The Chicken Kalamaki was excellent. It was flavorful and grilled to perfection. For dessert, the Portokalopita (Greek orange cake) was also very good. It wasn't cheap but the food reminded me of my trip to Greece. The orange cake was one of the reasons I chose Let's Go Ya Souvlakia. It's a super sweet dessert but I think I like it more than Greek baklava. I also enjoyed the fresh Greek salad. I did not like the pita bread - oily. I didn't dine in (delivery order) but everything went smoothly. Very professional packaging, neat, clean and organized.

I finally had the honor to try "Let's Go Ya Souvlakia!! I was not disappointed. Michael was very helpful and set me up nicely. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was paired nicely with perfectly seasoned fries! The restaurant also has beautiful patio seating outside to bring friends and family on a nice day!

We ordered from here on DoorDash. It was the first day of the vacation and my daughter and I dis not feel like going to a restaurant, or really anywhere. We each ordered an item and split the items. The Greek salad was very good. The feta was so flavorful and real zesty. The rest of the salad was delicious. The gyro was absolutely smothered in sauce. We dis not ask for this although she paid for extra feta and we dis not receive any. The gyro was still pretty good and the chicken was tasty. I was happy to eat something off the beaten path for me.

I really wanted to like this place seeing as Prospect Heights is severely lacking in Greek restaurants - but the food always tastes too salty, greasy, and overcooked. And the lemon potatoes are also beyond salty. We've ordered from here twice and eaten here once hoping it would somehow taste better in person but... it just didn't. While the spot itself is intimate and bright, with a pay at the counter sort of layout - I wish the food was better.

Ya gets 5 stars for a tasty beef and lamb gyro that was also well portioned for the money. Nice, soft yet not too chewy pita, and they didn't skimp on the meat either - all for $10. Glancing at dishes that were being delivered to other tables, the platters looked tempting too. We elected to eat there since they have indoor tables and outdoor tables on a back patio. The place was not too busy around 6pm and the food came out quickly. The fries with feta could have been crispier, but they were well seasoned and hot so I was happy with them. They came with a side of their house 'Ya' sauce, which to be honest I'm not sure exactly what it was, some sort of mustard aioli, but it tasted good and went well with the fries. We'll be back!

Chicken Bowl with rice and veggies, peppers.

I enjoyed my bowl outside of their "ya sauce" and the very salty chicken skewer however . The rice , roasted veggies and peppers were really delicious . The ya sauce is absolutely the worst sauce I've ever had with a meal . It was so bad I threw it out instantly and took some bbq out from the fridge . The bbq sauce couldn't lift the chicken sufficiently for me to enjoy the meat . It was cooked slightly too much giving it a char which combined with the saltiness really made it borderline avoidable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and is just perfect for the summer vibes . I'd def give it another chance and hope the meat options are better prepared on the next visit if not I can see myself having the veggie bowl once in a blue.

It's like a 7/10. Chicken skewers pita was just ok. The chicken was a little cold and there was too much lettuce in the pita. Sauce was decent. The lemon potatoes were very, very good. Would get those again. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing ‍

I really, really loved this place! The food was so good and FRESH. The lamb and pork in particular were great, and their tzatziki might be one of my faves! They have a lovely backyard patio, but the inside is very cute as well. The staff was super friendly and attentive. 100% would go back!

Ya Piato! Insane amount of food for such a reasonable price

I've walked by this new Greek place so many times and finally decided to pop in. I absolutely did not regret it. The portion sizes are HUGE and the prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. In 2024, a gyro pita is only $10 (with fries inside) and a plate is $18, but has enough protein for about 3 meals. Get the Ya Piato, since it comes with the three gyro meats! Fries were absolutely delicious. Hand cut, crispy and very good seasoning. Everything tastes homemade and delicious. Definitely stop by if you're in the neighborhood!

These feel like the chicken tikka masala or general tso's of Greek food and I know there's a universe of dishes I've yet to try. But these dishes are delicious and I will keep ordering them. I visited at around 10pm on a Saturday night to find the place about half full, with fun decor and white lights that felt way too bright for the time of night. The lights made it feel like they were catering more to a family friendly crowd than for a nightlife crowd, which I suppose makes some sense for Park Slope. Despite the place sitting half empty, our server didn't show up to fill our glasses or ask for our orders for quite some time, and I saw the manager talking to the staff about something gone awry. Our food also took quite a bit to arrive. The saganaki and octopus and beans dishes were stand outs and executed with aplomb. The shrimp and swordfish skewers and spinach rice were quite plain and I would have gladly skipped these dishes had I known. I didn't have a good sense of portions and I wish the server would have guided us a bit more, as we definitely over ordered. While I won't be back, it was a perfectly serviceable meal for the area.

Recommend outside on a hot day 94 degrees. Only one lone ranger was handling all the tables and I think he could have used some help as there were long waits. We ordered a chicken eggplant sandwich which was very tasty but dry needed some type of sauce. I had the lamb kabob and they were good I didnt care much for the seasoning which was on the meat vegetables and the pilaf. We also had a lamb schwerma plate that was very dry and not good. It also needed some type of pita to make it more palatable. The baba/eggplant appetizer was very good as well the pita. I do recommend not leaving the eggplant seeds as they are hard and unpleasant. Maybe a good place to enjoy an outside table wine appetizer but skip otherwise.

It's super cozy inside, and they also give you pillows to sit on. Our server was really friendly and gave us great recommendations. We ordered a few different things to share for our party of two: - Bacon wrapped dates (5/5) so good!!! - Short ribs (5/5) I actually don't usually eat beef but these were so good and not dry. The orzo on the side also balanced it out well. - Kale salad (5/5) This seemed like a simple salad but it was so yummy and dressed well. The pine nuts tasted good with this too! - Vegan fruit sundae (2/5) Sadly this was the only thing that missed the mark. I didn't like the raisins and the almonds didn't really work well with everything but that was just me. The sorbet was also pretty sour. The best thing about this was the white cream on top (it tasted like real cream)
