I googled and found a place called "suit supply". Called ahead and the guy met me at the door and 15 mins later I had purchased the suit and they even tailored it same day for me... I also purchased a black tie, white shirt, socks, and some other stuff b MW should train their sales staff better. I would have been an easy sale .... Went to the 3501 McKinney Ave location to get sizing done and purchase suits. I saw the retail associate helping another guest, eye contact was made, I waited at the CUSTOMS area for him or another associate to come back to ask the golden questions since the being of sales associate time "Hi sir, have you been helped yet or how I can I help you today?" Following my 17 minute wait of him and the other members speaking. I decided just to google another location to bring my business. However, what pissed me off is him "sir do you need something" which I responded, no I am just going to go somewhere else no has tried to help me. His excuse was "I can't help you if your looking down on your phone". When I responded you could come up to me and ask if I need help as well. He still explained but your on your phone. I have worked in hosptialty for 15 years from Las Vegas Resorts / Nightlife ++.... I am never heard such a POOR excuse for I suck at my job. I took my business to Knot Standard. My daughters and I walked into this store this evening, wasn't spoken to by any employee. I thought no biggie everyone is assisting someone. Walked around looking at suits that would fit one of my daughters, still not being spoken to, 3 guys walk in and it was "hello, how can we help you" from one of the employees. Still walking around unattended, I had my daughter try on one of the jackets. After another guy came from the back and I was still unattended, I put the suit set that I hand in my hands back and walked out. One of the employee ran after me to see what the problem was and what they could do to make it right. I told him nothing. I know this store is tailored to men but it's not right that we got ignored and the 3 guys that came in after us got almost immediate service. He tried to tell me they have no issue with dressing a girl in a suite and if I would come back in they would assist me, but I'm sorry the damage is done. I felt it was very unprofessional how they treated us. If I could rate this experience 0 stars I would. I ordered custom suit pants and a vest for a wedding. I called 2 weeks before the wedding (when it was said to arrive), and they told me that it hadn't shipped. The week of the wedding I called every day for an update.... only to get told 2 days before that my order wouldn't make it in time for the wedding! The people at this location seem nice, but there are clearly issues with structure and organization. Very disappointing. If you are going to buy a suit, don't buy it here. Here is why. I am an expert in a lot of things that I charge a lot for. Suits are an important part of my business/professionalism, so I am an expert in that, but its advice I am willing to share for free. I have been wearing a suit and tie for work since 1986. In June, I bought 3 suit from Wen's Wearhouse. Two of the three are just not professional...its the pants. I bought the pants based on the waist. What I didn't know is that Men's Wearhouse doesn't know how to cut pants anymore. According to my doctor, I am my ideal weight for my height (6' tall 175 lbs.) The pants may fit in the waist, but that's it...and I am supposed to be a the weight we all are. I put the suits from MW in my rotation so wear 1 about every 2 weeks. Every time I wear them in the real world, they ride up my butt, create ripples along my thighs because they are so tight, and my hips look like a chipmunk with cheeks full of seeds. See the picture below...it's just not professional. I called my local store to see what we could do and they said I could return them. They said they would take the suits back. I showed up and they said I could also get pants that would match, willing to work with them I tried on several and found something that my tailor could probably make work (a waist 38...I wear 33s in everything else). When I went to the counter, MW wanted to charge me full price for the new pants. I asked about a pleated pants options, and the kindly said that I could only get that in a custom suit. FYI, their custom suits are about 25% more than what I can get a custom suit for...so I said no thank you. I asked for some credit, but they refused because the pants were altered. All pants come way too long and unhemmed so they have to be altered to wear so this reason struck me as an excuse to try to milk me for more money instead of giving me what I was promised in the first place. Add the cost of a second pair of pants (that fit), and its more than a can get a custom suit for. At this point, MW had told me what I need to know...this is not a company I want to do business with. Their people are great. Their products and corporate policies stink. I understand why people don't want to wear suits if all they (think they) have access to/can afford are MW suits. Customers deserve better. Thus, if you need a suit, do a search and find a local guy that will do a custom suit for you. It will cost twice as much, but you will wear it 4x as much, it will last 8x longer, and you will look 16 times better. It is totally worth the money. read more

I was on a business trip and realized I left my sportcoat at home. I stopped into this location as I always had good experiences with the Men's Wearhouse at home in MD. All I wanted/needed was a simple navy sportcoat and it shouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes. Instead, I was "rewarded" with an overly aggressive salesperson who insisted he knew my size better than I did and continually pushed additional products on me. I wear a 44 Short and he kept giving me 42 Slim Fit jackets despite my repeated statement that I know my size. He finally relented but not without a lecture about how I was not buying the right fit. The jackets he gave me were entirely too small and I could barely move in them. The final straw was, after I finally got a jacket I liked, he was insistent that I buy 2 additional pairs of pants and a shirt. I politely said no thank you as I did remember my shirt and slacks. He wouldn't take no for an answer and even wrapped the measuring tape around my neck without my permission. I had enough at that point and told him to stop touching me and either ring me up or lose my business altogether. I will never visit this location again and probably won't even visit my local store in the future. read more

Over the course of 10-12 years, I bought virtually all of my work clothes from Men's Wearhouse. A few years ago, I went to this location to get some pants. The salesman seemed eager when I first entered, but then quit paying attention to me once it was apparent I would buy a couple of pairs. Instead, while ignoring me and not letting me know he would get back to me, he assisted other customers who arrived after me, but seemed to have more items to buy. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I needed to get fitted for a buddy's wedding. I went to this location only because it was close to where I was. Jasmine was outstanding. She was very upbeat, polite, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Customer service like that is exceedingly rare now. Independently of my visit, another buddy in the wedding mentioned that he had the exact same experience with Jasmine. SERVICE! That is what we got. Men's Wearhouse was the last stop of a crazy day of shopping. Yes, 12 days until our sons wedding and my partner still didn't have his suit. As we entered this convenient Uptown location , we were greeted by the very helpful Jesse. We quickly explained our situation and were then whisk off among the many options at hand. Jesse seemed to know just about everything about menswear and sized my partner up at a glance. Of course he measured him to confirm his instinct, spot on he was. Shortly after,the look of shear terror sat in my partners eyes( as there were so many options), my partner mentioned he liked what Jesse was wearing. Well, presto changeo! The perfect suit appeared as if my magic! WOW! That was easy. Jesse then offered up just as many shirt and tie options,each just perfect. Bottom line, we purchased the perfect suit( the fitting and tailoring will be done by Sunday) 2 shirt and tie combos, 3 pairs of socks a pair of shoes and a matching belt . And, everything was on sale. I forgot to mention this feat was accomplished in just under 45 minutes. Our only regret is we didn't come here first! Would of saved us a half day of anxiety. So people from out of town can get fitted at their home local, then drop off their tux at the destination local after the event. They offered some great free tux deals and even a free suit. Stuck on the fence between buying a suit and renting a tux, I came to Men's Wearhouse on my lunch hour. Pamela greeted me at the door so I immediately asked for her assistance. I explained that I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, but needed something amazing for an event on Saturday and I shared my budget with her. Keep in mind, it's Tuesday, so I'm trying to work a miracle. Pamela had me in a jacket, pants, vest, shirt, bowtie, pocket square, measured for alterations, and paid (we came in $20 under budget!!) in about 40 minutes. I even left with a cedar hanger to keep my new wool suit on and a nice garment bag. AND Pamela gave me a bowtie tying lesson - this woman is the best. I'll definitely be back. I've used men's wearhouse before and had good experiences, but just don't go to this one. I've been there multiple times during different times of the day, and I always have to wait around for quite a while to get any service. When I rented a tux, I was helped by the manager who interrupted getting measurements several times to deal with other issues and/or get upset at his employees rather than fully focusing on serving a customer. W The employees seem to be marginally interested in doing their jobs, with a few that seem engaged. When I picked up my suit, it was just as difficult to find someone to help me. In summary, this is a fine chain, but go anywhere else but this location. read more

They approached with the initial, and obnoxious, "how can I help you today?" retail-robot type greeting, but then paid me no mind when I had actual questions and was prepared to make a purchase. Prices and selection are what you would except from a discount retailer. Some of the clearance items are in range of online retailers, but the majority of the clothes are significantly over priced for the quality. I'm not sure why I spent time in this store in the first place? And, I am embarrassed to say I almost made a purchase. Was in Dallas for a huge annual business conference in February (late review but better late than never) and after unpacking at the hotel I discovered I forgot my suit pants! After some laughter and anger I composed myself and gave this Men's Wearhouse location a call. I explained that I needed a suit for a conference tomorrow morning (bear in mind that it was approximately 5:00 p.m. when I called) and asked what can you do for me. She put the store manager, Pamela, on the phone. She said they would figure out something and to come down. Hopped in a taxi and off I went. When I arrived she went right to work trying to find something. Now, I'm a slender guy and I never can find something just off-the-rack that fits me which is why I get my suits from Men's Wearhouse because of the in-house alterations. But again, it was late and the conference was first thing in the morning so no time for alterations. Pamela stayed tenacious. She did not stop until she ultimately found a suit separate that fit almost perfectly. We put together the finishing touches and just like that I was ready and looking good. Most of the staff was nice here, but I paid to have a shirt taken in and when I got it back the shirt was way too tight. I asked him to let it out, and the tailor griped at me saying I got what I asked for. After basically begging (which I shouldn't have had to) he let it out about 1mm. So I asked him to do it again and he complained and complained saying I was picky (??). I just wanted my freakin shirt to fit seeing as I paid him to make it fit. Anyways, I ended up getting bullied into leaving with it much too small (the staff told me just to not put my hands in my pockets and it won't feel too small). I haven't worn it since and now I'm going to have to take it somewhere to actually do their job and make it fit the way I want it. read more

Terrible service from a woman who claimed to be a manager there, Pam. We went to Men's Wearhouse because we have groomsmen from all over the country so this seemed like an easy and convenient option for our Wedding party. She had us in and out in 25-30 min and we specifically asked if the suit she sold us was one that would fit all of the groomsmen. She assured us it would fit everyone and came in extended sizes. She even told us they were coming out with Boy's sizes for our Ring Bearer. We were thrilled! Then After multiple phone calls, multiple trips in to their local stores by our groomsmen we found out none of this was true...she had input an extreme slim suit in for our wedding party...most of which are extremely built or larger guys, priced the suits upwards of $70 more than she quoted us, the boys suit was not available, and she misspelled my fiance's last name so it was difficult for our groomsmen to find the account. Pam was always on vacation or off or we would have to be places hold for extended periods in an attempt to work with her. Luckily after visiting another location we were able to get this rectified... but I would highly recommend staying away from this location and working with this woman!! Possibly the worst experience I've ever had. When one has to pay $235 for a tuxedo rental, one expects that tuxedo to be top notch, clean, and spotless. Unfortunately, no. There was a disgusting grease stain on the vest which is ridiculous considering the price I paid for one suit rental. As I was returning it, I thought it would be courteous to let someone know that there was a stain on the vest and that it should be cleaned. The guy working the counter looked up at me and said, "Oh I could care less about that." Really?! Because I care. I just paid $235 for a stained tuxedo rental and then got sassed by a rude employee. Never again will we use Men's Wearhouse and especially not at this location. I can't wait to get married, but I will never use or recommend this terrible place again. THE WORST. read more
