Great experience at Men's Wearhouse. Went in looking for some Jeans and found the perfect pair. They were onsale too. Service was friendly and had plenty of space to try on and browse without being overly bothered. I have been in a couple times since and sales are hit or miss but I had definitely forget about Men's Wearhouse and their offerings since I got a suit there in 2015 and am definiely keeping an eye out for the deals here. read more

I expressed I had a coupon as soon as I came in, spent two hours measuring everything. $400 in alterations and two hours later and I'm told coupons can't be used on alterations. Live and learn I guess, my local tailor is half their price without a coupon. What a total waste of time. I'm not buying the 10 dress shirts from them either now. They lost my business and I spend thousands a year on dress clothes. The shirt selection at this location is lacking as well. All the common sizes were sold out. I called corporate and was told they were correct and that coupons cannot be used on alterations, but they offered me $20 of $100 in purchases. Another coupon I'm unable to use on alterations and could have got by signing up for text alerts. No help there either. They lost my business which is upsetting since I've shopped there for years. read more

I was a bit leery of coming, with so many bad reviews. But I need a blazer, and they looked to have a bunch at reasonable prices. And though I didn't end up getting one here, I had a great experience. Nicely organized, by style mainly, and service was great. Allison (I think) took my measurements, asked what I needed the coat for, etc., and pointed me at a couple of nice jackets. Good stuff, but more than I wanted to pay for something I maybe wear once a year. She gave me some tips on size, colors, etc., and sent me to another store- which was a good thing. They are owned by the same people as Joseph Banks and K&G, and she suggested the latter since I was looking for cheaper. Ended up getting one there, so though I feel bad she might have missed out on a commission her company did get some money eventually. Woah. Stepped on a pin in the dressing room- that was a sign of things to come. Didn't know how painful this would be- but at least I wore dark socks to cover up the blood. Yikes. I'm the father of the bride, so the groomsmen chose the attire and location to get the tux from. They looked good in the brochure online, and the process seemed easy when I went in to get measured. No worries right? When I got the text that the tux was ready I went to try it on. ALWAYS try it on first. This was when I stepped on the pin. So while not feeling the most chipper I tried on the pants. I'm not as slim as I once was, but there's a significant difference between my 36 and the 42 they gave me. So they ordered me a new size to pick up the next day- which was today. I went on to pick up the tux and tried the NEW pants on again, and they fit. But are as wrinkled as a relief map of West Virginia. I asked the guy who was attending me if they could press these on the back and he said "sure", then went to the back for 10 seconds- and came back saying that he was sorry that the press was broken and he couldn't do anything about it. ARGH! So I'm taking this to get pressed because there is no way I'll wear this wrinkled thing as is. No offer to get it pressed for me- or stop by another store... nothing. This is the last time I'll go here. At the price they charge for this wrinkled, wrong size, painful experience I'll go somewhere else. You should too. read more

I had two bad experiences with Men's Wearhouse recently and was asked by a manager to contact them to speak further. I did that. I've actually now contacted them 2x to have them contact me for additional feedback but no one has called me. Remember I did this at their request, yet they do not care enough reach out. I've left Informaton on days and best times to call but they still have NOT reached out. You would think that if a business requests for you to contact them, they would be eager to resolve this but the impression I get is that the problems with men's Wearhouse are much bigger than the local stores. This is a leadership problem. I've seen this before, they get a bad, but honest review so they have a social media person issue an "I'm sorry this isn't the kind of experience we want to give response", thinking that gives the impression they care. But the reality is, once you reach out to them, they aren't sorry. They have no intent in changing. Until Men's Wearhouse can get their house in a order, I recommend shopping somewhere else. I had a rental here for a wedding the other week. During the fitting I didn't feel confident in how I looked in the suit because I rarely wear them. The attendant was unable to tell me how the fabric should hang off my body or if it actually fit me properly from her professional viewpoint. I know nothing about them so I don't know how I should look. She helped me work through a few different sizes, which I appreciated, but I did not feel very confident with my purchase when I left. A few weeks afterwards when I went in to try my suit the assistant said he'd help me make sure everything looked good and would ensure I had it all on correctly, though he seemed disinterested or otherwise occupied. I put my clothes on in the dressing room and when I came out he was nowhere to be seen. I waited for a few minutes, but he was still missing. Another attendant asked me if I'd been helped and I told her yes and that I was waiting for him, so she let me be. He never came back after that. I decided I'd just I'd put the rest of the items on by myself. I checked how it all fit in the mirror out on the floor, it seemed to all fit fine by my standards. I put all my normal clothes back on in the dressing room and walked to the desk, on my way up he came from the front and told me that he'd completely forgotten about me and that he was watching training videos. I really didn't find it as amusing as he did. I did not feel very cared for, the suits are very expensive to rent and I wish I'd had a more professional experience. read more

The staff there is more attentive an competent. I actually came in for an alteration to my suit for my wedding in September that I had already purchased and the staff was so disorganized, that I left without getting the fitting work done. I was given the wrong suit for a wedding. I Got called by the store at 9 pm and they asked me to meet up with this other person in private to exchange suits. Of course, I did not do this so the next day I returned the wrong suit. Was given the correct one. They told me no need to try on the collared shirt since it was the same size. Day of the wedding I found out the collared shirt fits somebody that is probably about a foot taller than me and 200 lbs heavier. It didn't look very good, to say the least. Sadly such an awful experience. Walked in nobody greeted us or asked to help us , I figured once we asked for a dressing room they would offer help nope! I asked one of the older women working there if we could just go in the dressing room or how it works she basically scoffed and rolled her eyes at me and said just open the door you could go in any dressing room. So that's what we did. We started trying on some suits yet. Nobody offered to help us after about an hour of being there. Finally I asked for help. Once again I was met with a rude and annoyed attitude was told that once she was done, helping her other guest, that she would help me, well she never did help. She ended up just moving onto another guest so I once again was greeted finally, after being in there for over an hour by a young man who asked if we needed help I was happy that someone finally asked if we needed help so I said yes, we are looking at the suit trying on for our wedding, so I was assuming at this point we would have been offered someone to measure him and find his perfect size but that's not what happened so then I suggested he needs measured so we can find his perfect size and the young man told me well, no not really it's just what you prefer. i'm sorry I am pretty sure that there is a specific way. A suit is supposed to fit and unfortunately nobody there seemed to care enough to actually give us real help. It's really unfortunate that you go to a place that supposed to be nice like Men's Wearhouse, and not a single one of their associates, could offer us any professionalism or act as if they even cared a little bit about us spending hundreds of dollars on a suit. if you are set on going to Men's Wearhouse, don't go to this one. as a first time ever being in a Men's Wearhouse, it was a terrible experience and will probably never be back. I understand it's a busy season for formal wear and my wait time didn't bother me. Our school just opened prom today to juniors so I didn't know before today we would be needing a tuxedo. I did call the store this afternoon and asked if I could make an appointment and they said no. However, I don't feel a busy season is an excuse for poor service. My son was nervous due to being his first formal wear appointment and he was self-conscious due to his size. We asked what would be most comfortable. Our person said they are all the same. When I asked about a coupon I noticed online and he tried to discourage me from looking into it. I signed up online for the coupon and told him at the register and his attitude changed a little or it might have been sarcasm, he was like oh that will same you some money. Renting a formal suit is expensive and every little bit helps. My person also appeared offended when another employee asked if I ask any questions and I asked if we could try on the sample shoes to pick the size (the answer was no, you try them on at pick up only) We were told the suit would be in the day before our event and we would have to try it on between 3-5pm to have anything adjusted. A two hour window seems extreme when most people are working during that window. I'm very disappointed, but felt I had no other options but to continue with the rental due to our limited time frame. I ordered two dress shirts on line. They shipped someone else's order. The customer service email did not work so I called and talk with a person who could care less. She told me that the policy was that I had to take the wrong items back to a shipping center or the store (20 miles away) and return them. Understand these are not my items I want to return, they belong to a guy in Oregon. They did not seem to care that he did not get his pants. I shipped them back an asked about my shirts. They said "company police" is that they keep my money and shirts until they get time to process the return and decide. Then they will ship my shirts. I have asked twice about my shirt order, now 3 weeks old, no answer. From my experience and the other reviews, this is a very poorly managed company that struggles to get good staff. I've literally never been into a store that lacked such professionalism. Any store that sells suits should have an expectation of basic training/guidance in their employees. This place had none. There were two older gentlemen who actually seemed like they knew how to help but were of course busy with other customers, leaving two other children in the store who looked like they were flying blind. At one point the young kid helping us (which I use the word help lightly because if anything he should've just left us alone) just suggested we go to another store in the middle of the hood on morse road. I was astonished. He had no idea how to help and instead of saying "let me find someone who can assist you further" the employee told us to go to a complete different suit store that wasn't even a men's warehouse! How crazy is that. Never in a million years have I had a retail person who was so out of their depth and poorly trained that they told me to leave and go somewhere else. Safe to say we spent $434 nothing fits, i'm returning it all tomorrow and never coming back to a men's warehouse again. I'd like to add, ultimately It was not the young kids fault. I blame it on management for not training these kids properly and allowing them to work with customers when they are severely under experienced on how to help someone properly or how to guide them to someone who can. Also in addition apparently you can't try shirts on at this store, which I saw fitting rooms so who actually knows if that was true or not or if the employee was just so severely under trained that they had no idea what was going on. Good thing my husband and I have a good sense of humor or else this would've been a total waste. read more

Our salesman sized up my husband and outfitted him perfectly on the first try. He selected a beautiful grey suit that wasn't cheap, but also wasn't the mossy expensive option in the store. We ended up getting two suites, three shirts, two ties, and the pants' hems raised for $900. My husband looks like he spent thousands on custom tailored suits. Really rough experience setting up a wedding group here. In addition to taking an entire hour for set-up, there were prime examples of horrible customer service. One store associate didn't know how to do all of the steps to set up the group--fine. But what was not fine was how he was swearing through the whole process. He was swearing at other co-workers, at the computer, and around us. There were also families that were clearly made uncomfortable by this. An older associate had to pester him to keep him on task, instead of arguing with a co-worker. My best man and I were uncomfortable the whole time we were there, and didn't get our questions answered. After we finished working with them, we asked a manager lots of questions about the rental process that were unanswered (it's our first time renting here). We left the conversation feeling incompetent, as opposed to informed. Her tone was quite condescending. Really puts a damper on a part of the wedding process that should be exciting. I've popped in here a few times now - never for rentals, mind you - but usually a "I need a jacket/business attire, and I want it fitted." Because if it isn't fitted, you look a little foolish. Get a tailor, people! Now, my last visit was last minute prep for Halloween - a vest, gloves, bow-tie and a nice white button down shirt. I wasn't going to skimp, because these things *last* even if their first use was a dance party/halloween costume (I was Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit, ya dig?). I walked in, said what I needed - they took me straight back to another gentleman who asked me a few questions, sized me up, and helped me narrow down my options. I wish i could give 0 stars. My wedding is this weekend. Because i have had a positive experience in the past I decided obviously long ago to use Men's Wearhouse to get suits for me and my 9 groomsmen. Me and my fiance picked out the suits we wanted and told everyone else to order. They did. Men's Wearhouse screwed us over. First, when I ordered my suit back in june they gave me the wrong shirt, the wrong shoes, and told me that we had only ordered the pants. After a while they finally found they were typing in the wrong number and fixed the issue, but they did the same thing trying to only give the pants to the father of the bride, and 4 of the groomsmen. Then when I took my suit in to be tailored at the end of June they told me they would call me back when it was ready. I waited till mid August but with my wedding being on October 2nd and it taking so long I began to get nervous. I tried calling countless times because i am busy being a full time student, working a full time job, and planning a wedding, but no one ever answered the phone. I went in to the store and they had lost my suit. They re-ordered the suit and tailored it by September 7th. The whole process took from June 11th through September 7th. That's not even the worst part. They also lost one of my groomsmen's suits, so they ordered another one for him. They told him that it would be in in about 3 days and that they would get it tailored on time for the wedding. Now, with the wedding this weekend we find out that they lost the suit again and the suit style is all sold out! How does this keep happening??? I know they stopped paying their employees commission and the moral and quality in the place took an extremely deep dive but this is insanity. When you go in to the store most of the employees completely ignore you, and sometimes they will just walk away in the middle of a conversation. Incredibly unprofessional and terrible service. I am working on trying to get a refund for my groomsman as well as trying to figure out what I am going to do about the mess this company created for me. Thanks for the extra stress! read more

I'm really only giving them 1 star because we physically had suits for the wedding. NONE of the suits were what we ordered or asked for. We ordered slim fit and what we got were relaxed fit at best. The majority of the guys had suits that were way too big and I mean mutliple sizes too big especially in the coats. I gave them the benefit of the doubt knowing they had horror stories but I would NEVER recommend using them for anything. I do appreciate the reimbursement for some of the guys but it was really unacceptable. This is one single day that we will look back on for the rest of our lives and they could not get it right after multiple tries. DO NOT use them. read more

We chose Men's Warehouse to handle our custom suits for our wedding since members of the wedding party were located in Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio. I spent numerous hours at the North Carolina location guaranteeing each member of the wedding party had a detailed description of requests. For example, we put $100 gift card to everyone's account to be applied towards the end balance and special linings picked out by my fiancé and I. HOWEVER, the best man was suppose to have a flag lining in the inside of his suit due to being deployed with my fiancé. That was the one special request we had made and wanted to guarantee could be accomplished. It was a surprise to the best man and covered monetary wise by us. The best man went to pick up the suit and the lining was incorrect. The lining inside was a silver paisley and not a flag lining. Our wedding is 09/18/2021 with limited time to spare to correct the problem. For over the last week, I am trying to rectify this situation before anyone else at Men's Warehouse is trying to fix the problem. The money was returned to the groomsmen, but it has nothing to do with the money. I would pay double; in order for the problem to be corrected due to the sentimental value. I have been trying to have a lining sent to me in North Carolina and have his suit jacket shipped to me and have the lining replaced by a tailor. At my own cost, I have the burden to rectify this. Right now, I called the Ohio Men's Warehouse to retrieve the order number for the best man and explained why I needed it. The lady put me on hold to ask Nick regarding my questions. She got back on the phone to tell me that Nick said a lining would not be shipped. Well Nick, I'm not working at your store level anymore since the order was messed up originating from your store. I don't care to know what Nick's thoughts are regarding my situation because I will die trying to fix this for the veterans in our wedding party. Unfortunately, this has escalated to a corporate level to have a resolution, if at all. I am giving this Men's Warehouse one star due to the lady who answered the phone offered her complete sincerest to me and genuinely acted like she cared. Ok, I own my own business and I know reviews can either help or hurt. For this store, they deserve the negative feedback. Very unfriendly staff and it was filthy. As soon as you walk in, you immediately see that the floors needed swept. There was dirty counters where you pay and the staff looked as though they have never seen anyone smile. I came in on a Monday. There must've been about 35 people in there. Full house during prom season. I needed to be fitted for a tux that I would be needing for a wedding the following Saturday in California. Abdi was extremely helpful with helping me choose a tux that was right for me, and taking my measurements. He told me that he wasn't perfect, so I would need to arrive early on Friday to make sure it fit correctly in order to have time to make adjustments before the wedding. When I tried on my tux on Friday morning, it fit perfectly! He did an awesome job and I am very happy with the service I received here. Horrendous service. Not even worth the time to review. I wanted to chalk up the first experience to a few people having a really bad day but in the 4 or 5 times I had to return since we made the order to rent a tuxedo nearly every employee, every single time has been extremely rude and unhelpful. Flabbergasted as to what these people think they are at work for... usually you have to actually earn your paycheck to get it; not here! They'll hire anybody apparently. The lady in the blue beak-looking mask, the older woman (the worst one here), about 8-10 other men - all would not have jobs if this company cared about customer experience. If you're wondering if maybe this is just an extreme circumstance or maybe it was our fault... read through the rest of the reviews. This place truly only gets as much business as they do because people, including myself, don't know of any other place to go, but I'd rather sew my own suit than shop here again. We had a very pleasant experience. We went to set up an account for the groomsmen for our wedding and the guy who helped us there was very nice and seemed interested to help us out. Not only that, but he went out of his way to really tell us about the styles and tips and tricks - much more thorough. I'm comparing this to the experience we had at Jos. A. Bank and we had a better experience here. In regards to tux selection, there was not a huge amount of rental choices, so it is what it is. We wanted a peaked lapel with a satin finish (I'm really not sure what the terminology is, but hopefully that's right lol), however, they only had notched satin or a grain peaked lapel.
