She only accepts cash to keep her costs down. What I went there for: Get my pants hemmed. For folks worried about getting their nice suit hemmed, have no fear. I brought over my new Bonobos suit(pants). This is part of a $600 set that I saved up a years worth of clothes money first. I trusted Chi with these and she did not fail. Cost: $10. Prices are not listed, but at least this will give anyone an idea about one item. Could be more or less depending on the mood of the owner. Call beforehand, let her know you're coming in. I found Chi's business on Yelp and called to see if she could rush a dress for me. I just moved to town and needed a dress hemmed four inches asap. She told me to stop by and she would look at the dress. When I arrived she was very kind and told me she would be able to get the dress done in time. I tried it on and we agreed on the perfect length with the shoes I was going to wear. She pinned it and took down my information and called me back the next day! She had it steamed and ready for me to pick up! It's perfect and I'm so grateful I found Chi's business!!! It was a great price for her getting my dress completed so quickly. I had had a pair of dress shorts that I brought in to have the waist taken out just a little bit, and was not very satisfied with the quality and care given to my clothing. When I brought them in to be looked at, she immediately said she couldn't do it, then had me try them on, and said she could do it, which was a little confusing but i trusted her abilities. She had me pay $40 up front, which would be no problem if they were actually tailored. upon getting them back from her, (I had to come in a day later than when I needed them, because she simply wasn't there the day she told me to come get them.), it seems like all that was done was moving the button slightly and adding one of the two clasps back on and leaving some noticeable damage to the fabric on the waist band. The pants were part of an expensive suit I had custom made, and now it looks very unprofessionally "fixed". While the pants do fit, I was quite underwhelmed with the quality, care, and customer service I received. I will have to take these in to someone else to fix them once again. read more

Wanted to trust this tailor but I dropped a pair of pants off in February... of 2024. Never got a call back when they were ready & I absolutely know I left the right number & contact info. Wanted to give the tailor some grace because when I did drop my pants off she had a table filled with orders that looked much more complicated than my simple tailor. However I never received any update on them or time frame for pick up, and ultimately forgot about it until today. Also made me pay up front which I found weird but ultimately complied because the service seemed legit. Awful system & service & now out of a $90 pair of pants from Nordstrom. read more

I pick up items that were altered - my never worn items came back late and stained!! The items were supposed to be ready for pick up on Monday - when I arrived Tuesday the items couldn't be found and we're not ready. I came back later that day... when I got the items they had been stained. Chi wouldn't take responsibility $700 worth of clothing ruined! She tried to blame my husband who picked up the items. Owner is always very rude. I'm never going here again. Sometimes things aren't ready when she says. Call first. She accused me of not washing my pants before bringing them in to replace a fallen hem. I only use unscented detergent because of my eczema. It really pissed me off. I took them straight out of the laundry and brought them to her. So it was insulting. She only takes cash and if you do checks she says it takes longer. I've been tolerant of her rudeness, but I've had it after all these years. read more
