7/5/25 What a great find in the fair city of Upland! Meow Tea ‍ My friend Ray Ray & I were looking for a refreshing place to grab some milk tea & this was a good spot. The young lady who took our order was nice & friendly, efficient. The shop is cute with cat themed decor. Got the matcha milk tea with crystal boba--yummy! Half-sweet is the way to go! It opens late but stays open late, usually 2pm to 11 pm. Parking is free & is shared with other businesses. read more

I love how cute everything here is. It's cat theme down to even the menu's cute names for things. This visit we only came for drinks as we already ate. I had to get the Meow Tea Special because of its pretty colors. Luckily it's more than just for looks, it tasted very good as well. It's not too heavy so it was easy to drink. I forget which flavors it comes in, but I recommend giving it a try if you're not sure what to get from the menu or if you're looking to try a new drink. If you plan to go here a few more times, remember to ask for a stamp card because they do not automatically give it to you. They also have a promo where if you leave a comment on Yelp, you get a free topping. Service was very quick, and for those with social anxiety, there's a kiosk to order as well and the lady is very patient while waiting to see which drinks you need made. This is such a cute, small boba shop tucked away in a small plaza, and I love everything about it. First off, I really appreciate that they're open until 11:30 pm -- most boba places close at 8, so it's nice to have a spot I can count on for a late-night milk tea fix around 10 pm. The cat theme is adorable and so well done. Even their loyalty cards are cat-themed -- you only need to go 5 times to get a free drink, and they stamp your card with little paw prints. It's small touches like that that make me happy to support a local small business. So far, I've tried their brown sugar boba fresh milk tea (not pictured), the Meow Tea Special, and the passion fruit tea. I highly recommend the Meow Tea Special -- not only is it beautiful, but it tastes amazing too. The brown sugar and passion fruit teas are also great -- simple, classic flavors done really well. It's a small shop, so they don't have a huge menu, but honestly, I don't think they need one. They nail the classics, and that's what matters to me. I'd recommend this spot to anyone passing through or anyone local who's tired of driving 20-30 minutes just to get decent boba. Meow Cafe is one of the few boba shops that is open late. They have a self service kiosk that is very user friendly. If you prefer to pay with cash you can head to the counter. The drinks are very good. We tried the taro slush and milk tea. There is some seating inside and the ambiance is great if you're meeting up with friends. Parking is ample especially later at night. The worker who helped me was very friendly and even though there were a couple people ahead of me the drinks were prepared quickly and I was on my way. read more

A cute little place for boba. Reasonable price and good drinks. We tried the passion fruit tea with half sweetness and Hokkaido milk tea. Both were good and they made the drinks rather quick. One of my Yelpie friends wrote a great review on Meow Tea Cafe conveniently located in Upland. I wanted to offer my support and patronage so I came here on July 4th, 2024, but they were closed. I didn't give up... I've been here twice now LOL. It's a cute cat themed boba shop. It's not too big, but comfortable. It has a couple tables with chairs for dine-in. They sell various milk and tea drinks with some desserts as well. They have one kiosk for ordering or you may walk up to the counter and order. You choose! The kiosk was very simple and easy to use. On my first visit, I ordered the Meow Tea Special... it's a very pretty drink... very rainbowish. On my second visit, I ordered 3 drinks... 1 brown sugar milk tea, 1 peach tea, and 1 lavendar milk tea with toppings. All drinks were delicious... just the right amount of sweetness! On both visits, there was just the one gentleman working. He is very nice and pleasant. Please be patient as he may be the only one back there making the drinks. I will definitely return here for more great tasting boba drinks! Btw, when you buy 5 drinks, you get your 6th drink free (card will be given out when you pick up your drink)... WOW... this is a first! Usually, most places have buy 10 drinks, get your next drink free. At Meow Tea Cafe, you're getting two free drinks after 10 drinks... that's a fantastic reward! While I was waiting for my pup at the nearby vet hospital, I chilled out here. It wasn't crowded, had nice cool airflow, staff was masked, so I felt comfortable seated near the door alone at a table. They said bringing my small dog was ok, which was a plus! I was recommended the white peach fruit iced tea, which on the kiosk, had 50% as the lowest sweetness. It was very sweet even at 50% sweetness (for me). Still refreshing! Nice jasmine tea flavor. Next time, I'd request it to be even less sweet at the cashier. They have a soft opening promo for commenting on Yelp, and scored a free taro cake slice (I could choose honey or chocolate as well). Very cute pastel decor-- it's airy. Nice, friendly staff. The wifi is available via QR code at the kiosk. Enjoy this local spot! I sure did! read more

Loved that this place closed late. Stopped by for boba since it was the only place around that opened for an after late dinner drink. Had my initial concerns about It being good since the area itself doesn't really usually have good boba places but meow tea proved me wrong. Not only were the drinks well balanced in sweetness here but the service was very nice. I can't speak for their milk drinks but I would l easily come back for any of their tea drinks read more

I just tried the meow tea special and its so good. I'm so glad i got 50% sweetness because it tastes just the right amount of sweetness, not so sweet nor bitter! I've tried the Hokkaido milk tea before, the 100% sweetness was too sweet for me. I didn't try this cake yet but I'm sure I'll like it because I've tried their cake rolls before and they were amazing!! Im so sad they're not doing the cake rolls anymore (taro, chocolate and honey) those were my favorite cakes to consume whenever I craved any cake :((( Please bring them back :D read more

My daughter and I came here a couple of nights ago. She looked them up and saw it was close by our home. It was a newer business only open about a month according to the nice dude that works at the counter. When you go in, you order at the kiosk. It's a cozy little cat-themed place. We really enjoyed a quiet time here with new drinks and cakes to try. I ordered a Lavender Milk Tea, and my daughter got a Hokkaido Boba Milk Tea, both drinks 50% sugar and light ice. They were super yummy and refreshing as we tried each other's drinks. We also ordered the Taro cakes which came as an order of two. These were light tasting and we loved them. We definitely will be back again and highly recommend you trying this new business. They are located in the same little center as Carl's Jr & Popeyes on the Southwest corner of Foothill and Benson. First off, the interior is nicely decorated and it has an inviting vibe to it. The menu isn't very large, but their drinks are very good. The drinks do take some time to come out after you've ordered, but it's worth it for what you're getting. I've tried every boba spot in Upland, and over 30 spots in California, and I can confidently say that Meow Tea Cafe has the BEST boba pearls I've ever had. I've ordered a taro milk tea with 100% sweetness but personally I'd probably do 50% next time if you're not a fan of sweets but even at 100% it tasted amazing.
