Thank you Mary! Took my 5 year old cat to get groomed for the first time. He was aggressive as it was new to him but Mary handled him well and he even closed his eyes and relaxed a little towards the end. Shes very good and my cat looks so cute/funny! Mary talked to me about a grooming regime for him as well. I'm very thankful! She was very sweet to him.
A bit pricey, but worth every penny! I love that this place is specifically for CATS ONLY. And no anesthesia is used! Parking: YES! Located right behind a car wash. I brought my cat (Cheddar) to this place because I believed he had fleas. And in fact, he did! This location is very small, but you can tell everything is handled with a ton of love and care. Mary (the owner) makes the effort to make your cat feel as comfortable as possible. I was very impressed that she took the time to greet Cheddar when we arrived. You can tell she loves what she does! (or I hope so lol) She will text you once she is done with services, so no need to stay the entire time. Make sure to search the surrounding area for places to eat while you wait! Cheddar came out with a fresh (lion) coat, looking and smelling amazing! Will definitey return and recommend her to my friends! A slight language barrier, but I know Cheddar is in good hands!
We took Fluffy, a neighbourhood cat who is about 20 years old, to get groomed after a tenant in my building reported him as a stray. He was very dirty and flea-ridden, and he has a few health issues, but without being the owner, I did not feel entitled to intervene on his behalf until that point. Mary was so amazing--we came by accident on a day that she was closed. Still, she opened the door for us and spent over 2 hours patiently tending to Fluffy, who was afraid and sensitive, very non-compliant at times. He was so much happier afterwards and able to embody his name as a glowing golden fluff (the last picture is a before-photo). Thank you so much! Meow Cat Grooming is a special place and Mary treated Fluffy with dignity and tenderness.
Mary is truly a cat whisperer. From the moment I arrived with my two exotic short hair cats, her calm, nurturing energy completely put my cats at ease. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and intuitive, it honestly felt like she was doing Reiki on them. I've never seen my cats so relaxed during grooming. Mary works with such respect and care for animals, and it shows in everything she does. I can't recommend her enough if you want someone who treats your cats with genuine love and understanding
As a crazy cat mom--stop your search here! This is THE ONE! At first, I was taken aback by the detailed requirements on her website. I thought, This lady might be way too strict--maybe even a mean Karen. But I couldn't have been more wrong. She's the sweetest little Korean lady, and one thing is certain: she LOVES cats and is absolutely GREAT with them. I may have lucked out because my cats were the only ones there, which is amazing. I have two cats, so I'm sure they kept her hands full, but I loved that it's just her running everything--no assistants or chaos. The place is spotlessly clean. I have diagnosed OCD, and trust me, if I say it's clean, it's immaculate. This was my first visit, and she immediately stood out from other groomers. Instead of barely glancing at the carrier and chatting with me like most places do, she took my cats straight to the back, placed them on the floor, got down on the floor with them, and gently opened the bag to greet each one. She took the time to get a feel for their personalities firsthand, which I thought was so thoughtful. After all, no matter what an owner says, you won't really know how a cat will behave until you interact with them yourself. My Persians are super chill, so they just peeked their heads out at her curiously--but I loved how she handled the introduction. She clearly knows what she's doing! The grooming process took about three hours for both cats, which was great. I waited in my car and didn't mind at all--I just scrolled on my phone. Next time, though, I'll probably head home since it's only a 10-minute drive each way. When I picked them up, I was stunned. She was holding my older, more skittish cat like she was the most relaxed, everyday lap cat. I can't even hold my own cat like that! She told me that my nervous cat doesn't like the grooming table, so she figured out that holding her and working on the floor in her arms and lap made her much calmer. That level of attentiveness and care blew me away--most groomers wouldn't bother to accommodate a cat like that, let alone think to try. She even noted it in her system to remember for next time. As for my boy Persian? No special notes needed--he's easy and was a breeze for her to groom. I can't believe I hadn't found her sooner. What initially drew me in was her advertisement for no anesthesia grooming. I didn't think anyone used anesthesia, but my last experience at a Koreatown groomer proved me wrong--my cats were strange and lethargic for days afterward. After today's grooming, my cats came home perfectly normal, happy, and hungry! No weird behavior or after-effects whatsoever. Pricing was very reasonable: $150 per cat, which is about what I expected since I keep up with their grooming regularly. I was worried she might charge more since it had been a couple of months, but she didn't. I tipped $50 on top of the $300 because she earned every penny. This groomer is the real deal. Her personality, skill, and ability to communicate with cats are unmatched. She understands that cats need to be worked with, not against--a huge contrast to those who handle cats like dogs, which only terrifies them. I've dealt with chaotic dual groomers that take dogs and cats at the same time, and I can't tell you how relieved I am to have found a calm, quiet, clean place where my cats feel safe. If you're a cat parent who's as picky as I am, stop looking. She's the one.

Mary is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She gave me advice for home maintenance routines and insight into why indoor cats need grooming maintenance regardless of fur length. In the beginning, I loved the consultation process with our cat Pax, she was patient and observant and read cat body language very well. At the end I could tell my cat enjoyed his pampering time. Pax looks amazing and smells amazing. We choose a bath only option. His fur is soft, clean, and well groomed. Very thorough! Her salon is adorable and cat friendly. On first impression alone I knew my cat is in trustworthy hands. I loved that she sent me a couple photos of him in the bath with a towel on his head. It was a special detail that highlights how she goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. I would recommend this place to any cat owner looking for grooming services. My cat seemed to enjoy his time. Unless we move cities we plan on returning regularly.
We've been bringing Merlin to Meow Cat Grooming since 2019. Mary has such a way with cats it's incredible - I like to think Merlin enjoys his visits. He doesn't make a fuss upon arriving to Mary's studio. Merlin leaves looking so handsome and smelling absolutely wonderful! He's a whole new boy when we pick him up. Highly recommend bringing your cat to Mary!
We were a little hesitant on getting our cat groomed, since he's been having sensitive skin/fur issues. So thankful that we were able to find Mary, she was absolutely fantastic and we now have someone to go to consistently for all our cat grooming needs. Immediately she knew how to respect our cat and gave us her advice on the type of services that our cat may need, even if it was the cheaper option. There was only one other cat there that was getting dried, and since our cat is a little territorial, she was able to gain his favor by taking out a churu treat to calm him. When we came back to pick him up after 1.5 - 2 hours, he looked great and we could tell from his tail and his walk that he felt very comfortable there. He's been sleeping so much better after the grooming session and we are so grateful for this service.
This is the only place I trust to take my cat. She does any amazing job reassuring my cat and makes her feel comfortable before getting started. I was very nervous getting my cat groomed as she is a very anxious cat. But the care that was taken with my cat made me feel comfortable to leave her. And her haircut came out so nice! My cat was happy and so was I.
I have tried a few cat groomers and I keep going back to Meow Grooming because they are the best. Most cat groomers just want to shave my cat. They have nicked my cat by rushing, cut way too short or you must book at least a week in advance. They may be cheaper or faster with mediocre results. Meow Grooming is different. She provided a safe and loving environment. I showed her pictures of what I do or don't like and she listened! She took her time, used scissors and a clipper in order to give the kitten cut look that I wanted. My cat and I are both happy.

LOOK NO FURTHER!! My senior Maine Coon is underweight (she's on thyroid therapy), and unable to groom herself. Although I brush her every day, the fur closest to her skin was starting to mat all over her arthritic body. I was so nervous to get her groomed, but the moment I walked into Mary's sparkling clean and Zen-like salon, all my worries went away. Mary is fantastically skilled with cats. I gave my cat gabapentin two hours prior to her groom, but Mary's calm approach and gentleness were paramount with Roux La La having a successful experience. Roux La La got a much needed Lion Cut, which has made such a difference in her comfortability. Mary was so patient and talked so gently to Roux La La throughout the groom. Your time, money and peace of mind are well spent with Mary's expertise. We are so relieved to have found her through these wonderful Yelp reviews. They speak for themselves. Mary is just THE BEST! Mary and the other girl working here do great work!! (apologies I never got the second girl's name T_T) I've been taking my kitty here for almost a year, every 3-4 months for a brush and wash for long hair since she won't let me brush her out myself. I also get a sanitary trim for her too :) I've never gotten her fur cut/trimmed here, so I can't comment on that, but love the work otherwise and would continue to come back! read more

Mary was amazing. She was so sweet with my cat Gogo. She got him out of the carrier onto the fur rug, and he was immediately so relaxed with her. She did an excellent job! She removed all the matting he had, trimmed his uneven fur, and shaved his tummy. He looked and smelled great, and he's still super soft almost 2 weeks later! Yes, it's pricy but she didn't charge me extra for the matting, and honestly, the cost is so worth it for how great of a job she did! I will absolutely be back the next time he needs to be groomed. read more

My sweet boi was so handsome and clean and fresh! He was no longer crying (we just came from the vet) and you could tell he was so much calmer after his bath and cut. Took less than an hour! Based on his demeanor after, you can tell how patient and thorough his experience was. Will 100% be back again. Incredible customer service. And cats only!!!! read more

This the BEST cat groomer I've been to! The owner is so sweet and extremely good with cats. My kitty boy is usually a scaredy-cat but he was super relaxed even when he first walked in to the place. Clean and organized - there is only one cat at a time and we even played with my cat for a while outside at reception before getting him groomed. He seemed super happy afterwards too! So clean and fluffy! Highly recommend. :) * For those saying that the owner doesn't pickup - you can text the number listed or book directly through the website. This is a one-person kinda place and she's busy grooming kitties all day, but the online booking system is super easy! read more

We took our cat Lyuka to this groomer and he was very well cared for! It was his first time, and we learned that he didn't like clippers, but the groomer was very patient with him and finished the cut beautifully using scissors. When I picked up Lyuka, he was very calm and comfortable. This groomer is incredibly kind, and knowledgeable- and takes great care of your cat! read more
