Expensive tux rental. On first visit given wrong tux. On second, found trousers too short and shirt too small. Promised trouser tailoring - they were to call when ready. No call. Picked up tux on third visit, no trousers in bag. Fourth visit, suit complete (except the original issue of no shirt available in correct sleeve length (they offered to shorten jacket sleeves so shirt sleeves would be visible - visible but still 2 inches short). A laughable experience at a premium price. Regrettable. Two weeks later, 05/16/25, I received an email notification that my trousers are now ready. read more

Had to do some digging to find this place way out there and because I had purchased a suit right before I moved to the Low Country it was only fair to find the same business to do a small alteration to the waist that had shrank about an inch. When I got to the store the guy in the back was very dismissive and told me he was helping another customer that was trying on something in the dressing room, so I asked if they did alterations and his reply was "when do you need it? it will take two weeks" and he proceeded to call someone else from the back room. Second person was much nicer, took measurements, collected the money and promised it would be ready when I had requested. Two days, not two weeks. Thank you! The pants were ready as promised and they had done a perfect job, no more donuts for me, they may not be able to do it again and the other store in the Low Country does not provide this service. read more

Will certainly be happy to return to this location. My husband has a suit from them he purchased years ago that he needed tailored. When he arrived he was greeted by Jamal, a well dressed, professional that happily answered all of his questions. He worked with my husband so that he was confident they knew what he wanted done and proceeded with the measurements and markings. This wasn't a lengthy process either and he was finished within 20 minutes. Even better was the well communicated date for when his suit would be ready for pickup. He can't wait to get it back within a couple weeks and try it on. All this was made better by a fantastic price for the services rendered. Had very professional service here previously. Bought a few suits over the past few years and even purchased my son's wedding tuxedo here. It has been my go-to place for the last few years. Always had great service until my latest 3 visits (over a span of about 4 days). Granted, it was during prom season and they were busy. But, I went into the store three times to try to buy a suit, shirt,tie, etc. and had the person who was helping me be actively directed to stop with me and go in the stock room - multiple times - to bring out rentals for other customers. The guy helping me apologized but it appeared the manager just didn't figure that maybe I had as much need for service to buy a suit as someone picking up their prom tux. My guess is the manager was busy racking up his commissions while the guy trying to help me was low on the totem pole. Finally, on my third visit, I thanked him but left and went across the parking lot to Jos A Bank (a sister store, I know) where I got the kind of service I used to get at Men's Warehouse. Great suggestions, great suit, tie, belt, shirt, even shoes. Same day alterations to boot! This place was at least as busy as Men's Warehouse but their staff was very professional and had a sense of urgency that was lacking at MW (except for the manager's constant verbal direction to the guy who was helping me to go back into the stock room to retrieve orders) Perhaps things will be better at MW after prom season but I know wedding season is upon us so i think I will just go back to Jos A Bank. read more

I was asked to officiate my friends wedding in Dominican Republic and then about a week before the wedding I realized I never asked what the dress code was. The guests were pretty casual because of it being beachside but I was going to be in many of their photos forever so I needed to look the part. I didn't want to match the groomsmen but felt I should compliment a similar style. They were wearing a mix of tan and cream linen with white shirts... very beachy. While they've gotten better about carrying more updated styles, I wouldn't normally choose Men's Wearhouse as my go to for suits but I also knew they would have linen and could likely get it quick. I came in only 20 mins before closing (my bad, I thought they were open later). Roger greeted me and asked if he could help. I apologized for showing up late and he put me at ease that we had plenty of time. I told him what I was looking for and the occasion. Within minutes he had four or five options available. I tried a couple things on and decided on a grey linen pant and matching vest. Whatever deal they had running Roger was able to help me out on the cost and assured me that they would get the right size pant from another store and have it altered and ready to pick up Friday. I was a little nervous about it because I was leaving Saturday but he let me know if I didn't hear from him then everything was on schedule. He also made sure to have me come in for pickup when the tailor was in house just incase anything needed to be changed. The whole transaction went super smooth and not to toot my own horn but I looked pretty fly at the wedding too. read more

The "employee" acted like i was wasting his breath (i probably was he was very heavy set) and inconveniencing while literally checking his watch the whole time. Expensive rental with some weak return the next day policy. Ever heard of a weekend event out of town. Also get out of town and tie is broken. 230 bucks for an incomplete product. When I returned the suit the sales person could not have cared less and offered me a $10 refund for the cheap tie. I should of known better and just bought a suit from Nordstrom. My BF was looking for shoes for his new position at work. We were at the shoe wall and my BF, not being familiar with shopping for dress shoes for himself, wanted to try some shoes. He tried on quite a few pairs and it turned out the pair he wanted was the display. He considered buying the display, but I noticed the coloring of the display shoe and the pair were no longer similar. He then opted to try on another style and likes that one, too. Our sales rep was Chris. He didn't immediately come to see if we needed help, but when we came into the store, he was ringing up a customer. I didn't see, but I think he was finishing up some details for that sale before my BF went to go get him to see about getting some shoe sizes. Chris was super patient with my BF as he asked a lot of questions about each kind of shoe and even explained how different styles might fit different. By the end of it all, my BF considered buying 4 pairs of shoes and I quickly talked him into two pairs as he should start with a brown shoe and a black shoe and in time, he can build on different styles and/or shades later. Chris did talk about shoe polishes and shoe inserts to give shoes their shape if they're not being worn. BF spent an easy $200+ today. Only when he was paying did I catch Chris' name as he answered the phone and said his name. I was okay with that because I didn't ask BF if he gave his name when they first met at the front of the store. Overall, I gave a 5 star review simply because of the time and patience Chris gave to my BF today. BF has had a rough go with building his wardrobe for work and he loathes shopping so I definitely appreciate Chris' help today. The store we had come from right before was a disappointment for BF and he left out of there a bit upset that they didn't have his size so it was nice that BF was able to find somethings here and Chris was knowledgeable about the other stores in the shopping center. I had asked about any pet boutiques in the area and he knew there was one right around the corner. read more

They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all things men's clothing and can answer any questions you have. This was the most awful experience I have ever had at Men's wearhouse. Walter was the rudest employee and made it seem like we were a bother to be here. We witnessed him answer a call and cuss under his breath as he walked away. We initially came to buy a couple dress shirts and a suit but decided to only leave with one shirt because of his horrible customer service. We will not be returning. read more

I recommend double checking their work in the tuxedo rent department at the Mt Pleasant SC location. Various components of 2 rentals were missing and we were also given someone else's rental in addition. It's a good thing we went through the order in the store prior to departure. Also the online listed hours are incorrect. There is a print out taped to the door that they are opening an hour late. read more

To be ridiculed because of a body type and a professional Tailor that does not know how to measure to sit back an say im just Curvey is the reasoning behind they can not get it together is quite absurd. Not reccomended to shop at this location. Your better off at Barnum &Baileys Cirus, thats will be your experience. You will even get a drum roll once you walk out of the fitting room.
