I don't go shopping at Walmart but I do use the curbside pickup option - it just makes life so much easier! And the employees are so sweet when they bring the merchandise to my car. I've gotten to know a few of them. Great people. Sometimes though they do get things wrong. They're human! So I always double check the soda flavors I get (sometimes stuff I don't want gets mixed in). Or they don't bring the correct number of units. Always double check your order before letting them go. Love the curbside pickup option when shopping in the Walmart app. I can shop at my leisure and choose the day and time I want to come pick up my order. There is a $35 minimum but that's easy to do. I went through hell with one pay and Synchronicity Bank. I quit the program in 3 weeks because I saw and experienced danger ahead. I had many live ** and Bot chats and live conversations and emails with Syn and WM/One Pay asking for a statement time and time again but not one could give an answer.** ** Then while talking with Synchrony Bank she, via a text, showed all the purchases, only the cost but not what they were, and especially two stood out. One for $269 & $249 which I never made.** ** and is not on my account on the WM website. They put in a complaint and I received a letter that their investigation finds i did not open the account so all sales are removed** ** and I owe nothing. Not leaving well enough alone I got back and said I did buy a few things and want to pay for them. Suddenly I get another postal letter sounding belligerent** ** stating "our investigation shows YOU did open the account, bought every our bank shows and they were delivered". NOT TRUE! I sent copies of all chats, Items purchases for all 3 weeks** ** and the credits and a copy of Synchrony statement to the One Pay HQ. Finally I get a bill for $696 minus credits from the original $898 charge and being tired and ill for 3 years** ** I paid it that day. Meanwhile they sent it after the due date so days after I paid they emailed again stating I now owe Late fees due to their negligence.** ** If their first investigation found I had nothing to do with it the how did a second investigation show otherwise? I'm not the only one who has be hurt by this program, bank,** ** and especially WALMART so be careful out there read more

I am a huge fan of any Walmart store, as I can generally find anything I need or want at a reasonable price. This store in Glendora is no exception, and this is the only market period I have found that offers my favorite cereal, Nabisco Shredded Wheat. I have a Walmart one mile from my home, yet I will drive the extra miles solely to purchase this cereal. This is how much love I have for my cereal. Employees at this store, as I have noted in previous reviews, are always seen working hard. I have been to this Walmart Supercenter in Glendora on many occasions. I just realized I have never done a review for them. Today is the day! I was here last night to pick up a tube of Shoe Goo @ $5.49 for my bowling shoes of 30+ years that have separated between shoe and sole LOL. The owner of Pin Point Bowling Concepts shop at Bowlero Montebello recommended it to me. Thank you so much Sir! I appreciate your MacGyver tips. It saved me some $$! It was late and I didn't want to run around the store looking for the tube. I asked the nice gentleman staff who was stocking shoes for assistance. He directed me to the exact location. The, when confronted, they say that the customer was already bagging items so they didn't help out. What a bunch of crap. If I didn't have to go to Walmart for the pharmacy I would not enter this store. Other Walmarts seem to keep the customer in mind (i.e., Brea, Chino Hills); the Glendora one must scrape the bottom of the barrel when hiring people. Well that was the worst experience. I ordered a toy online for curb side pick up. Drove across town (with these high gas prices!!!) only to get the wrong thing pulled!!!!! They were out of the one in particular I ordered but didn't cancel the order like they should have and let me drive over there. Then they didn't have the curtesy of calling another Walmart in the area to make up for their mistake AND they wanted me to drive away trusting they would refund me. I didn't want to give the kid helping me a hard time so I called the store about 30 times to speak to a manager (thats the amount of times I was able to try on my way home) and no one answered. Made an appointment for an oil change, I came in on time, they had me on record and got me in pretty quickly. The oil and filter change took about 45 minutes. Overall pleased with the service but I have two complaints. 1. When making the appointment I requested Mobile 1 Synthetic oil, without asking or informing me, they put in Castrol Synthetic. I had noticed lots of Mobile on the shelf for sale, so I know they weren't low on stock. Why the change and why ask if you don't plan to honor the request? Customers, make sure you verbally tell them what you want when checking in your car. 2. Four people had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to Auto Checkout register to take our money. I even went to General checkout and asked they call a representative to the auto checkout. This has happened before at Glendora. read more

If you need any men's socks, undershirts or underwear shop elsewhere. These are all locked in cases and even after hitting the "call box" button you will wait a minimum of 19 minutes. I have timed it each time I come here and the shortest time I have waited was 19 minutes. Longest was 43 minutes. Everytime I experience a wait the person with the keys to open the case has a new excuse and claims Walmart only has one key to open this case. read more

I go to Walmart every Sunday and this was the closest one to my house. The employees were nice and helped me when I needed to know wheir something was, the store had a pretty nice layout and the isles were clean, pretty much the whole store was clean except I saw some ice cream bar trash in the restrooms. Overall I rate this Walmart 4 stars and If you live in San Dimas, Glendora, La Vern, Covina, Pomona, I recommend this Walmart if you want to go to Walmart. read more

Yesterday I came in before 8am with my autistic son and shopped for about an hour... while checking out I asked "Kat" if I Apple Pay was accepted because I only had a digital copy of my debit. She flat out said NO and didn't try to problem solve, help, or anything. Then I asked her if they can hold my stuff while I go get cash so that the past hour I shopped, wasn't for nothing. She couldn't even help me then!!!! She started nagging me about how long I was going to take because they "really only hold things while people run to their car". She kept insisting on a time frame... I started explaining to her that I'm not sure.. I gotta get to the nearest Wells Fargo, get cash, come back and my autistic 8 year old can have a meltdown during any minute .. I'm explaining myself to come lady who would care less about customer service or human decency. She was not willing to help. Some nice man paying for his own stuff nearby overheard and offered to pay for my stuff with his card and I could Apple Pay him.... I was so touched by this nice stranger and soooo disgusted with this Walmart employee. As I'm leaving, that nice man was walking out in front Of me and Shanna, another horrible person/employee starts harassing him for his receipt. I went shopping today and first of all the produce department had zero plastic bags. I asked an employee and he said they ran out. I decided to continue shopping and skipped the produce. I was told by another customer who heard me that there were plastic bags in the meat department so I went there and grabbed bags and returned to get my produce. As I was paying for my groceries the cashier told me she only had 2 plastic bags because they were running out. I told her what had happened in the produce department and asked what was going on with no plastic bags. She told me to "blame the Orange man". This store has surely improved. Been coming here for years, and a few years ago I wouldn't have had anything positive to say. The parking lot is much cleaner, no homeless people, lots of parking. It is at a busy intersection, it is a big store lots of options. I'd say it's clean but they have soo many people restocking that it makes the aisles very crowded and tight. Difficult to get around with a cart. A ton of stuff locked up which is sad, this is a very nice area and definitely feel safe here. But unfortunate. Friendly helpful staff. This was my first and last time getting an oil change here. Unprofessional, sad excuse for a customer driven business. Will the manager of the Auto Center is a joke. I waited over 2 1/2 hours for my car which was just sitting for most of the time. I finally ran out of patience and approached the desk one David ( who was very confused but the most professional) could not find my paperwork. The man that checked me in put my car under a man's name who I have no clue is. According to the paperwork my car was ready at 3pm I approached the desk after 3pm? I requested the manager at the beginning ( Will) who never came out. Once David and I figured out the paperwork was wrong I asked for it to be corrected and again for the manager Will who told David to give a few more minutes, Sir I requested to see you over 15 minutes ago. I asked David to call Will back and he said I will go get him which David did. That was a joke Will was not apologetic about anything he was there to give excuses. Good customer service starts from the head. I have never been a fan of Walmart and this visit reminded me why. Walmart's lacks customer service all the way around. This Walmart is a typical Walmart.It has a food section and makeup and clothes and outdoors plus electronics. Depending on his working service can kind of be slow. I do not recommend self check out if there are multiple people, it tends to be slower than regular check check out. I went to another local Walmart closer to home and although there were no cars waiting for service they told me they were booked for the day and could not take care of me (I've got this from this location many times). I left and came here and they took me in right away. They fixed my issue (screw in tire) the fastest I had ever waited and Brandi rung me up who also took care of me. I asked several people that walk by and all said they would find somebody but no one ever came. Similar thing happened at the Lego cabinet. There we were able to flag somebody down.
