This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

The room was okay--nothing special, but no major complaints. The Starbucks is always packed, which seems to be the norm here. Today, I visited the Second Street Marketplace downstairs. The young employee who assisted me had very poor customer service. He didn't acknowledge me, didn't offer a bag for the items I purchased, didn't say thank you, and seemed more interested in chatting with his coworkers than helping customers. Based on what I observed, I wasn't the only customer having issues with him. We also requested housekeeping service for our room. We were informed there would be a charge, which was fine with us. However, after the service, the room looked exactly the same. The bed was made, but that was about it. Now, let's talk about the restaurant downstairs. I ordered a steak, but they brought me chicken instead. I clearly told the waitress I wanted steak. When I pointed out the mistake, another older employee insisted that what I was served was steak. I'm pretty sure I know the difference between chicken and steak. Fortunately, Teddy stepped in, listened to my concern, apologized, and had my order corrected. That is what great customer service looks like. Even our waitress suggested that I just eat the chicken, but guests should never be told to accept something they didn't order. The casino and the room itself were good, and I enjoyed those aspects of my stay. However, many of the staff members could benefit from additional customer service training. To corporate, management, the CEO, owner, or whoever is responsible: please invest in better customer service training. Your guests deserve a better experience. #CustomerService #Management #Hospitality #GuestExperience

The Christmas trees and decor are stunning! Christmas music is playing. Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch. Archie and Tahoe are giving photo ops throughout and they are truly amazing! There are special Christmas drinks, the Tipsy Reindeer was my favorite! We tried the Mac and Cheese and it was very good. They also had a variety of other foods available at different locations in the park, including "Squirrel Bites" and a turkey leg, reminiscent of Disneyland, which we did not try. The view from the seating area is incredible, but once you are down on the field, and walking through the light display, it's magical! There is a sleigh for photos and the tallest lighted tree I've ever seen! And, every 45 minutes there is a light and music display with the tree that is incredible. This is a super family-friendly event, but it also caters to people of any age. We loved this event, and look forward to attending again next year!

As far as the games go, they're all working but the place just feels tired a bit old and rundown. They don't offer a system where they're unlimited play cards include ticket games, but do not reward tickets so the selection of games available to the kids at the party was fairly limited as a result which bothered me, but of course didn't bother the kids who were just happy to continue swiping and playing. That said they do offer some games here that are not typically included in other arcades in town like the Minecraft game which spits out super cool cards and certainly captivated the kids for quite some time. The party room was large but parsley appointed in terms of decorations and really didn't offer much in terms of seeming or decor. There's truly a DIY situation and thankfully, we came with a couple of decorations to put up to make it feel more festive. One of the pizzas included in the party arrived squished in one corner and the supervisor was quick with the solution. Unfortunately, they couldn't remake the pizza which I'm not really sure why, but instead he offered additional cards that the kids could use to play the Midway games downstairs, which ended up being a huge hit. The birthday party deal is a great value to be honest. Works out to around 25 bucks a kid minimum of 10 and it includes pizza and unlimited soda plus a two hour arcade card and $15 to use on the midway or the games with redemption prizes. We ended up adding a $100 card to our party so that we could have the kids play some additional Midway games and that really did extend the fun quite a bit. Midway games are about to six dollars per play, so it does actually go a little ways. If you're staying at Circus Circus, the XP arcade is a fun stop over but if you're from the area, I personally wouldn't say this is the one to come to. That said if you wanna play the midway, you really can't do that anywhere else and it is super fun, especially rewarding when you win a prize. We'll certainly recommend this birthday party option to friends.

The offer card specials and we opted for the $60 one to give us an additional $15 as a bonus. The game area was clean and well lit up. They have video games on the top floor and some more ticket games on the bottom floor. I feel like we lost some credits on the machines because we would swipe and it wouldn't work, but I noticed that my money was going down. There wasn't an attendant to help. We spent like an hour there using up the card. The kids racked up about 1,000 tickets on their card. They use a self serve prize machine to redeem your tickets, which is pretty cool. Overall, we had a great time.

After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

In the past they would offer a coupon so we would pay $50.00 for my husband and I to take our grandson to this event. They have now increased the price and there are no discounted rates for kids. In addition, we are a party of 3 and were told it is mandatory to purchase these tickets in increments of 4. How does that work? I am forced to purchase 4 tickets for 3 people!!! If I were a single mom with a child I would be forced to purchase 4 tickets or if I was a family of 5 I would be forced to purchase 8 tickets??? I even called and was given the same information as I tried to purchase only the 3 needed. We have been taking our grandson to this event for 10 years and sadly this is the last. Since he was already told we would be going, I was forced to pay $142.00 for 4 tickets EVEN THOUGH I ONLY NEEDED THREE. In addition, they do not allow me to print for free. Be prepared, you will need to pay to have them mailed or go to the ticket office to get them. That's some great customer service I have to say... NOT! I feel that is completely unacceptable. Because of this increase there will be no souvenirs purchased because I refuse to support this event any further. I understand inflation BUT I can't except the increments of 4 BS! Monster Jam, your just not all that!

We stayed in the Sky Tower and had a nice view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There were some bits of noise at times out in the hallways but nothing too distracting. My only issues with the room was the loud noise from the AC/Heater, very firm beds that weren't the most comfortable and a sink that makes a gurgling sound after you run water. But overall it's very convenient because you have full access to the Row. The Midway is still as fun as it was when I enjoyed going back in the 90s. The elevators are still tucked away and very hidden and every single pair of escalators we found had one side broken so you had to just wander around until you found an elevator or a working escalator. There were also random 1 way escalators scattered about which was off The actual elevators in the main lobby were a nightmare. No matter if there were a lot of people or nobody, they would take forever to come down (and I believe one was broken). There was a time in particular there were 20-30 people all waiting around for the elevator. I asked an employee where the stairs were (since I was on the second floor). It took two employees to even figure out if there were stairs, and then I had to wait around for security (who never came) in order to go up them. The room, while decently clean and modern, was missing hand soap, and the AC rattled extremely loud when the compressor would turn on. I finally figured out I could jam a pillow in between the bed and AC to keep it quiet. Throughout the stay, the front desk people were very unhelpful, either not knowing anything, or just saying "yeah I can't help, go ask the bell hop". The only saving grace was the midway, which while expensive, was a nice little break for people like us with little kids.

If the rule was enforced for everyone trying to enter the venue with the wrong size purse I would understand; however, that is not the case.
