Rich Rodriguez and Sou were the representative that helped my parents and I with our purchase. We had went through the Costco Auto program that introduced us to great deals. For a dealership to be apart of their program, they must follow strict requirements so not many dealers are linked to this program. I was pleased to find out that Merced Kia was one of those dealers. Once I signed up, I was contacted immediately by another friendly representative named Sou to scheduled a visit. When we arrived, we had an idea for what we wanted as it was either a 2016 Kia Optima or a 2016 Nissan Altima. Sou showed us a few options then shortly after, Rich had joined in to assist us. We were adamant that we wanted a black on black color for the Kia but even though this dealership didn't have it, they had very convenient options of finding that exact car and brining to Merced for us if we chose. The 2nd option was a beautiful Pearl White Kia with black interior that they had there as an option. Rich took the time to thoroughly explain why the Kia Optima was a great option as it had an amazing safety rating and a ton of cool features worth knowing. Since my mother was unable to join us at that time to the dealership but was going to be making the final decision, Rich gave us the option to take the white Kia to my house so that my mother could see it in person without a rep going with us so we could comfortably show it off to the family. Once we realized we wanted the car, the financing options and process of doing the paperwork was among the easiest I've ever been apart of. We were on a strict budget but we felt very accommodated as they worked every angle possible to get as close as possible to the monthly payment that we can manage. Merced Kia is the BEST! When the manager, Gilbert, tells you something, he keeps his word. Merced Kia beat every other dealerships prices, since I shopped around (and there were several, let me tell you) and Gilbert beat them all just like he said he would. That is what you call SERVICE!!! I had to take my car back for a recall issue, so I sent my brother to take care of it. Let me tell you he came back so impresed by the way Kia Motors took care of them on the 2 hour wait. Great place! We bought our daughter's first car from here, and Jake was by far the best car salesman we've dealt with! He was very patient and knowledgeable. When we finished signing, it was so late no one was left to wash and detail the car, so they told us we could take it home and bring it back to be washed, or come back the next day to pick it up.
