hole in it!?! and the pants were too short. They send it back and say come back tomorrow. We go to pick it up for the 2nd time hoping for the best, just to see they never got a new jacket and it still had a burn hole in it. Finally after the 3rd time they got everything right. I understand accidents happen but this was just ridiculous. Never once did we get an apology for the inconvenience. Absolute assholes. Also we paid $250 for this!!! We will NEVER buy or rent anything from here again. read more

Wow I went in today with the intention to buy a suit. I have bought at least 5 suits over the years from MW in Tukwilla, I had incredible experiences with staff there then, but that was 8 to 15 years ago. Todays MW gen z or whatever in Auburn by the supermall so called salesman sucked ass big time. The kid had an attitude that made me feel like I was wasting his time bothering him. No smile, so suggestion or interest in me buying really anything, unreal how crappy these sales ppl have become. I used to recommend your store over the years, not anymore! Cam was the only one working. It took two employees to vacuum the dressing rooms while customers waited. The young lady that was there after vacuuming stared at me. What has happened to customer service and people ACTUALLY working. The older gentleman and the young lady could have easily helped us. I went in to this location It was immediately approached by a gentleman who asked if he could help me when I explain to him that I had an upcoming Christmas party at a very nice location and I need it closed to accommodate that he immediately started explaining to me that for my dress it was going to cost at least $200 when I explain to him that that was fine he said that he was helping somebody else and would be back momentarily another younger gentleman came over a very short time later and asked if he could help but at that time I was browsing and I explained that I was just kind of looking at that moment The first gentleman came back and almost started following me around explaining how much everything costs even though it's clearly displayed on the price tag this made me feel like he felt I couldn't afford to purchase clothes from that store It was extremely insulting and it caused me to immediately walk out in spite of the fact that I think the other young gentleman saw that I was insulted and tried to repair the situation read more

We are getting married this summer and looking to rent suits for our wedding. Totally inexperienced with this wedding and suit thing, we booked an appointment here for some guidance. From the time we walked in the door the guy that helped us acted confused as to why we were there. Besides measuring my fiancee, he did nothing to help us. There were no details about styles or colors given. Again, we have no clue about renting wedding suits, so I was looking for some guidance. He eventually went back behind the computer and I expected him to come back with more details, but he never did. It was one of my most awkward shopping experiences ever and we couldn't get out of that store fast enough. The Full Story: I'm a skinny guy, so I specifically ordered a slim fit tux for my mother's wedding, also its 2016, WHO THE F#CK STILL WEARS BAGGY TUXES?! They spent time fitting me but then gave me non fitted, non slim, baggy dress pants. And then the douchebag there with glasses tried to tell me I was wrong and they WERE skinny fit. But I was helped by what I thought was a helpful lady, who confirmed they had given me the wrong pants and they had no slim fit ones no where except tacoma, so she called them and I drove 45 minutes and they hand me the WRONG COLOR. Apparently she told them the wrong color. Well I was screwed and had to look terrible for my mom's wedding. Terrible customer service. Unorganized. Out of touch with what's in style. The last two times I've shopped here it's so expensive and they don't have your best interest in mind. First time: $900 for a suit? Only once I started to walk did they start showing me the suits they had for $3-400. Felt like dealing with pushy sales people/car salesmen. Second time: My fiancé got her bridesmaids dresses from David's and they said they color match with Men's Wearhouse which is why we gave this place a shot. Today we arrived to pick out attire for our wedding and there has hardly much to choose from and the color matching selection didn't even match. The tiny tiny polka dots on the vest pattern matched but the entire vest was the wrong color. After getting sized up and being made to pick out only what was closest to what we wanted, they wanted a deposit to save it in the computer! Um? No! Very dissatisfied. $270 for a suit rental for our wedding per person. I can go buy one elsewhere for that price. Not worth it. Second headache I've received from going in here and it's the nail in the coffin for me. Can't make myself go back. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!! My husband and his bridal party rented tux's from them and everything was wrong! My husband tried on his tux and nothing fit him, but the shoes. The whole tux was a mess. This was 4 days before my wedding and the whole tux was baggy and very ill fitting. When my father in law tried on his tux they gave him pants that were like 2 sizes too big. Their solution to fixing this was giving him suspenders... REALLY? For a wedding....... we obviously complained about the suspenders and they started looking through other people's orders. Very unprofessional. Makes me think they did that with us. We ended up renting a tux from somewhere else on such short notice. Website says open until 6pm on Sunday. Called the store to confirm, I made sure they were actually open until 6pm. Get there at 5:38, I want to do is buy five pants and five shirts -I finally find someone to help me, by then it's 5:45 and I'm told I can't buy anything because they've already shut down the cash register. The guy tells me I can come back tomorrow. Oh, can I? Great, thanks for planning my workday for me but no, I kind of wanted to go today, on a day off. It blows my mind that in this day and age - the death of brick and mortar - that a retail store would so happily turn down over $1000 in sales...I counted six employees in the store and only three customers, myself included. As I'm leaving I see three other cars pull up - obviously trying to get there before the store closed. This was 5:50 and they went in and started shopping so I can imagine they're probably getting turned down as well. I called the store manager to ask if that's an actual policy and she said it's a store policy, yes. As a business owner this blows me away. I'm also curious if this is a corporate policy or just someone at this particular store wanting to get out a few minutes early - in my days of retail, we closed the cash register AFTER hours, not during business hours. Well Men's Wearhouse you just lost a customer for life, one who bought is very first suit from you over 25 years ago. This place is awful. I got my tux rental from this location, and from start to finish everything was a mess. I wear suits regularly, so I know my size and told them during the fitting exactly what I wanted in terms of shirt/jacket/pants. They nodded, pretended to write down what I told them, and then presumably threw them away when I left the building. When I went to pick my tux up, the shirt was a full two sizes too big, came down to my knees and billowed at the sleeves. The pants were way too wide as well and the inseam was too short, so the whole outfit looked baggy and all around terrible. I asked if they could get me a new shirt/pants and they said they might be able to get it to their store in time, even though I picked it up two days before the event. Worse yet, the tux itself was garbage. There were holes in the jacket and wear spots all over (especially at the seams.) It got embarrassing when people kept trying to brush the dust off of my shoulder, only to realize that it was a threadbare spot where the liner was poking through. I'd suggest you go anywhere else to rent a tux unless you prefer the hobo look for your wedding. read more

Seriously, don't waste your time coming to this or any Men's warehouse. They don't have any actual suit to show you other than some samples staples to see fabrics. It takes forever to get them and they are super expensive. Not to mention their sales women wear micro skirts and let's be honest, they have nothing to brag about. I felt like I was at Walmart looking at some girl with a tiny skirt and dark tights with super long flats and messy hair. What type of crowd are they looking to appeal with that "display." They has too many people working there and not enough people actually helping customers. Managers think they are kings just watching and dismissing you by walking away and pretending they are not there to help you. They didn't seem to want to be bothered. They did not make themselves available to help us even though we had a huge order of 10 tuxedos to rent so we walked out of there and went somewhere else! read more

Just got married! Ended up buying a suit from this location. The suit was perfect fit nice and easy pick up. Now for the bad.... I ended up just renting a button up along with the bow tie. My wedding was out of town sooooo there was no way for me to return my said button up on the day after my wedding. The return policy was never explained to me. Why would they make the return day right after the wedding! So ii figured i could get the late charged waved just because of the misunderstanding and how it was impossible for me to return the following day. Nope, i was greeted with rudeness and no understanding of my situation. Paid 500 dollar for suit there and they cant wave a 20 dollar late fee... thanks Auburn mens warehouse you lost my respect and costumer. read more

The sales associate Miguel is probably the nicest and most helpful associate I've had the pleasure of coming across. He definitely made the experience one of a kind. He was very passionate about getting exactly what I needed. He accommodated every need I had, without being pushy at all. Which I was very worried about dealing with since it was the first time I was getting a suit. My only complaint would have to be the other associates seemed very disinterested but they were still very helpful with what I needed. The suit and alterations were turned out very nice and I am glad I chose this place to get what I needed. They are very professional and the prices are moderate. I would definitely check the website for coupons or deals before going. I was able to get a $350 suit for $197 and $20 for alterations. This Men's Warehouse is a very good location. If you plan on going make sure you get help from Miguel and you most definitely won't be disappointed. read more

My wife and I considered renting a tux for my son's band program. The employee at the time assured us that the would make sure there was plenty of material for him to grow throughout high school if we purchased instead of renting. We have had his tux for just over one year. Noticing the jacket and pants were now too small, we went back. They charged us for alterations even though originally they said they would alter for free. The alterations were either not done or there wasn't enough material as we were told there would be. I called and spoke to the manager to see what options we had. Long story short, they are doing nothing. No discounted second tux, no trade in value on the 1st tux. We feel like we were misled and now have to stomach buying another suit. This business is in the business of lying and capitalizing on their lies. Terrible experience. Taking advantage of families just trying to get by. read more
