I honestly never leave reviews because who cares so believe me when I say this - This location is HORRIBLE. We purchased $1300 worth of suits for a local attorney like we do every year and noticed loose threads on a never worn shirt we purchased as well as fabric bleeding where we pulled the size sticker off. After waiting 15 minutes for the store manager Dianne with the horrific set of false lashes to stop gossiping with her coworkers to help us - she never acknowledged us btw. I then went to a gentleman at a different register who was beginning to complete the return when Dianne comes over and said she couldn't see any loose threads as well as she is unable to complete the return without the sticker. She was super condescending and lacked customer service skills. Horrible customer service and you lost a long term customer. PSA to everyone - the quality of the products in this store are not good. read more

I have ordered suits, shirts and tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse. I have ordered shirts from the store and had them shipped to my house. I just called to have them look up a tuxedo shirt I have purchased from them and have it shipped to my house. The girl I spoke to was sooo rude and unhelpful. She flat told me to look it up and order it online myself or come into the store. Absolutely no help and did not even offer to see if it was even in stock in store or if it would have to be ordered online. read more

Today, I bought my first suit in some years. I walked in and was immediately helped by a polite gentleman, Jordan. He was a really genuine person, had the ability to hold a decent conversation and was really helpful throughout the duration of my entire visit. I walked in really unsure of what exactly I was getting and walked out confident I made the right selection. Jordan helped me step by step from suit, to shoes, ties, etc. and exhibited great knowledge about the store, inventory and just overall appearance in suits. It was really nice seeing a well put together store with people eager to help the customers walking in! Aside from the 50+ year old asshat in the Green Bay Packers jacket (whom I hope is reading this). I had a great experience. I applaud GBP jacket-man for trying to make a very ineffective scene about "how much money you spend" and "how you weren't helped in the way you wanted" (due to your own stubbornness) but I do suggest maybe growing up and quit being a *snowflake* (I chose that word specifically because I know your generation loves to throw that word around)... Nobody cares about your money, and maybe learn how to talk to people like they're human. Dirtbag. I'm hoping GBP jacket-man doesn't actually know what the internet is, muchness how to use yelp, but in the event he does, I wouldn't validate any opinion about his visit on the store. Indifferent experience with my husband. Inside was extremely dirty and pins on the ground, stopped counting at 10. Customer service was mediocre, felt like we were reluctant to get help once it was clear we weren't going to get hustled into buying a whole suit set. Terrible...terrible terrible! Anything they could have messed up they did. Sent all of my grooms men's suits to Austin like I had asked them to but one of them. Wedding day came and I find out they left one in Lubbock and had to scramble on wedding day to find a match for my BEST MAN! Was told they would refund me since it wasn't there. WTF is that gonna do?! Bought dress shirts separately from the rentals and needed one 20" neck and was told the biggest size they had was 17.5". I get to the Austin location and they said they have one in Dallas that could be shipped in 3 days!! Day before the wedding I find this out! So I was lied to about a shirt size that could have been ordered from a different store, which I had 2 other dress shirts ordered in from different stores. Needless to say, men's warehouse in Lubbock is terrible and the Austin location saved their ass and my wedding! read more

I have shopped at various Men's Wearhouses through the years for my sons--the Abilene, Texas store is excellent. The Lubbock Men's Wearhouse has proven a frustrating and expensive endeavor. We have now been in four times over incorrectly altered clothing purchased here. The latest is today when I already paid over $100 to alter a suit. It did not fit and, when my son took it back, the staff claimed we had not asked for all of the alterations needed for the jacket and pants to fit correctly . They then charged him over $100 more. I feel like they have a racket going, definitely taking advantage of a college kid. I agree with the earlier comment about the store being messy, as well. But my complaint is with unethical service. We will never shop Men's Wearhouse again. read more

Every experience I had with this store was infuriating. Originally bought two custom suits with the promise that I'd be put in suits that would allow for growth after I finished up college. Turns out I was put in suits that had no room for growth as the seat of the pants was not able to be brought out. Same story with the coat. Then I decided to bring my pants in to have them tailored. They were lost. The tailoring experience was no less infuriating as the tailor would constantly bud in and tell me what was best for me. I'm sorry but I know how I like to wear my pants. She couldn't understand my pants would naturally sit lower than "they're supposed to be worn". This meant all the hems were too long. The final time I brought in a pair of pants I asked for a 2.5 inch hem. Easy right? Well they originally couldn't find them because they were entered under the wrong name by their system. Then, when the pants were found they were again not hemmed all the way up like I asked. When they finally were I picked them up and asked if the store could send a help ticket to resolve the issue of my number being associated with someone else. They said well it's working now so they couldn't help despite it being a reoccurring issue for 1.5 years. They gave me a number to call myself in order to fix it. read more

Had to augment my wardrobe with some new jackets and slacks. Ask for John, he was incredibly helpful. All I had to do was tell him about my tastes and style (or lack thereof), and he set it all up for me. They hemmed and altered on the spot as needed. Gave me very fair prices, too. I didn't feel rushed at all, but within 45 min I walked out looking fit to win a job interview. I'll be back again should the need for more additions arise. read more

We were told to pick up and try on the tux the day before the wedding. When my husband's shirt didn't fit, he asked for a smaller size, and they told him that there was nothing they could do about it. Poor service. One of the ushers for the wedding had pants that were almost to his knees, but when they went to get measured, they were told they didn't need to have his length measured, just his waist. read more

The store is nice, not a big selection- but it does have some options. The "wedding department" for rentals and purchases is unimpressive. Everytime we have been into the store there are multiple associates standing around chatting. We visted the store for ideas for our wedding and figured out that we wanted to order the groomsmen shirts here. We came in and had everyone's sizing and even picked up the shirt we wanted. We then thought we "ordered" the shirts because we paid for all of them. 2 weeks later I called to check because they were suppose to be in within 1-2 weeks. There was no order for our shirts and no one seemed to have a clue about what was going on. A few days later I got a call from someone stating the order never was made and that they ordered the shirts that day- "they should all be in by Friday". Friday came and no shirts. The following week I got a call the some of the shirts were in and by the end of the week we had all of them. THANK GOODNESS that our wedding was 2 months out- The staff is not very professional and this store needs more organization. I really wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

They have a great deal where they will press your MW suits anytime. Sometimes the customer service isn't the best, but it is a good place for quality suits. read more

Suit was fine and the price was right but the alterations were all screwed up I ended up having to get everything redone. Not to mention the alterations on the jacket were meant to cost me more because they took it in by the shoulder rather than by the cuff which ruins the fit. Just buy your suit there and get it altered by a stand alone shop. read more

Terrible.... they don't like it if you come in with a budget.... you can get way better service elsewhere AVOID.

I would not use them if you have to have your tux on a specific date, because it will not arrive on time. And, it gets in at the last second when there is no time left for alterations. They act as if you you be thrilled about their rude and obnoxious service. They act as if you are a terrible bother. If you are not forced to use them because that is where the groom set up the wedding tuxedos, then find someone else. read more
