I was initially intimidated by this veterinary. It seemed incredibly fancy. With vet care already being pricey I didn't take my dog here for a longtime. I wish I would have come to them sooner. The pricing is competitive with other practices in the area. We have seen Dr.Tsai. She has given my dog herbal treatment for her allergies. we've tried everything to give her relief. I struggle with this rating but I need to tell my story and state that first and foremost, I want to preface this by saying 5 stars goes to everyone in this clinic with the exception of Dr Tsai. Dr Tsai had diagnosed my little guy with kidney failure in mid July . Her bedside manner was absolutely awful but the reason I kept going were Dr Miller and the vet techs (Courtney and Jade) and front staff were amazing with my little guy. I took him every single day for about two months for them to give him fluids and treatment. I saw a rapid decline this past Friday night with him, but I knew that I had an appointment the following day and I text one of the vet techs, and she said for the doctor to take a peek at him. Well, the following day when I got there, the vet tech said she was gonna pull Dr Tsai aside in between her appointments. I'd even got there 45 minutes early knowing we may need more time. There was still an hour plus left to the day. I'm right outside the door to where they are and I can overhear the vet tech ask Dr. Tsai can I pull you for a quality of life for Beau. She said "I have no time for a euthanasia". I couldn't really hear what the vet tech responded but ultimately i was told Dr Tsai did a quick check and said he's not doing well but he will have to wait until Thursday bc there were no appointments, which was six days away. This would be for euthanasia bc that was the only time available. That did not sit well with me, but this was not the vet techs fault at all. Again - vet techs should be paid more and running that office, they care more. Dr Tsai could clearly see a rapid decline and a dog who was suffering. She had seen Beau a few times since July and there was absolutely no way she can dismiss the signs he was showing. Beau got his fluids and meds and we went home. I want to mention that When we presented to Dr. Tsai, Beau no longer had ability to use his back legs. He was lethargic. He had not ate and only drink water once. And she still decided to let him go home. That to me is some sort of violation of the oath that she's taken to be a doctor. I'm really upset still that he suffered an additional 24 hours before I ended up taking him to foothill Farms veterinarian where they kindly made time for him. Even though I was not one of their patients. Dr. gonzales there looked Beau over and said he definitely was in decline and she did a test for neurological problems that he did not pass that which means that he was suffering and in pain more than I knew. Had Dr. Tsai taken that time to do this quick check I would've taken him earlier to peacefully go. Foothill was so kind to my Beau and gave him a gracious and peaceful passing with dignity and respect that he DESERVED. I'm so disappointed in Meridian for allowing Dr Tsai to do what she does because it's obviously not the first time. Read the reviews. The negative ones are about her. I struggle with continuing care for my other dog here at Meridian based off of the lack of care and cold heartedness from Dr. Tsai. However, that may have worked in my favor because if she would've been as so coldhearted during his last hour of his life, I probably would've lost it on her. Everyone in that office has been kind, loving, compassionate, and friendly. I love Dr Miller and Dr Staam is great too. Courtney and Jade (vet techs) are the absolute best I've ever encountered. Jamie and Grace at the front desk are the best ever. Again. Everyone is great except dr Tsai. I'm not usually the type to post reviews--especially not about veterinary clinics--but I feel I have to share this, in honor of my beloved dog who recently passed away. I've been bringing Bo to Meridian Veterinary since he was a puppy. The staff had always been friendly, accommodating, and I appreciated their holistic approach to pet care. That trust, however, changed on October 2nd. I brought Bo in because he had lost his appetite and was struggling to breathe. At almost nine years old, Bo was considered a senior for his size. As a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, he was also prone to heart disease. To rule that out, we agreed to do a chest X-ray and several other tests, including those for possible heart failure and pancreatitis. Dr. Tsai initially suspected heart failure and prescribed two heart medications. But the following day, after the radiologist reviewed Bo's X-rays, we were told it wasn't heart failure--it was pneumonia. I returned on October 3rd to bring back the unnecessary heart medication, and Bo was prescribed antibiotics instead. Dr. Tsai provided a one-week supply to "see how he'd respond," explaining that it was difficult to determine whether the infection was viral, bacterial, or fungal. She reassured us that the antibiotics should start working within three days. Despite our efforts--hand-feeding him, monitoring him closely--Bo didn't improve. By day three, October 6th, he was still lethargic, not eating, and breathing heavily. That afternoon, as I tried to feed him again, he couldn't stand or breathe properly. We rushed him to the nearest emergency hospital, but he passed away in my arms on the way there. The ER staff attempted to revive him for over fifteen minutes before confirming he was gone. They said his lungs were filled with fluid. Our family is devastated. We're in the stage of grief where we can't help but wonder what could have been done differently. In researching similar cases, we learned that many veterinarians hospitalize dogs with pneumonia to provide fluids and oxygen support until improvement. That was never presented to us as an option--just a week of antibiotics and hope that it was "garden-variety pneumonia," as Dr. Tsai described it. My wife has reached out to speak with Meridian's hospital manager, but at the time of writing this, we have yet to hear back. I share this not out of anger, but heartbreak. Please--be your pet's strongest advocate. We are done with Meridian. We trusted them with Bo's care, and their conservative approach cost us our beloved dog. We are grieving deeply, and while time may ease the pain, our hearts will always ache for Bo. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Angie Stamm and her medical team! Angie was the holistic vet that our small pet business my mom owned for 9 years would always refer our clients to! She's really knows how to tackle pet allergies, cool, hot and warm proteins and is all about feeding a naturally grain-free diet! Our almost 1 year old Goldendoodle definitely has his share of allergies. Apparently it's more common with his breed they said. Since purchasing the Dr. Mercola Seasonal Support from their store shelf, we've seen a significant difference in our puppy! This is also in combination with Nordic Naturals Omega-3 we also purchased from them. His left ear isn't too lucky either, we live on a large property and poor Midnight has had 2 foxtails and ear wax buildup removed and on top of that an ear infection. Recently his ear started bothering him again, which they suspect is irritation from ear hair and prescribed Animax Ointment. We had tried everything out there and since using Nexgard Soft Beef-Flavored Chewables for dogs they prescribed our puppy he has finally had ZERO fleas!! Revolution Plus prescribed for our seal point ragdoll kitty Kirara has worked wonders as well for her! I would definitely recommend this holistic vet! Midnight will be 1 on the 4th and if all goes well after the results of our puppy's bloodwork, he'll be neutered. Wow- this place has changed. I feel like I'm visiting a used car lot when I'm coming in for an appointment or trying to schedule. Thousands wasted on unnecessary services. The most recent: called to get my geriatric dogs arthritis meds refilled the week of Christmas. They said they wouldn't refill it until she had blood work done...... keep in mind that I had been there 5 times for her acupuncture and laser services and they never said anything to me about this being due. I let the girl on the phone know that it was the week of Christmas and I had travel planned and they also had very limited availability, so if they could fill it for a week so she doesn't go without it, and then we could do the blood work the following week. She still insisted on not refilling it for the few days worth. I was so upset and worried that my dog would suffer, I called her old vet. They asked the doctor on staff and she said she would absolutely fill it and we could bring her in for the new year to get everything updated. That Dr also mentioned, this particular med cannot be abruptly stopped, which they should know and could not believe they would not refill. I also found out that this vet recently sold to a corporation, which explains the crap service and excessive fees. I also found needles left in her from the acupuncture days after her treatment!! Today we visited Meridian for the first time. Drogo has been dealing with swelling on his tonsils and lymph nodes. Dr. Stamm was kind, informative, and patient and made a plan for us. My dog is 90lb cane corso and can be quite intimidating. He growled at Dr. Stamm, but she didn't seem bothered or scared, which was nice to see because at the last vet I was taking him in Midtown, the Dr. wouldn't even interact with Drogo. She didn't touch him once, and I could tell she was purposely keeping distance from him, which made me not want to go back. Dr. Stamm was giving treats to Drogo, and he seemed relaxed after a couple of minutes with her. Dr. Stamm seems to have tons of experience. I think I found my new vet. I'll happily do the 30-min drive. The facility is big, beautiful, modern, and welcoming. Drogo loved the big windows. read more

I just want to first start off by saying that, other than this one incident, I have had no problems, but after what happened I won't be going back. I took my 6-pound little dog here to get a non-anesthetic dental done. She has had it done before, so I didn't think it would be a problem. Once she was done, the man brought her back out to me and complained to me about how she moved around a lot during the dental. I figured that this would be the last dental, she is almost 13 and is in remission from lymphoma cancer. This past week, I took her in for her normal check-up at a different vet to ensure that she is still cancer free. During this appointment, they take x-rays to make sure her chest is clear. After taking her home, I received a call from her oncologist. She reported that my little dog had multiple healed rib fractures that she did not see on her last x-rays back in June. I was absolutely horrified and had no idea how this could happen. She's older and lays in her bed for most of the day. There is no way she could have gotten these fractures from lying in her bed. After talking with the vet about how this could be possible, it clicked that she had gotten her dental done in between her oncology appointments. The vet agreed that what likely happened was she was squirming around so much that she was squeezed, and this caused her ribs to become fractured. I am really not trying to blame anyone, but there is no other way this could have happened. My only reason for leaving this review is to help warn other people because finding out my dog's ribs were fractured by someone I thought I could trust was absolutely heartbreaking. read more

I called and spoke to the front desk girl about vaccines. (I'm against how the approach and administration of them in general and would rather not vaccinate for everything) She basically spoke down to me the entire time as I was getting info from her on the way they approached it there. She kept repeating things (I heard you the first time you said rabies is required by state law). Also, I changed subjects and asked a new question about how far out an appointment would need to be made for neutering. Of course I prefaced it with "if we get the shots and wanted to book the appt for neutering". But it was like she didn't hear me, and repeated her entire prolog on how he would have to have all the shots to be seen and approved there. *I heard you the first time. Then when coming to the actual answer it was very vague. "It depends on the time of year, we're coming up to the holidays so it fluctuates. " uh huh--- what does that mean? I asked her to elaborate. Does that mean you are more busy or less busy?? She then was finally able to give a real answer of "we have more holiday breaks so it makes us have less availability. " Ok great real answer! After hanging up with her and feeling like I was spoken to like a child; I called other places that had the same holistic approach...I spoke to someone very helpful and very knowledgeable. She and I were able to have a conversation about this in a healthy manner. I made an appointment there and THAT is where I'll be establishing care. read more

In honor of #thankyouThursday I'd like to post a review about the absolutely stellar office of Dr. Stamm. After taking my fur baby to several vets in Midtown and being extremely unsatisfied with lack of professionalism, price gauging and not feeling 100% trusting of anyone with my doggie, I found Meridian Vet Care. The office is not in Midtown, it's a 30 minute (or more depending on traffic) however, well worth the drive. Dr. Stamm is kind, honest, SUPER knowledgeable, warm and very welcoming. I can truly sense her love of animals when I bring my pooch in for a vet visit. I appreciate how gently she handles my elderly doxie (as an oldie, she needs extra lovin). I trust her 1000% and it's a HUGE thing to earn my trust. I know for sure, my doggie is in good hands when she's being cared for by DR. Stamm. My pooch has had minor surgeries, medications, herbs (mixes specifically made for pets), acupuncture, bee stingers removed... she's literally had all sorts of care from Dr. Stamm. Her prices are fair and she doesn't price gauge for services or surgeries. I've actually hesitated leaving her a review because she's so awesome, I didn't want more patients flooding the office making it difficult to get an appointment- not even kidding, lol. Am I stingy? YESSSSS, but only sometimes- I swear. Word travels fast when doctors are as amazing and as trustworthy as Dr. Stamm so... if you don't know, now you know. She is by far, the BEST in the area. Bad experience with staff related to an appointment with Dr. Tsai. I called to get my cat seen for a puncture wound and shots (former owner established care at Meridian). I was provided with an appointment for 3:30 p.m. which I agreed to. I then received a text asking if I could change the appointment to 5:00 p.m. as the other was taken already. I agreed. I hit terrible traffic on 50 so I texted to inform staff that I would be ten minutes late. I called and there was no answer. I received a call that was identified as spam so it didn't ring, then a text inquiring about my whereabouts. I arrived at 5:20 and was rudely greeted by the front desk staff who said she would check with Dr. Tsai to find out if my cat could be seen. She returned and said she would see him for ten minutes but may not be able to do any treatment. Huh? Why would I agree to that? Apparently Dr. Tsai couldn't stay an extra five minutes to see what was wrong. I get that it is inconvenient but my poor cat needed help. Instead I was shamed. I chose to have my records transferred to schedule with a vet closer to home. I left and went to my car in the parking lot and was trying to schedule an appointment when two staff came out emptying garbage. They both smirked at me and were laughing. One gave me the side eye and a little wave. I left feeling so uncomfortable. I get that I was late and it was inconvenient but the treatment was ugly and not warranted given the situation. I would reconsider scheduling here unless you are established. read more

Dr. Stamm is a really incredible Veterinarian that we've been seeing for about a decade now. She's the only person that I trusted with our beloved terrier mix, Shirley, and I believe that her experience and network actually extended the life of our dog by about three years. I live 30 minutes from her old location, and now 45 minutes from her new location and I can wholeheartedly say that Meridian veterinary care is worth the drive and the time that it takes simply because you're getting such better service and quality. If you love your pet, and you're having a difficult time finding the right veterinary service, you should give Dr. Stamm and her team a try. read more

I never saw the same vet twice. On one visit a tech simply forgot a couple of items that the vet had ordered done and I had to remind her. On another visit they had me misscheduled and I had to wait until the vet of the day arrived. Today they had me scheduled for a full vet visit to recheck Bear's ear even though they had promised a tech visit would be sufficient. The only reason I went to these people is because Van Tine was working there. I don't know if she still is but the herbal medicines given to Bear from the vet of the day made him sick for a week. I've been to four or five different vets in Folsom including the new one on the other side of the freeway and this Meridian outfit is by far the worst. The only time Id even consider going back there is if Tine is on staff and I see her specifically. read more

This review is long overdue. Where I once gave Meridian and Dr Angie Stamm five star reviews, no more. They have put money $$ above what is best for animals in their care. They are on par with the other large corporate Veterinary clinics that have adopted practices that line their pockets before putting animal welfare, comfort and care first. ...I'd give zero stars if I could. I brought my little 6 lb rescued 6-7 year old chi girl, Cindy there, this little girl was one of the happiest, spriest pups I've ever rescued....BACKGROUND: I had rescued Cindy off the streets, skin and bones, some rotten teeth, I had her spayed and a dental with my longtime Vet...But after the dental procedure she had 2 fistulas (open areas) on the roof of her mouth after canines pulled that I was concerned about and my Vet did not specialize in this surgery that requires grafting some other areas of the mouth to plug these holes....Although I should have listened to my Vet who said it was unnecessary and and they would eventually close but because she had some sinus involvement I brought her to Meridian and DR Angie Stamm who had been my go to alternative Vet for decades for a second opinion. I should have listened to my Vet!! Prior to Meridian she was happy , healthy and spry and had bounced back immediately from the dental she had with no issues at all. Being overly protective I went to Dr Angie Stamm for a second Opinion as she had been a trusted alternative vet of for many, many years. Big mistake...I did not realize how much their practice had changed....They recommend an xray, told me she would have problems down the road with the remaining teeth she had and recommend we PULL OUT ALL HER TEETH, none of which she had a problem with at the time....The charge was $2,000, she explained was best to do this now to avoid issues down the road. .. I had a long discussion with Dr Stamm, because I wanted to do what was best for my pup ....I said isn't that too much to pull out all her teeth , she was such a little dog? Wouldn't it be hard on her? painful?...she assured be it wouldn't be a problem...said she would be fine... BOT TRUE!! I was horrified when I picked up this little girl...her mouth was a bloody mess, she cried and suffered extremely for days.... she was beyond in pain, crying, yelping. The pain and suffering that this little dog endured as a result was heartbreaking. I was horrified with her condition. She was crying and whimpering and miserable for weeks as was I! ....and for months after has suffered the ill effects of pulling out perfectly good teeth that may have never given her a problem.....Meridians' staff was less than helpful, did not prescribe the right pain meds.....really could have cared less. I left messages for Dr Stamm to call me and she never bothered...I had to bring this sweet baby to emergency clinics numerous times after to get her treatments .......this little pup almost a year later is still not the same and now suffers gum issues from her tongue lolling out of her mouth, as I rescued her and fostered her to find her a good home I could not in good conscience let her be out of my care because of her health issues related to having ALL her GOOD TEETH pulled out...I will never forgive my self for the pain and suffering I caused this sweet little pup .........Shame on you Dr Stamm, first do no harm. read more

First off I will say that the vet (Stamm) is very nice. We had all three of our dogs in for exams and all ended up getting adjustments and laser therapy. And they seemed to LOVE it. So if all you need is holistic treatments this place is great. BUT: We brought in one of our girls especially because she seemed to be in pain. She didn't want to jump or go up her stairs. We paid for an exam and then were recommended an adjustment and laser therapy and told to come back in a week. We did both so this visit was over $200. Right before we were leaving though I noticed my dog was having some sort of bloody discharge from somewhere in her back end. The vet took her away and when she was given back from a tech I was told they were doing a urinalysis and I would be called the next day. The next day Stamm calls to say urinalysis was negative and to just monitor her and as long as the discharge doesn't continue she's ok... So fast forward four days she's terribly lethargic, won't eat, and it looking swollen in the rear area. She doesn't especially like being messed with so it was difficult for us to investigate. But she was clearly in pain. But the discharge had seemed to dissipate so we had just been looking for it. So then I call our normal vet. The next day right before our appt she starts bleeding in a scary fashion. (Pic attached) Her normal vet was shocked by the pic and immediately LOOKED FOR THE SOURCE OF THE BLEED. Which there is no way Meridian did. My baby girl had a 105 temp and a mystery wound, she was never bleeding from her vagina and yet all meridian did was a urinalysis. I emailed Meridian to ask what her temp was the day of her exam and treatment. THEY DIDN'T TAKE ONE. I give you my dog who is having bloody/pussy discharge and they didn't look for the source of the blood and didn't even take her temp. Stamm did call and leave a message wanting to discuss it but there is literally no excuse for not trying to find the source or take a temp. If a urinalysis was necessary to look for infection you'd think a temp would be a no brainer to check... I'm thankful our normal vet was able to help her so quickly, having her temp back down by the next morning. I ended up paying over $200 at Meridian to be misdiagnosed with back pain when had a wound. Dr Stamm is fantastic. She's a holistic vet, but also can do traditional vet care. I started taking my dachshund to her over spinal concerns. Many times less then they quoted me and less then it should have been. I can not thank these Vets enough. My Doxie had some mussel and tendon issues. And now he is mostly back to normal and going to be going off meds. I called all types of vet and all they wanted to do was meds and surgery. Just the work up alone was going to be thousands. Just got back from our second treatment and he is a new boy. One more treatment in two weeks then once a month for a while then once every 3 months. Still way under just the work up from Nero vet. Went to Dr. Stamm for years. Was good up until about a year or so ago. Then: Didn't answer multiple emails or phone call re bump over eye that I sent pictures of. Initial diagnosis of luxating patella: just did chiropractic treatment and showed me how to put back into place. Said there were two surgeries and advised against them. About a year(?) later when it was going out a lot I brought him back in for another chiropractic treatment and she said if it didn't work she could do a different type of treatment which I now think is a money grab, especially after reading other reviews. She did a stretch (pulled leg back, which I later thought about and didn't understand because it wasn't stretching hamstring like she said; it was the opposite). I asked if I could massage him and she said yes but gave no guidance. She had mentioned that he had a tight hamstring. After researching I found out about massaging and stretching the hamstring, that shorter more frequent walks should be given and it suggested supplements. I also found out that there are FOUR types of surgeries not two. In preparation for the anesthetic dental (because he had never had xrays and they were needed) bloodwork was done. 1) she didn't mention elevated glucose or finding of polychromasia or suggestion of doing doing urinalysis and 2) emailed two wildly different estimates couple of days apart with no explanation. The new one was $500-700 (low and high end of range) more than then the first one. Didn't see brown discharge when I brought to have checked again but she barely looked. I took closer look at home and saw it on claw i told her about plus on other claws (small amounts; had to look closely). Didn't spot any broken teeth. I don't think she ever opened his mouth to examine. She found out about this at his new vet who had his assistant making notes of all dental observations in preparation for his cleaning. I am quite frankly appalled by her and don't trust her as a vet or a business woman. read more

I wish there were a way to share without having to assign stars -- I'm sure for many they really deserve five stars and my intention isn't to bring down their rating. Instead I just want to offer this advice. If your pet needs acute care (or if your instinct is your pet needs acute care), go to VCA on Sunset instead. You'll likely get sent there anyway (we were twice because we needed services not offered by Meridian), and they're able to run tests and get results much more quickly (30 minutes vs. more than a day). My dog ended up dying and part of me feels like if I hadn't wasted time going back and forth between the two we may have found answers. I believe Meridian is competent, there's just more of a lag in getting lab results in possibly critical situations. Not their fault, but something I wish I'd realized because my gut was there was something seriously wrong with my dog (again, this is my fault for not pushing harder for faster answers). Nonetheless, I do think they're really unique in offering holistic pet care and I'd give them four solid stars for that! read more

Meridian Vet Care did a superb job cleaning my dog's teeth without anesthesia. Ryan was kind and gentle with my dog Charlie. All the plaque is gone!! The staff was friendly and family oriented. I will definitely go back for my dog's care needs. Thank you! read more

No stars but I must put at least one to post. Please be warned if you plan on taking your pet to this facility be aware that an unsupervised vet assistant overdosed my small pet by injecting ten (10) times the amount of the medication. This cause my pet to bleed from the injection site for several hours, she developed severe diarrhea and vomiting and was in a great deal of pain and discomfort. She has not been the same since and is having a hard time moving around. The owner did not even offer an apology to me, they were dismissive and attempted to minimize my concerns about my pet. Not once did they call me to ask how she was doing. My dog is more than likely permanently damaged due to the negligence of this facility. Very disappointing and I will never return to this facility again. read more

Not a very responsive staff. I was referred to Meridian from my vet, but for whatever reason, they are very hard to contact. I called during normal business time. No answer. I left a message. No call back. Later I get a text telling me to call back or text. Since they don't answer their phone, I texted back to please contact me. No response. I checked their website. Totally not working. Too many red flags. Checking elsewhere. These guys clearly already have enough business. read more

Excellent treatment with short waiting times. I and my pet were treated with kindness and adequate time with the doctor.

I honestly am surprised I didn't leave a review sooner. We love this vet. This is the only place my dog felt comfortable coming (vet-wise). He always seemed stressed at other vets. We love the approach of this vet and everyone has always been both helpful and welcoming. So, a few years ago we discovered our dog had several ticks we weren't aware of. After getting him checked out, we were told his liver was shutting down. We were told we could take him to an vet ER somewhere else. When we couldn't afford the going rate quote of the ER vet (another place), so Dr. Angie gave us a specific regiment of supplements and diet and a timeframe to try. Her recommendations worked miracles and our dog recovered quickly. We were lucky and so grateful for her amazing knowledge. read more

Simply the WORST! There are so many terrible things about this place, I don't know where to begin. First, be prepared to wait at least 30-45 minutes in the lobby or exam room with NO communication from staff before seeing the doctor. I was SHOCKED at how roughly the tech handled my sweet, old kitty cat (in front of me) who was there for acupuncture. She grabbed her by the scruff and started forcing her to lay down. I had to stop her, and held my kitty myself, I couldn't believe it! I'd hate to see what they do in the back. My cat was VERY agitated on one occasion while waiting in the room for 45 minutes, and then getting acupuncture. They later told me another cat had peed a lot in there before she was put in. All her acupuncture needles fell out after a few minutes, total waste of $100. When I asked why she was put in that room and tried to talk about it with the the doctor, she was VERY defensive and would not offer any help. Just kept insisting it wasn't from the cat pee. I am so surprised at how rude the receptionists are. One time as the receptionist was putting us in a room, I asked for a room that had a window in it for my cat to look out the window, and she told me I couldn't have that room. I told her I had been in that room before with my cat, and she just argued about it. There is no kindness or respect for the client or for the patients. I finally had enough, I will never go back there, such a waste of time and money. There are so many other holistic vets who offer acupuncture that will treat you and you pet with the kindness you deserve. Go to Sactown Vet in Sacramento, a little farther, but well worth it! read more

I really love this Holistic Vets office. Dr Stamm has been very caring, but I'm having second thoughts. I have an 11 month old puppy who is need of a Lepto vaccine as we like to go to lakes and streams. I have called to book an appointment for the vaccine but insist it be Mercury and Thimerisol free. I didn't think this would be a problem. The advice I got was to buy it from Revival Health. I'd be happy to, I'm an R.N and could easily administer an injection but I would need to purchase 25 of them. This office carries a mercury free rabies, if you ask for it, why not ALL vaccines free of those toxins? I'm hopeful that if more pet owners are aware and request safer vaccines it will become the norm for a Holistic Vet in the near future. read more

I am absolutely blown away by the quality level of the care I received with my 4-year-old pit/lab mix today. Chance has had seizures for about 9 months now, and based on my research, I've concluded that it's epilepsy. I had been giving him CBD oil, which was helping tremendously. I was hesitant to take him to any vet in fear that I would be forced to spend thousands of dollars on MRI/CT for nothing. After Chance had his first set of cluster seizures(2 or more back to back within 24 hours), it was the worst I'd ever seen and I became very concerned. I came to the conclusion that I had to take him in. After doing my research, I found Dr. Stamm and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Stamm came up with a very logical explanation as to what could be contributing to his seizures. She recommended blood work along with holistic medicine, diet changes, fish oil supplements and some emergency medication per my request just in case he has another set of cluster seizures that need to be stopped. I am beyond confident with the recommendations and confirmations I received today and will only be taking my dogs to Dr. Stamm from now on! I am so grateful to Dr. Stamm and her wonderful staff. They always treated me and my dog with compassion and care. I feel their prices are reasonable as well. When my dog finally lost her long battle to cancer, they sent me a beautiful card when a pressed wildflower I could plant in her honor. I was beyond touched. I was running out of options with our previous vet, my 12 yr old Boston Terrier was having horrible problems with her back and could barely walk, this was in result of fall while going up stairs. My next options after a month of confinement and pain meds was a referral for MRI with spine surgery (50/50 success rate). I found Meridian Veterinary and after much partnership, knowledge, the right remedies, my dog was back to normal after 6 months with a maintenance plan. I'm so glad I did my research and found Meridian Veterinary when my options were narrowing, Angie Stamm is amazing. We are so grateful for her! read more
