I called on a Monday to book a stay for the upcoming weekend for two nights. The next day found out trip had to be postponed due to covid and called immediately to cancel the reservation I had just booked 24 hours ago. Because their policy is that a reservation must be cancelled at least 10 days prior, I would not be able to recover my 50 percent deposit (of $55). I understand the policy, but many businesses allow a grace period of at least 24 hours, or at least issue a credit to the account. Also, I'm glad it was only a two night stay/$55 deposit and not more. This is the first time I've ever had to cancel but sadly I won't be returning so as not to have this happen again, which I mentioned to them but got no response.

When touring Indian Bridge Kennels, he took his time investigating everything and stopping to greet all the staff as we came into their areas. Indian Bridge was the closer of the two kennels he liked. So we tried it first and have never had to go anywhere else. He loves the day camp and has even not wanted to leave with us if we pick him up before their last outing of the day. The staff answers how his day was (did he play, sunbathe, or insist on individual loving from the staff). Usually there is a note on the receipt as to how his day went. We have left him on a few overnights. He is always happy and well when we pick him up. I leave his overnight package with directions of his schedule and have never had a problem. One time an employee called, quickly let me know Snoopy was fine and went on to say she had noticed our written instructions had changed from past visits and wanted to confirm the change. You can't ask for better then that!! Much like a parent who has a child in a good school, we made a decision not to move to another area based mainly on keeping Snoopy in his favorite daycare!

When my husband retrieved him, they had completely shaved all of his hair except his head. He looks completely ridiculous. He went in looking like a show dog and came home looking like an alien. The next day I combed out his beard. The one thing they did do was his nails. Except now he won't allow us to touch his paws. That typically means there was likely trauma involved. We fully know that his coat is thick and somewhat wooly, but it brushes and combs out without huge effort, some effort, but not extraordinary and he enjoys being brushed and combed. They should have phoned us before shaving him. The difference of how he looked before they "groomed" him is earth shattering. Now our beautiful boy isn't so beautiful.

The staff was friendly and the price was right. They also offer exit baths and grooming for an extra charge. If you blink you will miss the turn. The only problem we had was that they only accept cash or check. We didn't know that beforehand so I had to run back out another 20 minutes to find an ATM. I didn't even think to ask that ahead of time because in this day in age you would think that everybody would accept a card. Knowing that next time we will bring cash!
