Great service, nice people and fast service. I looked over the menu, ordered and by the time I used the rest room, it was ready. Authentic and delicious Mexican food inside this small grocery store. It doesn't look like there is a place to eat inside, but there is! They have two tables and a menu up on the window. My friend and I shared guac as an appetizer, I got a steak burrito and she got cheese enchiladas. The burrito was HUGE!! WATCH WHAT THEY CHARGE YOU! I bought meat in bulk and it all was bad within 2 days in the fridge, turned green, and smelled absolutely HORRIBLE. I couldn't even feed it to my dog. Tried finding a BB date&nothing. Then I noticed the weight and price, and they overcharged me per pound! Blew it off thinking it was a mistake, until multiple times later.Then I stopped for papayas for my dads cancer. The papayas they had cut, were moldy and the cashier was about to leave it out! Asked if they had fresh and ended up getting those, and she charged me $2.99/pound, came to over $25.00 for 3 PAPAYAS! I asked her why the fresh ones were more than the cut ones and she said, "because the other ones are cut, these are fresh"! Sorry, isn't it supposed to be the cut ones are more because the labor to cut/package/prepare?!? I have supported this place for years and this is my first Yelp review, and I will never go there again and support them. Shame on you for scamming people! read more

Their burritos are the size of your head. Great for a two day meal. Their shop is also nice to go through. You can buy authentic items that are a staple when cooking Mexican foods at home. The people are nice. It's not a huge place but you can take the food to go and it's just as good if you sat there. read more

Originally from Chicago I am not sure why it took me so long to try this hidden gem (7+ years!). I just had the Breaded Chicken Torta and it was delicious, best torta I've had yet in Wisconsin. Some of their dishes can be hit or miss such as the steak burrito which was still good I felt it lacked flavor maybe it needed a little more seasoning on the meat(?). They also have tamales available some days and they are the best! Amazing Mexican butcher shop with reasonable prices. If you want real Mexican (street style) food go HERE! I was passing through Elkhorn and decided to stop for a bite. I found this place on Yelp and holy cow am I glad you all posted. This place is fantastic. I ordered the burrito and it was HUGE! I can put away some food but I couldn't polish this thing off. My only complaint is that there are only 3 booths to sit at in there and they were all taken so I had to eat in the truck. The service was friendly and fast. This place is a MUST if you have the taste for some Mexican food. Well done Yelp users. Places like this are the reason I love this app. read more

New management since late last summer but the everything on the menu is still just as great. The burritos will give at least 2 meals, 3 if your eating light. Guac is fresh and loaded with all the good stuff. Great place to buy all the fixings if you want to make it yourself too. read more

Just picked up slow cooked steak tacos (mexican style). They are little but mighty! The steak flavor was amazing and soooo tender! Better than the previous management. I am not sure if the corn tortillas are homemade but they were super good. Much better than before. They were grilled on a flat top with slightly crispy edges. Craving real Mexican food while staying in Elkhorn for a few weeks I tried this place for dinner. The tacos were almost as good as any street taco found in L.A. but the chicken enchilada, although tasty, was a bit bland in comparison to what I am accustomed to having in SoCal. The market carried authentic Mexican meats and cheeses which was a nice find and to top it off, they carry fresh Tres Leches cake. So nice to hear Spanish spoken too! read more

Authentic Mexican all the way. I'm from So Cal and this is the closest thing I've had since leaving. Burritos are HUGE! Like huge huge. Chips are bomb. Green salsa is perfect. Tamales are so good too. Fresh and stuffed with lots of meat. Prices are extremely reasonable. If you're in the area and looking for an authentic Mexican meal, this is the place. There's only 3 small tables though. So you might have to wait for a seat. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. This is the real deal. read more

Excellent food. We had the humogus steak burrito and ground beef tacos. Very large portions. Food came very quickly. Wait staff was great. When my grandson was over whelmed by the amount of filling in his taco she brought us a second shell. Prices are very reasonable. Seating is minimal and you have to get your own drink. Now, mind you it's been a while since I've eaten here because I don't eat meat anymore. But when I did, this place was THE.BEST. I used to always get steak burritos, they're under $5 and bigger than your head. Full of deliciously seasoned steak and big slices of fresh avocado, rice that I liked better than from any other Mexican restaurant and really good cheese. Literally the only complaint I have about this place is that I wish the store was bigger. You walk in and there's usually a line of people between the aisles (because it's a store/restaurant/deli). We find it easier to call ahead and pick up or order. Prices are very reasonable and you get a ton of food. This is authentic Mexican and it's always fantastic. For 2 people, we typically get 4 tacos and a quesadilla and it only comes out to about $12-$15. I can't say enough great things about this place. read more

SuperMercado America is so awesome!! Picked up some fresh chorizo from the butcher in back, some hard to find hot sauce and some candy while we were waiting for our to go lunch. The store is teensy but packed with lots of goodies! We choose our lunch to go even though they do have 3 booths if you want to eat there. My daughter go quesadilla (small) which was delicious and still a huge serving. The old man got his favorite large steak burritos ...which are fabulous but I have no idea how he ate all that food! I got the chicken enchiladas ,red sauce , they came with rice and beans . Oh yum yum yum. !!! Garnished with lettuce, diced tomato, queso fresco. Aw man ,so wonderful . I am saving some for dinner. Seriuously, the burritos and my dish is enough food for two average people. Oh and w got fresh tamales for later, thy look tasty. $22 for the prepared food . insane, right? and we have leftovers Ok..so here's a warning though : beware of the green sauce they give you in a condiment cup --crazy spicy hot! THe only bad thing I can think of is they only gave us 3 spoons ..like huh? No forks? Since we were going home it wasn't a biggie for us .
