Of course it was about 5 or 6 sizes too big on me, so and it had a lot of alterations that needed to be done, so I had to return to the store on a different occasion... and that is when the nightmare began. The owner Christina is completely unprofessional. During the course of my returns for the alterations (I had also bought my bridesmaids gowns and Tuxes from the shop) she had thrown my mother out of the store for DARING to ask for a replacement dress for my sister (her dress came in a size smaller than we requested), made my maid of honor cry (because apparently it was her fault that she ordered the wrong dress; it was supposed to be floor length, the one that came in was up to her knees.) Called my sister fat (because we all know you're obese when you are a size 2) and said that I "ruined" my wedding gown by making alterations to it because even touching a thread is a "diss" to the designer. (I'm so sure the designer cares that I decided to make the dress MY size and added straps for better support). My sister came back for alterations, but all they did was make her dress worse and made her pay for it. Apparently she is too busy talking to her fax machine than to actual customers. As it stands it is the day before my wedding and my sister does not have a gown. She made a huge fuss about how "rude" I was for coming into the store that first day (because apparently you can only come by appointment. Something that she didn't make clear when I walked and and let me look around) and how I'm the worst customer she has ever had. Two days before the wedding, a friend suggested an alternation that would transform it into the perfect gown but I knew it was too late. I called every tailor I knew but no one was willing to help. With 24 hours to go, Abby returned my call. She opened her shop and within an hour, had the alterations done. She could have charged me anything but only charged for the hour's work!
