This salon was much more affordable than the other 2 salons I was looking to book at. I had originally made an appointment at a salon closer to me but decided to give Sasha's a try as I've driven by it so many times and the pricing was much more reasonable than the other place (the other place quoted me $135 for a xs dog's haircut). Sasha's was $40 less and they don't pressure you into leaving a tip like Petco/Petsmart. I even ended up buying a large bag of treats for my pup AND they also gave him a small bag of freeze dried snack and a toy on the house. I was genuinely worried as this was my 6mo's first grooming session and was nervous about how he'd behave as he can get a little bite-y. Bobbi, from the moment I reached out about the appointment to sharing my concern, was great with communication/assuring me that they were going to be just fine. He was calm & relaxed after the appointment so I know they took good care of him. He almost looks like AI with how perfect he looks. Will definitely be returning for his next haircut!

She called and asked me again and I said to not use flee shampoo because my dog takes medication . I informed her several times about not using flee shampoo and during all times she said she would not be using it. Had she said she couldn't accommodate my dog's needs I would had taken them somewhere else . She returned my other dog with her eyes irritated and has a cut in her eye . I asked her what they had done to her and she said she didn't know . My biggest issue is that they don't listen to instructions or notify you if they injure your dog . I understand accidents happen but I should had been notify so I can take my dog to the vet right away .upon taking my dog to the vet I was informed she has a cut in her eye and all of my dogs lashes where cut off during grooming which I didn't ask for . My elderly dog is traumatized after coming back from here . I'm not sure what they did to her but i would stay away from this place .

My old pup Cloud (a black Yorkie Terrier) absolutely adored her, and for years, his photo was actually the face of this Yelp page. This was my first time bringing my new pup, Naruto (a 4-month-old Toy Poodle), since Cloud passed earlier this year. I was a little nervous because I noticed the recent wave of negative reviews under the new ownership. That said, I still wanted to give them a chance -- partly out of loyalty to the space and partly to see how they'd handle a puppy's very first haircut. Booking was a little confusing (we had a small miscommunication about the time), but they were still able to take Naruto when I arrived. The vibe was definitely different from before -- a lot more businesslike and less warm or chatty -- but not unfriendly. Just a shift in tone. The cut itself, though? She did a great job. I asked for a teddy bear cut and explained that Naruto's coat is still in transition since he's so young, but she really nailed the shape and proportions. He looked adorable when I picked him up. She even complimented him, saying he was a smart dog and did well for his first grooming, which I appreciated. The price has gone up ($70 vs. $55 before), but for a solid first-time puppy grooming, I was satisfied. While I do miss the warmth of the previous owner, I can't deny that my dog looked GREAT and was treated with care. I'm glad I brought Naruto here for his first cut -- it felt full circle after so many visits with Cloud.

What concerns me most is that I was not contacted before such a drastic change was made. My dog regularly gets groomed and never had issues with matting in the past. If there were issues like matting that required shaving, I would have expected a text/call to discuss options first, especially for a double-coated breed. After reaching out to understand what happened, I didn't receive any follow-up or resolution.

Parking is difficult with just one spot in front of the store, but if I'm in a jam I park at the auto shop next door, and they don't seem to mind, esp. since it's only for ~10 min at most. They also sent me pics (small fee) and were responsive to emails during the day as I checked in on the cats. I have one cat who is so skiddish and even he allowed them to pet him during his stay. They have a complete separate room/area for cats. There are one or two spots in front. Thankfully the times I went I was able to quickly park there; because that particular area is nearly impossible with parking.

I brought my dog in for a 3:30 p.m. on the 5th of September 2026 for a grooming appointment with photographs showing the exact haircut and pattern I wanted. I was very specific. After I left, I received a call saying there was some matting around his NECK and that they needed to cut that area a little shorter. There was NO matting on his head. I agreed only to the neck being cut a little shorter and made it clear that I did NOT want his coat taken very short. I was specifically assured that it would "definitely not" be skin-short. I also gave one very clear instruction: DO NOT CUT HIS HEAD SHORTER. I was told okay. My phone automatically records incoming calls, so there is a record of exactly what was said. When I returned around 5:20 p.m., I was horrified. What they had done was completely contrary to the photographs I brought and the instructions I gave both in person and over the phone. This was not a misunderstanding, and it was not a situation where my dog was matted all over and they had no choice. The matting they called me about was around his neck. I gave limited permission to shorten that area. I specifically said not to take the rest of him too short and not to shorten his head. They did it anyway. What concerns me just as much is the conduct of the person at the front reception. At 21pooch, the receptionist receives the owner's instructions and communicates them to the groomer. When I confronted them, she began claiming that I had said things online and during our phone conversation that I never said. Because my phone automatically records the calls, I know what was and was not said. If you are the person standing between the owner and the groomer, you cannot decide which instructions to communicate, which to ignore, and then attribute statements to the owner that were never made. When I asked to speak with the groomer who worked on my dog, the receptionist was also hesitant to bring the groomer out. That made me seriously question what the groomer had actually been told. These are PEOPLE'S ANIMALS. They are family. A dog cannot defend himself or tell the groomer, "That is not what my owner asked you to do." The process depends on the person receiving the owner's instructions communicating them honestly and accurately. Nothing is more important to me than my dog. I know his personality and how he reacts, which is exactly why I brought pictures and gave specific instructions. Since coming home, he has been visibly unhappy and withdrawn and will barely look at me. My apartment also gets extremely cold, which was another reason I did not want his coat taken this short. I have respected 21pooch in the past because of how they treated my dogs, but this experience has completely damaged that trust. If an owner provides photographs, gives explicit instructions, repeats those instructions during a phone call, and is assured they will be followed, those instructions need to be followed. I even asked explicitly for them not to cut the tail but they still did it anyways. And mind you the tail was not mated. The hair on the legs are uneven it's been a couple of weeks I'm still waiting for it to even out This was not just a bad haircut. It was a complete breakdown of trust.
