The entire time I was there the nail technician said no more than 10 words to me. I don't care for technicians who are super talkative but it was a very uncomfortable silence. I was asking her questions to try and strike up a conversation such as how long have you been here, are you the owner, what's a popular nail color? All which were answered in 1-3 word sentences. She sawed back and forth with the file which isn't good because that weakens the nails. My feet soaked for around 2 minutes. Usually it's at least 5-10 at other salons. Next was my gel manicure. Again sawed back and forth. There wasn't a nail soak bath or anything. Which hurt because when she did my cuticles it was very painful! She then proceeded to paint my nails after first applying a gel. I suggested I go wash my hands which she replied" if you want to". It was not a pleasant experience and would definetly not recommend or return.

Probably only needed a partial highlight but instead was charged a full highlight, which I wouldn't have cared if it was done properly! Her stylist was Blair, level 1 stylist. It took her almost 4 hours in total to do a highlight and wash/blow dry. Didn't have time to cut it because it took her so long. She made her hair extremely streaky. You can even tell the size of her brush that she used for bleach. When I spoke to the manager Paige she said "something went wrong and Blair is a good stylist" our experience says differently. Have given this place many chances and there is always issues. Done wasting almost 400 on shitty supercut results. Did get a full refund because of how bad it was. Please be cautious when going to CHEZ ANN SALON!! They don't care about their clients, just money! That's why they have a revolving door of new inexperienced stylists.

True Beauty WNY really is a truly beautiful salon space. This salon is housed in what appears to be…read morea converted house, or perhaps it was designed as a salon all along, because the space flows as a salon so seamlessly. The parking lot has plenty of room. Then up the stairs to the main door on the side of the building, you enter at the desk area. The salon stations on the other side of the room are bright, comfortable and spacious. I was the only one in the salon during the time of my service, but would have felt comfortable here if there was another patron at another booth because they are spaced well. Past the stations is a large back room where I went for my wash. Again, area was very roomy and bright. My appointment was with Tracy, the salon owner. I was running about five minutes late due to icy roads, but Tracy was warm and friendly from the moment I came in the door. I have long, curly layered hair. Believe it or not, it is challenging to find a stylist who is good at cutting curly layers. If it isn't done right, you can very easily come out looking like Dilbert's Alice the Engineer, (look her up, not a good look on me). I had the same stylist for a couple years at JC Penney Salon, but am not comfortable being at a mall during the pandemic, so I took a chance on an appointment with Tracy. And she did not disappoint! My services took just over an hour. That is one indication it is a good haircut, when it takes longer than 10 minutes to cut, and they take the time to dry and style to make sure it shapes well. She asked a lot of questions to learn how I prefer my curls and layers to fall, and did a great job working the scissors through my multi-dimensional mane. I went in with some questions about a particular product line, and Tracy was very knowledgeable about those products. Plus the products I was looking for (DevaCurl) were B1/G1 half off, so yaye! I was going to buy four products, but unfortunately she only had three in stock, but Tracy was so kind to still give me the third product for half-off! I haven't been in a salon in a very long time, and I'm glad that I picked True Beauty WNY to get back in the salon-saddle. The space is updated, clean, and inviting. Tracy did a skilled job with my curly, layered cut. The other stylists were very kind to chat with, too. Parking was easy. Prices for services were on par with what I expected, and the sale on products was a good savings. Oh, and I made my appointment online on True Beauty's website, which was very convenient, to be able to scan all the open time slots and find something that worked best with my schedule. Thanks to True Beauty WNY and Tracy for this great experience--I will be back when it is time once again to tame the mane! :-D

24 minutes ago Went…read morein for a haircut with Amber. After waiting for 42 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment or an apology she started cutting my super frizzy hair without washing it. I asked if she was planning on doing that and she said she would do it at the end. Needless to say, it is SO uneven. I've never had a bad haircut like this because all I get are trims, but I seriously can't believe how uneven and horrible it looks.

Tanisha is a truly gifted stylist who has a very loyal clientele. And for good reason. Any type of hair and any issues, nothing seems out of her abilities. Samantha, my stylist, has been doing what's best for my hair and my style for that whole time. A good listener and full of good advice, these are the things that make her a good choice. Parking can be a bit tricky from time to time. But there are so many restaurants and shops very close by, it's always good to plan a lunch afterwards. If you are considering a new stylist or salon, and especially if you like all natural products, you should consider coming here.
