Contacted Boise location, spoke to a young girl who could not answer simple basic questions on an in stock mens apparel. Asked for another and she got snippy in attitude and said here's my manager. He got on the phone quickly and had an attitude as if I was disturbing him. I don't know if it is a lack of business courtesy with this younger generation or if I was disturbing them in the stock room. Shopped Men's Warehouse for years, but not here in BOISE! read more

And when I told them I wanted to suit they showed me to separates. And for a coat and pant separate They have the audacity To expect four hundred dollars. Bought a suit from this location and decided to take it back. Never wore it, it just hung in my closet. When I go to return it, as soon as I let them know that I want to return the suit their whole demeanor changed. I was told by the CSR that she was going to call a manager and she asked me to get out of line and step to the side only for her to start talking to another customer. She didn't call a manager. The other CSR then came over p me and asked what I needed and I told her that I was returning my suit. She proceeded to ask me if the suit smelled like food.......... what the heck?? Why would the suit smell like food? I was very offended. I am not going to take back a used suit! I just had buyers remorse and took it back. Smh.... read more

Nobody ever answers the phone. Rented a tux for a formal and the guy had no idea what he was doing. Staff is rude. I actually walked out of the store, realized I forgot to get socks, and instead of walk back into the store which was only 10 ft away, I went to the other clothing store in the same lot. I just could not get myself to go back in. I've rented from this place twice and I dread it every time because of how poor the service is. Fun fact, I went in there to get my tux and said to the guy "Hi I'm here to rent a tux for a party." And the first thing he says to me is "Oh you can do that online." Seriously? I'm here now, and I drove all the way down here to do it in person. That's my point though. They don't want to help you and they act like you're a bother/nuisance when you're in there. read more

Excellent customer service!!! My amazing husband waited until the very last minute to get his wedding outfit for our day. As we were scrambling around trying to find a vest, the men's warehouse was the perfect stop.. I wish we had just gone there first from the beginning! The sales associate (her name is escaping me, but she was awesome) greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and offered assistance. We told her what we were looking for and she guided us in the right direction. She showed us the many colors and styles and also explained how fit can be challenging with some designers. We ended up purchasing two vests (they had a BOGO sale going on which was an extra bonus). I think the total amount of time we spent in the store was 30 minutes or less. We bought a suit for our son on men's warehouse website. We weren't sure of the fit was right so we took it into the store. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us through what can be a stressful decision. We had an excellent experience! Because the alterations were very minor they had us wait and they were able to do them right then. I came here with my disabled brother to buy a suit and accessories. We purposely came during the week and early in the day so that we could avoid lots of activity. Justin was wonderful. He was able to quickly and accurately get us what my brother needed. He was able to make great suggestions and was not hurt when my brother said "no". I was then told I had to wear a mask to make a purchase. I would truly like to rate Men's Warehouse higher because when things work out the way they should they are a decent option for suits. Unfortunately things don;t work out well often and when you have such high stakes on the line I expect more. The fact they have such a stranglehold on the wedding industry is a blessing and a curse for clients looking for an option. I have used Men's Warehouse for several occasions (Wedding and several times as a groomsman) and the fact they are nation wide is a huge bonus. If the wedding is out of state or a member of the wedding party isnt local, being able to go to a different Men's Warehouse and get your matching items sure is nice. The tie in with David's Bridal is also nice as you can coordinate the bridesmaids and groomsmen with ease. I start having issues with a company who has something down so well and continually makes mistakes that could put unneeded stress on a wedding party. The last three events I've been party of have been plagued with issues from Men's Warehouse, specifically the Boise location. I dislike listing out my specific issues because they are unique to situations i've seen, I'm sure they aren't completely unique. To shed a little light on things I've seen/ 1. Groom suit being 2 sizes too small on pants, vest, and dress jacket. 2. groomsman shoes being the wrong style to the rest of the party. 3. groomsman pocket square not included in package. 4. adding the same groomsman 3 times and not being able to figure out their own problem. Most of these items were not found until day of wedding when the individuals tried their items on and weren't able to be rectified in time. Men's Warehouse as a company does offer solutions to ship new items if they don't fit or are incorrect, but it shouldn't happen so consistently. Men's Warehouse has such a hold that they dont need to fix these problems because as consumers we are almost forced to use them. I would rather shop local now if I had the option. I hope this helps people to look local first before going to a big chain. read more

I would give them no stars if I could. I went in to this store off a recommendation that they had nice quality extra long ties, which they did have extremely expensive nice looking ties. However, I was completely ignored by all staff and had to find it on my own through the disorganized mess. Given it was Saturday they may have been understaffed, but multiple times employees walked past me and completely ignored me. I then waited in line behind a group of guys purchasing suits and another guy that was just buying one item. I stayed in line for 20+ minutes waiting, I could see the lady was busy trying to get their order together so I was being patient. But after the long wait with no progress, another group of guys walked up next to the line and an employee immediately went up to them and opened a register just to check them out. Didn't once ask if me or the other person were ready. I could not believe the awful service. I gave up and left. Not once did any employee even address me. I found the same quality ties on Amazon and got a 3 pack for only $25 when I was about to spend $45 on one. Never going back to this place. Don't waste your time. read more

I took my son to get a suit and after finding the suit by ourselves, finding our own dressing room we then waited 10 minutes at the register in full view of 4 employees sitting and talking to each other looking back at us. The staff was incredibly helpful. Hailey spent almost an hour helping me find a pair of pants that fit. I am between sizes, so it tends to be difficult. Not only did she help me find a pair of pants that fit well, she also gave me an overview of suit etiquette, such as leaving the bottom suit button undone. I've never worn clothes this nice, so the overview was greatly appreciated. When I went to check out, my coupon didn't go through. However, since neither of us could find a reason why, she went ahead and applied it. All of this was done while successfully juggling other clients. As I left, the manager, who had helped me earlier, remembered my name and waved me goodbye. All in all, it was an excellent experience. As a poor college student, most of the store is out of my price range. That being said, I was able to get a nice pair of pants and a suit rental for a very reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Tried to make it to their Labor Day sale, but they closed early on Labor Day, which I should have expected. But, I came back the next day and there was a rack with 40% off clearance items. Found me a Sports Coat and nice button up shirt. At first the sales associate that ring my transaction stated the sale was no longer active and he couldn't do the 40% off and that the sign should be been pulled down. However, the owner of the store made good to a new customer, namely me, and had no problem offering the sale. Thank you for honoring what was posted in the store. You have changed my attitude in a positive way. I will probably shop again at your store when initially I wasn't. True class act!! read more

Would have given 0/5 if we could - Not impressed. --- TL;DR: The service here is TERRIBLE. Scheduling is made up, and the appointments don't matter. Take your time and your business elsewhere. My fiancé scheduled an appointment over a month in advance for his initial groom's suit fitting at Men's Warehouse near the Boise Townsquare Mall. We arrived fifteen minutes in advance and were "greeted" by what I can only describe as utter chaos... The employees were running around in every direction and the whole store was filled to the brim with teenagers and their parents shopping for (I assume) prom outfits. We waited in line to speak with one of the front counter clerks, explained that we had an appointment for a suit fitting, and asked what we needed to do/where we were supposed to wait to meet with the consultant. The woman sort of laughed, told us "you're not going to like it, but..." and then gestured towards the horde of teenagers across the store and told us we would need to "try and find someone to help, over there. Good luck!" So - We made our way through the crowd and waited near the fitting rooms while employee after employee buzzed past us. When we finally were able to get someone's attention, the man quickly explained that we would need to put our name down on their sign-up sheet, and that there was an expected wait of 45 minutes to one hour... We tried to express that we had already scheduled an appointment for the fitting and the man apologized, but then just pointed again towards the sign-up sheet and hurried off. I understand that places get busy. I understand that many are short-staffed, these days. And, I understand that prom season can be crazy! What I do not understand is why you even offer scheduled appointments if you just plan on letting walk-ins take over, regardless?? Either include a disclaimer to explain the potential for your customer's appointment to be overrun by anyone who decides to stop in that day, or don't offer the service in the first place. I have had nothing but positive experiences when dealing with Men's Warehouse. We used them for our wedding 9.3.11 :) and then I just had my husband buy a whole new outfit from them for a wedding we were attending. For our wedding I worked soley with Jack from day one. It was nice to have something constant and someone who I knew, and who knew our plan. All of our tuxes arrived perfectly, and nothing had to be changed. Great Job! We also received the 50% off coupon to use at a later date. Which we FOUND OUT expired 3 months after our wedding, but thankfully Sandra Belveal made it all work out for us. She issued our coupon even though it had expired. It saved us over 100$ so we were very glad. I would strongly recommend going through Men's Warehouse for your formal needs! read more

Yes they have typical formal wear and such and they know how to measure you. Highly over priced for not a huge selection of dress shirts. My husband's best man is very TALL (6'8" or so) and he came in to pants for our wedding. Was told it would take 3 days and they would be ready day of the wedding before noon. Great perfect timing. (I was not a bridezilla and was laid back day of was fine). Right, he gets there and they looked at him like he HAD NEVER BEEN IN. Correct they had not hemmed up his pants. He had to wait in store while they did a quick stitch job. He paid 112$ for pants and quick stitch job. Don't come here if you need something quickly, they will forget you. I am sure it would be better if there were weeks before the event. PS one of the sales guys will pitch God to you in funny jokes while you wait. Thanks but no thanks. read more

These guys were absolutely awesome!!! My boyfriend and I went there to get him some outfits for interviews and the service was great, and the prices were also super reasonable. They didn't try to push super expensive stuff that we didn't need and actually recommended a store where we could the shoes we wanted for cheaper. They were understaffed (which was not the employees fault at all) 10/10 will definitely be back there again. read more

After wasting MUCH time to-ing and fro-ing (purchasing and returning) with suits and pants for my hates-to-shop fiancé, I spied the MW store and decided to go in -- first time. LUCKILY for me, John Arterburn was the person to help me. He has a wealth of knowledge, and experience, AND his low-key but enthusiastic manner was comforting! Unfortunately, the items I chose again didn't fit but this time, I brought F back with me -- sensing that John would make the experience bearable for him. Turned out even better than I'd hoped. John immediately got sizes right, and listened well when F described what HE wanted (John already had an idea of what I was looking for....). A bit of tailoring was needed, and the nice seamstress (who also seems to have a ton of experience) knew just how to work with us. Picked up everything (all was ready on time), tried it on, and it was just to F's liking. He looks great! I should have started here, with John Arterburn....and will definitely be going back to him for any future clothing needs! John's customer service sense is fantastic, and he did several things to make both of us more comfortable, and make the shopping experience convenient and even (dare I say?) fun. read more

After not even being greeted when we walked in we wandered around for 20 minutes with not one sales person speaking to us or acknowledging that we were there. There were only 2 other couples in the store. There were two associates at the registrar and several more standing in the back. We left, of course no one said a word to is, and went somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am writing to express the truly awful experience we had at your Boise, ID location. We were scheduled to pick up our group order on Friday, May 20th, 2022. When we arrived multiple items in the orders were wrong sizes, but the biggest issue was the ring bearers whole rental had not arrived yet. We were told, " It had been lost in transit." We expressed our understandable stress because our wedding was the following day. They said they would fedex over night ship and we could come the following day and pick up at 10:30am. Already being frustrated to have to pick something up on my wedding day, we left feeling assured the order was going to arrive. When I sent my friend the next morning with the ring bearer, She arrived to an extremely choaitc store. She waited over 15 mins for someone to help her. The sales woman right away said she would grab the manager because she did not believe any fedex shipments had arrived that day. The manager just casually looks in the back and then saunters back to say that fedex had lost the package. This was now TWICE that men's warehouse and/or fedex lost the SAME order. My friend said to the manager, "Then let's fix this. What options in black or dark grey do you have?" He then comes out with the child wearing a navy blue suit and saying, " this is all we have in his size." Mind you my entire wedding party is in black or grey. He then spent another 20-25 mins in the back after my friend simply asked if they could just be refunded so she could take the child across the street to Dillards or another department store to purchase on the wedding day something for him to wear. My friend was supposed to pick up two vests that were over-nighted as well, one for a groomsman and the other for the Father of the Groom. He bluntly and rude said we don't have those. He took another 30 mins to finally process the refund after wasting her time trying to bring out pieces that were clearly not the child's size. The child is a shoe size 4 1/2 and he brought out a size 8 asking if that would work. After spending over an hour and half, the refund was made and my friend specifically asked for him to note that the order was lost twice, and the only pieces being borrowed from men's warehouse for that order were a black shirt and red bow tie. Upon return of the rented black shirt and red bow tie we were then chastised about not returning the entire rental suit because none of these issues had been noted in his profile. It was extremely distressing to find out nothing of this horrible experience had been noted by the manager named Benjamin. No one should have to deal with this on their wedding day. We choose your company for their reputation and reliability. Because of how this situation was handled you have lost not only our future business, but the business of over 10 other patrons. Everyone needs to know how this location handled this situation. read more
