Absolutely incredible restaurant with great food and service. We definitely tried more menu items and loved them but these are the pictures I got. Food is authentic and delicious. I came here on New Year's Eve and thank god we made a reservation because it was packed! We started with the honey and sesame cheese puffs. It was so goooood! Crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside. A perfect balance. We also got the mussels, but they were way too fishy and a bit disappointing. I'd skip this one. :/ We shared the churrasco skewer platter and it was delicious. The steak was super tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Perfect medium. It came with pita bread and tzatziki on the side, Greek fries (really good) and grilled eggplant, peppers, and mushrooms. Definitely enough to share! The drinks were solid. Just ok. Whipped feta was very grainy. Zucchini fritters were soggy. The filet minion I ordered medium rare and it came out extremely well done. No one checked on us throughout the dinner or asked if we wanted to order a second round of cocktails. Food was mid, I would not go back at all. When someone finally came over with the bill and asked how it was I did say something afoot the steam and they were very nice and removed it from the bill. The hummus was bitter, the spanakopita's crust wasn't flaky/crunchy, the souvlaki platter was a joke tbh. The chicken was burnt and dry, there were 3 end corners of tomato and ONE slice of red onion. One of our servers (maybe the manager) was so odd...she gave us a free baklava at the end of our dinner but had strict rules as to when we could eat it. When I saw they offered a platter of meat, I got really excited. It came with 3 different types of meat, chicken, lamb gyro and pork. My favorite was the pork; it was flavorful. The lamb gyro had a bit of dried up meat. The chicken was a bit dry too. The tzatziki sauce was really rich and thick and helped blend it all together. It was a huge platter to enjoy and share. The pita bread that came with the platter was so fluffy and soft, I wish they had more because it was surely not enough. The veggies on the side also add a nice crunch and "healthiness". I place my order online and then saw they have a code for 15% discount when I got home; it was stapled to my order. Which was a bit sad, but it can be used next time. Came here with a friend tonight. The restaurant is beautiful and they did a good job there for ambiance they get a point. We sat it in the back in the patio area, it had a great feel only note was the table was dirty and I cleaned most of it myself before someone noticed and cleaned it. It seemed to just be from the elements outside but still would be nice to have it wiped down when they seated us. The service here was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner. We had the mela salad which was a dip made from eggplant. It was pretty decent and came with good pita bread. I then had a Greek salad and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese. Lastly I had the lamb kebab platter which was a lot of food and flavorful. My friend had the filet mignon kebab which he said was just ok. The restaurant was very nice and comped our dessert a baklava that was a nice way to end the meal. Beautiful Greek restaurant with amazing food and service! The decor is so cute and vibrant, I really felt like I was in Greece! Went here for Sunday brunch at 1:45 and it was surprisingly empty with the exception of maybe 3 other tables. Eleni N was our server. She was sweet and personable and she really knew the menu and made some good suggestions. Drinks: we had the Kir-Yannis, Meraki spritzer, baklava sour, and the mastiha caipirinha. The cocktails were all decent. The spritzer was probably my favorite. Food: we had the grilled octopus and the mussels to start. Both were fresh and flavorful and really good! For entrees I had the Mykonos seafood and she had the branzino. I really enjoyed digging in her branzino lol it was deboned and easy to eat and the capers were an added bonus. The mustard sauce it's served with seems to be like a signature sauce but we didn't feel like it paired well with it at all. We tried to get some melted garlic butter/oil instead but they didn't have it. The Mykonos pasta was pretty good as well. Though I'm not the biggest lover of tomato sauce on pasta and which it was like an olive oil/garlic butter sauce, I did enjoy it. We also ordered the scallops, which we had to get as an entree because it's not offered as an appetizer. This was also really good. They were so fresh and juicy and grilled just perfectly. Somehow I just knew when I stepped in Meraki with its white stucco walls and blue shutters that I was in for an excellent Greek meal. It may also have been because i overheard one of the staffers (maybe a Manager) singing in Greek. I had the Branzino ($50) with a Greek Salad, lemon potatoes and roasted vegetables! The fish was deboned and meaty, grilled perfectly. I love when the skin is grilled crispy with a bit of char. Fantastic!! The Greek Salad was Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!! The dressing so very tasty!! The grilled vegetables fresh and roasted to perfection...you know because the sweetness of the veggie comes through. I was encouraged to try something different for my dessert. I usually do Baklava which I still ordered but in addition, I ordered the Bougatsa! My first time experiencing Bougatsa. Was sooooooo flaky, warm and yummy! The sprinkled powdered sugar and cinnamon reminds me of Ilalian Fried Dough, however, Bougatsa has more to offer with the crème center. The service was incredible. Dimitri, our server, was so accommodating and kind. Dimitri spoke with us about his hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece explaining how he came to receive his name Dimitri. Truly a kind spirit. Ambience was very authentic looking ( blues and whites) . They had a garden area in back but because of weather we ate inside . It was very fine. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming . We got there a bit early about 7 and there was ample room. I had a wonderful typical Greek meal. There was so much we brought most of it home. My son had chicken kebabs, delicious . Again we should a kebab home. The Greek salad was very fresh and enough for two. Meraki is great! Eleni and the rest of the waiters and waitresses are kind, and there is outdoor and indoor seating, often you don't even need reservations. There is a bar too, and a few TVs that usually broadcast soccer and tennis. The food is great, and the menu is a mile big. So many things to choose from, and desserts are great. Cozy place with lots of windows and a closing terrace if it is cold including heaters. Overall, Meraki is one of the best Greek restaurants in New York! read more

The platters of seafood had octopus, shrimp, calamari, salmon, and delicious fish patties. Though touted as a serving for four, this platter could have fed an entire football team, including the O line. Not fearing our future, we also ordered a meat platter, which had an assortment of grilled meats that spared no mercy for all sorts of land animals: beef, lamb, pork--chops and sausage--over a veritable mound of steak fries. Excellent atmosphere and inviting vibe inside; however, the experience was overshadowed by very poor customer service. The young lady behind the bar responded to our questions and requests with noticeable sarcasm and dismissive expressions, which left a very negative impression. In addition, the service was extremely slow. It took an hour for our first of three shared dishes to arrive, and another 40 minutes for the second. By then, we had lost patience and asked for the third to be packed to go. As an apology, we were offered a soggy piece of baklava, which hardly addressed the inconvenience. This is a disappointing way to treat customers, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.
