This is by far the BEST Men's WH I've been to , and I've been to many over the years ! The Manager goes Way out of his way to help . I mean I needed the shirts for a wake tomorrow and Monday ( he doesn't know this ) I asked if I could then pressed by tomorrow while the store is about to close . He said he will have it ready tomorrow by 11. I think that's when it opens ... What' he's actually doing is spending. 2-3 hours longer than his shift, to let the press heat up , and do it himself. Went here for my fiancé to buy a suit and set up the rest of the wedding party to rent theirs and had a bad experience . First we made an appointment online and was told they couldn't find it in their system . Salesperson did not ask our names, offer congratulations, or ask about the wedding at all . The system was down so they couldn't set up our online portal with the correct clothing items . When my fiancé was trying on the suit we had to give lots of direction about the alterations such as asking for dress shoes to try on with the pants to get an actual sense for the length we needed . Came here to look at tux rentals for our wedding next summer after looking online and were less than impressed with the experience. Our consultant (older woman--don't know her name because she never actually introduced herself to any of the 4 of us at the appointment...) was rude, unprofessional and not at all personal. We came in hoping to have some help to make my fiancé look and feel amazing on our day and the selection was extremely limited. Our consultant basically told me I had bad taste (even though what I was asking for came from a picture from the men's Wearhouse website) and didn't provide any options. I'm glad I looked at the website before coming or would have been 100% lost. They also did not have samples in different sizes so we couldn't see approximately what it would look like. To top it off, while my boys were in the dressing room, I overheard our consultant yelling at one of the younger associates working about how disgustingly dirty part of the store was. Not exactly what I wanted to hear as a customer. At the end of it all, I think I could have been sold on the mediocre options if the consultant had been helpful and at least a little kind. We will be looking elsewhere and will use this as our absolute backup. read more

I've had some different experiences here, so this rating is an average. The first time we were here, we had a salesperson who was (unsuccessfully) juggling several customers. I understand that it can be hard and would have been fine with another (standing around) associate, but this salesperson didn't ask anyone for help. As a result, even though my son explained what he was looking for, he wasn't heard and was asked unnecessary questions. Once we found a suit to try on, he pointed to the fitting area. He didn't offer a shirt or tie to try on as well and seemed to be rushing us to move along to another customer. Again there were other salespeople standing around, so he could have passed us along to someone who could focus. Once my son got the suit on, we had to stand and wait for the salesguy to return and then we had to ask for the tailor. This isn't my first rodeo, you put the suit on, the tailor is waiting and you get marked up. Not here. When we were finished we got our receipt with "we will call you." After not hearing for a few weeks, we called and went back in. We were told they don't make calls, you just come in. Really? But at this visit we had GREAT customer service! Even though there were a few brides picking out stuff, this guy got us the suit, offered extra shirts and ties and waited for son #2 to come out of the dressing room. He talked about dressing it up/down and really made us feel cared for. It was a totally different experience from the first time. So keep in mind, that YMMV at this place! read more

He made the exchange and pursuit for a new suit that met our sons style easy as can be. After being totally blown off by the team at the Bloomingdale Men's Wearhouse on Army Trail, I headed all the way out to Wheaton for shoes, belt and shirts to go with a suit I had to buy (purchased a couple weeks earlier in Bloomingdale). I was greeted by a young man (Ivan I think) who measured me (big neck and shoulders, smaller waist, tough to fit) and found me three perfect shirts, shoes and belt. Tremendous service. Even had my new shirts pressed and wrapped before I left. He asked lots of questions about the event I was dressing up for and made great recommendations. Phenomenal, consultative Sales Professional. Amazing service! My most recent visit was to pick up a suit I was going to use once for an event and then have it donated. I let the employee working with me, a very nice old gentleman, and he took that into account very well. The fitting process was great, as he took the time to go through details on each one I tried on. He also went through different characteristics different brands offered too. When we found one which I thought was best, we got it marked for tailoring. Two weeks later, I picked up my new suit as scheduled. Nicely wrapped and ready to go. It fit perfect! Best of all, it was only 85 dollars! The quality and comfort of it matched that of many I had paid way more for before. I'm confident after my event that the next user will find the suit to be an amazing one. Only negative to the place is that if it gets busy, you'll have to wait quite a while to get assistance. I am a 70 year old senior citizen who has shopped at Men's Wearhouse for decades. I had previously been very happy with the products and service which is why I returned. This time I visited the Men's Wearhouse at the Wheaton location for the first time to purchase a new suit on May 11, 2021. I was waited on by Alan the store manager who was nice enough and appeared to be very knowledgeable. I purchased a new suit for $356.00 which is a great deal of money for a senior citizen on a fixed income. The suit coat was in stock but the trousers needed to be ordered in from another location. It all went well enough. Two days went by when I received a voice message that my trousers had arrived and to come in ASAP. I drove to MW the very next day and was greeted by a lady after several minutes. Not a problem as she was finishing up with the two gentlemen before me. It became my turn, I gave my name and the saleslady proceeded to look for my order. Long story short, about twenty minutes goes by and she is still looking for my clothing. Turns out my order was under the wrong name even though I handed Alan my driver's license to make certain he had the newest correct information. First rule of retail is make certain you have your customer's correct information. After my clothing was ultimately located, a gentleman came out and started talking to me in a heavy accent. I had trouble hearing and understanding him perhaps partially due to my age. He turned out to be the tailor. I tried to tell him the pants seemed very large as I take a size 38 and had on a size 42 which was falling off, (I thought I remembered we ordered a size 40 from another location but I suppose I could be wrong). The tailor marked up the coat and pants and we identified a pickup date. I asked if we were all done and the saleslady asked how I wanted to pay for the alterations. Good grief, I thought I had already paid for the alterations when I bought the suit! So another $118.00 for alterations... what a shock! I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised at this point. Overall what started out as an O.K. experience quickly deteriorated based upon not recording my correct information, the inability find my order, the likelihood the pants ordered are the wrong size, the fact I had trouble identifying the tailor and difficulty understanding him, and finally the surprise of the additional $118.00 for alterations. All in all very disappointing to say the least. read more

You would think that a company advertising "the best men's clothing" would in turn have the best customer service. If you did, you have thought wrong. The customer service here is horrendous. I got refitted for my suit, as I had out grown it. We were told that with the material left, the pants would be a little short. I was fine with that. 2 weeks go by and it's time to pick up the suit. We arrive to find out that they have not even started on the suit, stating that the pants would be short. We had known this. The manager was really snobby and rude. He made it out to be our fault that they hadn't done their job. My family will never bring our business here again, and I urge you all the same. read more

I wasn't a regular shopper here, but knew they had great "sale" prices and tall sizes. I stopped in for a shirt the morning of a wedding and took advantage of their 3 for $99 sale. I found a blue 18-1/2 neck / 38-39 sleeve length in stock and order 2 other colors that they shipped to my home for no additional charge. After wearing the shirt I realized the mid section of the shirt was too big and returned to the store to exchange the other two for a smaller size, realizing I may not be able to button the neck on these smaller sizes. That's when things went from okay to great. A different salesman, Peter Stahulak, listened to my problem and directed me to a different brand shirt that was tapered in the body. It was still available in the long 38-39 sleeve length, and fit great. I was so happy with a perfect fitting shirt and professional attention to detail that I tried on a suit for the heck of it. Peter went through the inventory and made his recommendations. I ended up purchasing one off the rack suit and had a second one custom made. Peter is the sole reason for this and without his knowledge and understanding of the product, I don't believe this would have happened. Thank you, Peter, I love both suits and recommend anyone looking for knowledgeable salesman ask for YOU. My wife and I are headed out for dinner tonight and I'll be wearing the blue suit! I went in today with a coat that I had purchased there 5 years ago. The seam needed resewn on the coat. I asked if it could be taken care of there and how much it would cost. I was greeted immediatelty by John and he said he would take my coat in the back and ask the tailor. He came back with my coat and said they may need to add some more liner to the coat, and I could pick it up friday. I asked if he had an estimate of the cost, and he told me that it would be taken care of. What a GREAT experience! I have always had excellent service at this men's wearhouse! read more

I don't shop here regularly, but have rented prom tuxes and bought suits for my husband and sons. (To clarify, my husband did not, in fact, go to prom. Well, he did in 1984, but...) Anyway, recently we bought the suits for my son's wedding here. My husband has a hard-to-find shoe size, and since MW had sent us a $50 coupon, I headed over there yesterday to see if they had wedding shoes. My son told me that if Orlando is there, tell him hello. Apparently, he is "the man." Alas, Orlando was not there. However, I was helped by Stanley. Now, Stanley - he truly is the man. He could not have been more accommodating and helpful. He provided that old school service, even wearing a measuring tape around his neck. He brought me several options and never tried to talk me into anything. I found a great pair, and he reassured me that if they weren't perfect MW has "the best return policy in the world." My teenage son needed a suit for a family wedding. He is difficult to shop with because he never feels like anything fits him properly. I really liked that we were immediately greeted when we came in the door and were lucky enough to work with Stan. He talked to my son directly most of the time making him feel very comfortable. He measured him and then selected a variety of styles of suits for my son to try. Unfortunately suits ended up being out of our price range. Never fear - Stan found us a beautiful sportcoat and made sure we got it at a price we could afford. My son was quite pleased at the fit and the ease of shopping here with Stan. Started our wedding tux rental here. Got the account set up for all groomsmen with Diana. She was very accommodating, sweet, and helpful without being pushy. Everyone else there was okay. She was very helpful in choosing colors that matched, finding bow ties, and changing our order a few months later when we changed our mind on pieces of the outfits! She never got upset or annoyed and always acted professionally. The tux was in early and they called to tell us such. I would recommend coming to her specifically to get things sorted out for your wedding! She is genuine and helpful! read more

I called yesterday to see about if they had an onsite tailor, since my son as an event in a few days, then a moving on ceremony the next week, and possibly a family wedding coming up too. Isaac helped me on the phone and answered all my questions. When my son and I went to the store, we asked for Isaac and he was great with my son. He asked for my son's feedback and helped find him a suit. Once my son was taken care of, I looked at suits for myself because there was a buy one get one free sale on. When I received my undergraduate degree and got my first job out of college, the company that I worked for required that you wear a suit. So I have been wearing suits for a while (my son would say that I'm old). Most of my suits were made by Hart Schaffner Marx, but unfortunately, they are out of the suit business. Isaac listened and ended up selling me a suit too. I ended up going with a suit that is outside of my normal, but still appropriate in a corporate setting. I am very pleased with my purchase and I can't wait until I can go back and pick it up. His input was appreciated and his patience too. I interacted with other employees at the store and they all seemed very personable and professional. I found out that one of the employees, who answered my question about pocket squares, has his gamer tag as a monogram in his suit. My son and I thought that was cool. Lastly, the tailor was able to do my son's alterations the same day, since he only needed minor adjustments. I highly recommend this store. read more

We had a great experience here suiting up the men for our wedding. We had to choose a national chain because 3 of our 4 groomsmen lived out of state, but it ended up working out great. We went in and setup our whole wedding party, then the men went in when they had time and got fitted and ordered their tuxes. We didn't want vests, and chose somewhere between the best and the worst tuxedo they have, and it ended up being just over $100 a rental, which I thought was quite reasonable! The ladies who helped us went through every single detail to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, and didn't try to sway us from the non traditional look we wanted (black suits / black shirts black ties for the groomsmen, black suit / black shirt / purple tie for the groom). They were tedious in ensuring the groom's fit was perfect, which I appreciated, and all the tuxes ordered were shipped to this location for easy, convenient day-before pickup. The men looked fantastic the day of! The rental agreement forces you to return them all the following day, which is annoying because boys are disorganized (hi, I'm returning tuxes...so this pile is suit #3... This pile is suit #4...) and we were colossally hungover on return date, because we had just gotten married. Ugh. But, they dealt with our incapacitation well and didn't charge any of them for missing odds and ends (we found 3 cuff links and a pair of suspenders in our apartment well after drop off... oops). Though I'll likely never have to go here ever again, id recommend them to a bride to be who wants a simple, easy tux-rental experience! read more

Worst most condecending service I have ever received anywhere! I recently purchased a white dress shirt for my husband to wear at a wedding at the end of this month. Since the purchase we found a better quality shirt at Nordstrom Rack. When I went to return the shirt at Men's wearhouse the young man at the register accused me of having my husband wear the shirt with all the tags on it and returning it!!!! All tags on it and I had my receipt from purchase. I said that he must be mistaking and he was extremely rude! My husband literally just tried it on and hung it on a hanger until I returned it. They eventually returned the shirt, but I have never been so upset leaving a store before! Will never shop here again and will not be recommending this store to anyone! read more
