This is a scam business! They are constantly "changing locations," but neglect to inform their customers. Their phones are always busy, and emailing the owner just gives you the runaround. My wife bought us a package via Groupon for a couples massage that came with strawberries and champagne. It was scheduled for 6pm and we arrived at 5:55p. We were greeted by a nice gal sitting behind a desk that told us to have a seat because they were behind schedule. We sat on a wooden bench in a narrow hallway which is fine if we were there to buy furniture but I would expect a more relaxing waiting area for a spa. We waited until about 6:20p and the lady who greeted us brought us back to a very dark and very cold room with 2 massage tables and 1 chair. We couldn't see much because it was so dark with only a few electronic candles on across the room. We put our clothes on the only chair in the room and assumed we were supposed to just get on the tables. I noticed a round object on a table and thought maybe that is where the strawberries are we were supposed to get. It turns out it was a jar of massage lotion but half used. I figure they had it left over from the last clients and we're hey were going to throw it out so they don't cross contaminate between clients. The air conditioner read 66 degrees and was so loud and disruptive during the whole massage (window air conditioner that kept kicking on and off during the massage). It was already freezing in the room and now without clothes on it was uncomfortably cold. We laid on the very stiff and uncomfortable tables (not much cushioning at all) for a good 15 to 20 minutes just waiting for the therapists to enter. It was about 6:40p when they finally entered and didn't say anything, they just started massaging. The whole time it felt like my therapist was texting. I would feel two hands massaging and then one hand would stop and the other hand would just stay in one spot with very light pressure. I felt an object get picked up from the massage table everytime one hand stopped massaging me and then put back on the massage table and then two hands would resume massaging. This happened repeatedly during the massage. I am led to believe they reuse their heated towels from client to client without washing them. They took a hot towel from their towel warmer and put it on my back. They worked my legs but within a few minutes the towel was freezing (66 degrees in the room) and I was starting to get really cold. No heating pad on the table either. When she finally took the towel off she folded it once and carefully rolled it up. She then walked to the towel warmer and placed it back in the towel warmer!!! Why would you place a used towel in the towel warmer unless you are using it from client to client? When I noticed both therapists were dipping their hands in the same jar that was half used from previous clients, I really knew something wasn't right. I'm assuming it's against some health code and they shouldn't be cross contaminating and dipping their hands in the same jar of lotion from client to client. Their hands and the lotion went right from the jar to our bodies. All I could think about for the rest of the massage is "who's dead skin are they rubbing on me from that jar being used for every client?". My therapist never introduced herself or talked about injuries or anything. She just got right in to the massage and when he was finished she just left, never said she was done or anything. Both my wife and myself felt uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole time. Even the massage itself was subpar and very general, no stopping at knots or working on tight spots, just a quick hand movement with "general" massaging. When we got up after the therapists left the room we noticed it was 7:30p. They hadn't even given us an hour massage and it was supposed to be a 90 minute massage. This was the worst spa experience we've ever had and would never return here nor recommend it to anyone. No strawberries and no champagne. Very unprofessional and not welcoming or relaxing. read more

My wife and I had a very excellent time here! We went here for our one year anniversary to get pampered ! We ordered a 45 minute massage but they actually went a little over time for both of us and even stayed an hour past when they closed for us as well. We really appreciate that! Their facility was very clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and we felt wonderful after our massage. He also received pedicures and my wife received a manicure! First the positives: the massage was amazing! I went for the couples massage Groupon special and was definitely impressed and left very satisfied. Now on to the negative: the scheduling was absolutely HORRIBLE. I was rescheduled to another time a day before I was scheduled (no big deal it happens). The next day an hour before my newly rescheduled appointment I was called and asked to come a couple hours later. We bought the Groupon couples massage and they were absolutely great. My fiancé and I went together and the owner was so nice and professional, she was also one of the ones that gave us the massage. I purchased the Groupon's couple massage for my boyfriend and I. After initially scheduling it, I thought the salon's service was fine. However, the day before my appointment I am called and asked if we could re-schedule the time and I obliged. Then, the day of the appointment I am called again and asked if we could re-schedule the time (later). I found this to be annoying to say the least. We arrive to the appointment for our new schedule and we aren't welcomed or addressed for a few minutes. The receptionist checks us in and says it'll be a few minutes. We're greeted by the massage therapists and taken to the back room. It quiet cold, dimly lit, but cozy. We were told to get ready but we were in our underwear for about 15 min awkward waiting for them to return. Finally, we had the massage and it was WONDERFUL. I just wish the salon would get its customer service prioritized. read more

This place is the absolute worst. DO NOT GO!!!!i waited 6 months to get an appointment. After repeated calling every week, I called Groupon to complain and got a refund. Then with my bad luck, another friend got me the same Groupon as a gift. Again, I called them every week for several months and they don't pick up and you leave a message on their machine and they don't call you back for months. Went for my first and last appointment. I was not greeted when I got there. First, stylist was double booked. She did end up making up for it in pricing, which bumped my review to three stars. It also seemed to be quite the overbooked say as another woman stormed out after waiting extraordinarily long for either a mani, pedi, or both Stylist was extremely friendly, but color job was uneven, leaving blotches in the back and around my hairline in front. These will be corrected the next place I go, but am giving my hair a break in order to not have breakage. I did not try any other services. I was charged $100 for what should have been almost $200 in service (for cut and color) which is still incredible for ho-hum work. read more

My mother, my sister and myself have all called here repeatedly and left multiple voicemails. Not one of us received a call back. My sister however did receive a very rude text message, saying she must not be calling during business hours (which we did). Even if we didn't, messages were still left and deserve a return call. The girl proceeded to be very rude (don't know her name because she didn't state it, which was rude also). Luckily the spa package I purchased will be refunded from the site in which I purchased it. Disappointed! Booked the 1 hour couples massage deal that was on Groupon. Staff was not very professional. Was not greeted when we arrived. Started 25 min late which is ok I understand if you are running behind but then the massage only last about 35min. Staff never read over the paperwork/health history before beginning. Was told we would be offered champagne and strawberries but no strawberries were given. Massage part was ok but would not recommend this place to others. They need to update there address advertised as well! Not easy to find with only a small little pamphlet advertised in the window! read more

These people are terrible. I would never recommend them to anyone. So unorganized and unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment well over a month in advance and they didn't have the courtesy to let us know that they changed their address. Had to reschedule, they gave us a complimentary hour and 30 minute massage after requesting a refund. Had to wait over a month for the new appointment that they offered. Email them the day of the appointment to make sure everything was all set and to re verify address. They advised us that nothing was scheduled and they don't work Tuesday's. They offered to reschedule again, I requested a refund and they never got back to me. I know they had off so they could've easily responded. Had to call groupon for the refund. Like many others, my wife and I came to Tuscana through a Groupon deal for a couples massage. Based on our discussion with the owner as well as our own experience, it would seem that the scheduling issues others have commented on have been resolved through the hiring of a receptionist. My read is that this is just a small business trying to make a go of it and maybe an early miss was blown out of proportion. In fact, the interaction we had before and after our service indicated to me that the owner and staff were both personable and flexible. It seems as though people with negative experiences may have been better served by simply talking to the owner vs. just slamming her on-line after leaving. That might be more of a commentary of our society and it's love for social media more so than such an egregious failure on the part of this business. As for the actual service, my massage was performed by the owner (Jillian) herself. She was VERY knowledgeable in human anatomy and used her unique level of knowledge/education to perform area specific treatment for my particular needs. I'm not sure that level of service can be found elsewhere. If that is a particular need of yours, I'd strongly encourage you to give Jillian a try. On the other hand, if it's something more traditional that you are looking for, might I suggest giving Gabrielle a try. She performed my wife's massage and my wife was very satisfied. You can maximize your experience by simply communicating your desires with Jillian (or her staff). I expect that my wife and I will be headed back to Lewiston for another visit. read more

I purchased a Groupon for the couple's massage in early March. I phoned numerous times for the appt with no one to answer the phone. The end of April I finally got a real person to answer and got an appt which I had to reschedule only to start the same cycle over. NO ONE answers the phone but the message is we are open 11 to 7 w - s a t.. So after leaving nine more messages I never got a call back. DONT Waste your time with this business and she certainly should not be permitted to offer another Groupon deal when she doesn't fulfill the responsibility the first time around. Unfortunately, I had a really, really bad haircut there that I'm still recovering from. I'm not trying to 'trash' anyone, as the salon itself was spotlessly clean and beautiful and everyone was super friendly, but whatever you do, DO NOT let them use texturizing scissors on your hair if you have thick, long, glossy locks. I got my cut done in May of last year and am still having severe issues with breakage and frizz from where my hair was "literally destroyed and killed." I could hear the ripping sound as the scissors were pulled through my back layers. I had asked for volume at the bottom (a la Duchess Kate, but I wound up with volume at the top and super, super thin length a la Jennifer Aniston) and after the first strip had asked her to stop, but she said had to even it out (she was polite though!). I couldn't get an appointment with my normal salon, and Tuscana was great at getting me in for a quick appointment before a big event, but I can say that I will never be going back. The hair is damaged beyond repair and too short to cut off still... My stylist said that those kind of shears should never, ever be used on my hair type (inexperience on the part of the Tuscana stylist?). The front of the cut was nicely structured but the back was a literal disaster. Please, don't let them use those scissors!! So, I'm sorry I had to write this because everyone was so nice, but if you go just beware the texturizing! read more

2:00 pm appointment. Didn't even see a person until 2:10pm then waited another 5 minutes for the last appointment to leave. Our massage started at about 2:30 and ended promptly at 3:15. We bought the couples massage on Groupon. I personally was not a fan at all of the massage I got. My husband said his was "okay". The therapists were nice, but could up the professionalism a bit. The whispering during the massage and throwing of towels was not anything I had happened before in that type of setting. Little things like them asking if we want to turn over in the middle of the massage.. don't ask me, tell me it's time to turn over or better yet ask us at the start what our expectations are for this massage. I drove in horrible weather to keep my massage appointment and even waited around for 20 minutes thinking maybe someone was running late due to weather. What a horrible was to run a business. These ladies are a DISGRACE to the profession and should be ASHAMED of themselves. I am a 15 year, NY State Licensed Massage Therapist, and it is INSULTING to call them "colleagues." I booked a 90 minute couples massage for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our birthdays. Our massages started 20-25 minutes late because one therapist hadn't shown up for work on time. They never introduced themselves, nor did they know our names because they never had us fill out health information forms. We only got about 75 minutes of the 90 minutes that we paid for. The apple wine was delicious, however, it did not go well with the "pumpkin pastry," A.K.A. Little Debbie snack cake (with sprinkles). Come on girls, there are several bakeries less than a mile from your business! There was no additional foot massage, as implied by the Groupon ad. The foot massage was incorporated into our treatment. Which makes absolutely no sense, because my feet should've been massaged no matter what. I was expecting an ADDITIONAL foot massage, on top of the 90 minute full body massage, and didn't get it. The most disgraceful thing was BOTH therapists were on their cell phones DURING our massage. My husband bought a couple massage with champagne and strawberries for our anniversary. We arrived at 12:35 for a 1pm massage because we knew there would be paperwork to fill out. We were greeted by a flustered employee who told us that we were "way early" and to go have a drink at Tim Pan Alley and come back in 35m. We returned at 1:05. There were two glasses of wine (with plastic plates on top) on a small bench in a narrow hallway. We waited, and waited and waited some more (for another 25 minutes) before someone came out. She asked us if we drank our wine- well no, we didn't know it was for us. She said the plates on top were to keep the fruit flies out. While we were waiting, the other masseuse came out, left and returned about 5m later. The phone rang a few times while we were still waiting. So it's now 1:30 for our 1pm appointment. We were told it would be a "couple more minutes". Finally we were taken back to the room with two tables. We Were told to undress and were offered a pastry(I declined) from a plate they had siting on the (fake) fireplace. We were Offered a second glass of wine. After we undressed we laid on the tables with the a/c on full blast, no table warmers, and again we waited, for another 20 mins. Finally both massage therapists walked in and began the massage. Neither asked us if there were certain areas we wanted worked on, or avoided (remember- no paperwork filled out) never introduced themselves, my masseuse never asked how the pressure was or if everything was ok. Hot towels were Placed on my back, but with the a/c running at full blast, it was minutes before they (and I) got cold. She did offer to keep working on my back or to flip to my front. There were several times during the massage that the pressure decreased significantly and only one hand was working. I'm pretty sure she was on her phone because I could hear her putting something down and picking it back up again, and also clicking the lock button on the top of the iPhone to lock it. While working on my front side, she left my arms out after massaging them. I eventually got cool enough that I had to put it under the covers. At this time she offered to turn the a/c off. After about 10m the music shut off and it was dead silence. They finished the massage shortly after the music quit. I checked my watch and was shocked to learn that our hour long massage was only 40m. So our hour long massage with champagne and strawberries didn't ever truly occur. We will never be back and hope that this review will sway others against wasting their money at this establishment. read more

We did a 60 minutes couples massages with strawberries and champagne and it was great! Jillian and Gabby were great and we were completely relaxed the whole time! We love the Lewiston area and this is one more reason to come to the area. Jillian did some awesome trigger point therapy with the massage that was just the cherry on top. She is POSITIVELY fabulous - always very professional and conscientious. I've also had a body scrub and laser therapy with her. I am hooked!!!. You have to book a visit. I contacted this business in May to schedule an appointment in September for my best friend's bachelorette party (couple's massage groupon). She is flying in for the visit, and we don't drink, so I thought this would be a good option. The appointment was set for September 6 at 1pm. On Friday (Sept. 2), after not hearing from the spa to confirm, I wrote for confirmation. Without explanation I was told that the appointment was impossible. I forwarded her the emails confirming the appointment. I never received a reply. I wrote her again, pleading, that this was a very special occasion and she should honor the previously agreed upon appointment. I received no reply. I called and left a voicemail. I received no reply. Thankfully Groupon was willing to refund me, and now at the 11th hour I need to call all over the city to find a substitute spa for our special day. I am very prompt, organized, and as a result, things like this rarely happen to me. I never write negative reviews. In fact, I signed up for yelp just to write this.
