Leander Grocery - Mega Meat Taco. Picture doesn't do it justice but this thing was big enough to half with my partner!

This is the SPOT. Got recommended to go here for the breakfast tacos and I will go out of my way…read moreevery time from now on to get breakfast here! Best in the area, and I love supporting small businesses. I got their mega taco and split that with my partner. Kept us both full! Food was made to order but wait wasn't too long. Definitely worth it. Good prices for the amount of food they give you. You order at the back of the gas station, wait for your food, then pay at the front register. The entrance doesn't look like it'll have all this amazing food, but trust it and you won't regret it! It's still your average convenience store, but the space was clean and the man at the register was very kind. There are also seats and tables in front of the order counter to sit and wait or enjoy your food. Definitely recommend for breakfast tacos! They also sell tamales and have lunch specials.

Plus they have fresh tortillas! Definitely enjoyed their breakfast items the most such as the breakfast burrito and chorizo egg taco! Also I've liked their barbacoa, chicken, steak and al pastor tacos here too! Never seems greasy! Ask for extra salsa which they have both the green and red variety too!

Automatic door opens for you. Inside it's small, but they pack a lot of products. The isles are narrow, and full of all sorts of seasonings, and some other things I have no idea what they are, but I'm intrigued. I was asked if I needed help by a gentleman who clearly knew I had no idea what I was doing. I said thank you, I'm okay. And I explained I've never been here before so I'm just looking to see what this store is all about. I went about my browsing and picture taking. Really enjoyed seeing so much food that I've never seen before. Thank God for pictures, I can research what they are and maybe make something yummy. I could smell something yummy. No idea what it was, but I grabbed 2 from the heated glass display. Went to the register and told him I grabbed 2 of whatever is in the case. Let me tell you, whatever that was, it was dang good. Spicy, and I loved it. It's a triangle shape, fried, the outside is crispy, the inside is soft. I don't know if it's meat, or a plant based faux meat, I don't know. It was just so good. Now I want to know what it was, and how can I make it at home.

Freezer section has quick Handy Indian meals. There is varieties of Dosa batter and fresh snacks/ desserts. The place is clean and the cashier was helpful. We drove 35 minutes. Tricky thing was it's not in a very prominent location but behind some hospital clinics buildings. Good amount of parking space.

May 30, 2026 review ---…read moreIndian grocery store located at parmer and Avery ranch. Pretty busy on weekends. They get fresh grocery on weekends and keep updating their customer on Whatsapp on good arrivals too. Dana food which is just around the corner, is owned by same owner. They have fresh samosa. Cash is need for less than $5 I think. You can find pretty much all Indian grocery related stuff here. Finding fresh veggies are hit or miss depending on when and what time of day you go there. Oh and in the summer, they get Indian mangoes like kesar, Alphonso and one more. It's a box of 11-12 mangoes of approx price $45-50. Staff is pretty nice and they are able to return stuff if you find something wrong as long you keep the receipt. Owner speak in both Hindi and English. Be careful and check expiry date of masala like haldiram or MDH before you buy the packet.

CUSTOMER BEWARE This business engages in deceptive pricing…read morepractices. My 16-year-old purchased Kohinoor Basmati Rice clearly marked at $14.99 on both the bag and shelf. At checkout, he was charged $18.99 instead. See my attached pictures for proof. When he mentioned the discrepancy, instead of correcting their mistake and apologizing, they got offended and lectured him about "how to speak to an elder." It's sad they chose to belittle and intimidate a minor rather than take responsibility. Make doubly sure they bill you correctly. Otherwise, they'll scam you on their prices!!!

We were looking for a particular Deep brand sweet lime pickle. I asked a gentleman to find it for us. He looked for it & said it's out of stock. Two days later, as I just entered the store, he reached up to me and said, "the pickle you were looking for is here! " I was pleasantly taken aback! :)) for someone to even remember what the customer is looking for. That's paying attention to detail. Well done! His name is Mr. Santosh. I hope the store owners appreciate and recognize you!! Unless you are the owner... that's cool too! :)) The vegetables are all arranged well. Very fresh. They were continually checking if there's any rotten produce to be thrown away. The namkeens were all arranged well in a full section. The spices, lentils, organic stuff, grains, utensils etc. Everything is organized so well!! Very well lit aisles. All within reach. I am sure to visit again! :)) Enjoyed shopping here!

They have a business called Vipuls Kitchen in the back of the store preparing fresh vegetarian food in the store - you can opt to have a quick meal at the tables there or take the food to go in containers of various sizes. They also prepare fresh sweets.
