The best family experience in Reno during spring. Lots of places to buy snacks and drinks. They offer grass seating which is great for families because it's by the kids playground. The stadium is well kept and the employees are always so kind. 105.7KOZZ gifted us these tickets and we are so so thankful we got to experience such a fun family day. Thanks 105.7KOZZ!

My family and I were invited to my sister's work family night at the Aces. We were set up at the Bill Pierce Courtesy Honda Bull Pen with catering. I loved our seats and having a table to be able to set our plates and drinks on. Most of our section was shaded from direct sunlight, so we were able to comfortably watch the game while enjoying a bite. The food was great and a huge shout out to the staff working hard to take care of us and the park. We enjoyed the game and my kids were happy they could roam freely within our section. Not the usual stadium seat and I was not complaining. It had been years since my family and I have been here, but we were happy to see the upgrades made around the park. It has come a long ways since it first opened. I realized today that we need to come more often now that my youngest can actually sit through a game. I'm glad to have the Aces stadium here and to see how our little town has grown. We had a blast! Go Aces!

And we always enjoy the fireworks!

We love coming to the Aces games as a family or for a date night! Such a great time and the staff have all been friendly even in the snack areas where it can be so busy. They have a play area where the kids can go play, Carmel apples, the usual baseball fold, and even a veggie burger option (which I'm always grateful for!). Looking forward to our next evening at the Aces!

Princess Night at the Aces Ballpark. A spectacular evening from the Princesses around the concourse for pictures to the first night of Friday Fireworks. Great seats in section 111, too. A strong offense game with the Aces winning. Numerous home runs and crowd engagement with Princess themed activities. Even the scoreboard displayed balls as Cinderella slippers, strikes were Crowns, and outs were Castles. Fireworks were spectacular! Great way to start the Friday night tradition. I was however, surprised that there were so many empty seats for the night and not pleased that the store sold out of Disney Princess Shirts within 10 minutes of opening. The shirts had been advertised in the numerous emails I received building up to the event. Back orders were offered, but my 2 young fans were not pleased with that idea. Again, based on the advertising blitz that occurred, I thought with such a big event as Princess night, the store would have been well stocked, as many parents left with unhappy princess toddlers and older children.

I attended a work team-building event at Aces Baseball Stadium, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The seating was shaded, which was a total lifesaver given the 95-degree heat. The stadium was pretty clean, and there was plenty of fun entertainment between innings--mostly small competitions for kids to come down on the field and win prizes, which added a nice family-friendly vibe. Now, about the food: the staff worked quickly to handle the large crowds, but they weren't the friendliest. Several of our items we watched them throw in the microwave just before being served. The chicken strips were extremely dry--I wouldn't recommend them. The hot dog was your typical ballpark fare, nothing special. The standout for me was the pulled pork nachos; they had a decent flavor and came in a fun plastic baseball helmet, with a generous portion size. We finished off the game with ice cream sundaes, which were a good size and a nice way to cool down. Overall, this is a fun place to bring your family for a game. Next time, I'd probably eat beforehand.

PLAY BALL. Some improvements have been made for fans that attend the Reno Aces games. Some new menu items have been added to their varied food selections: Taco Tuesday with special pricing on tacos, a smaller box of freshly popped popcorn and other goodies. You are allowed to bring one bottle of water and I see many people bringing In small snacks, e.g., peanuts, candy, and other goodies. Great family entertainment. Parking is still problematic especially on weekends (Fri-Sat ). Fireworks on certain Fridays and holidays. There is a small play area for the younguns behind the outfield. No cash is accepted throughout the ball park- credit cards only. See you at the game.

Good place to spend on Father's Day!

Came here for Father's Day. We had a wonderful Father's Day Brunch before coming here, so no complaints about the food today. The game was entertaining, great time!!

Went to a Thursday game. Great family friendly fun with some added benefits. Dog day with Lambo the bat dog; $2 Beer; throw back Thursday with Silver Socks. The play ground is fantastic and has an excellent water fountain, was cold and tasty.

This was my first time there. I took my grandsons who are the baseball fan. Me? I go for the popcorn, but this field is intimate with a friendly supportive staff. From the moment we walked thru security (efficient and professional), to the greetings from mascots and staff, it was a great time. I really did enjoy the game, maybe because we were so close and there was so much fan support. It is a unique sport experience. We are definitely going to be attending more Ace's games. Oh, and they beat Salt Lake. Go Aces!

Watching the Reno Aces at Nevada Field is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a great way to spend a spring or summer evening. Even though they're an AAA team, they're always entertaining, and it's exciting to see players get promoted to the majors. You never know what will happen--we've seen several games where it looked like they would lose, only for them to win at the last minute. We always arrive early to find parking. Several lots are around, or you can find free parking if you don't mind a short walk. Access is easy, but bring a see-through bag to breeze through security. Our seats were behind the dugout, giving us a great view of the game. My advice: on hot summer days, try to sit on the shady side or wear sunscreen. We went on a Friday night to catch the fireworks. We ordered hot dogs early in the evening when they were fresh, having learned from a previous visit that late-game hot dogs tend to be dried out. They have mustard and relish, but no onions. One of the best things about the Aces is their effort to involve kids in activities between innings. These are always amusing and keep the game lively. They also have theme nights, fireworks nights, dog days, and family days. There's something for everyone, ensuring a good time. We're already looking forward to our next game.

    Kids enjoying the game too

We had a group reservation for 50 people, with food. Day before game was rain delayed and the day of the game large thunder storms and mud slides. I reached out to Staci B and she moved our food upstairs and arranged for 3 covered suites, so even if it rained, we would be comfortable and dry. Great service, great food and we will be back.

The last game of the season and we got $1 hotdogs! Fan appreciation day so tickets were half price, what a deal! Love this stadium, there really isn't a bad seat in the house! Between home plate and third base so saw a lot of action including 2 triple home runs! A lot of happy fans today as the Aces won!! Looking forward to next season already!!

Family Fun Sunday at Aces Ball Park. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating at the Club Lounge with a spectacular view of the game. We weren't left out of the game with visits from the mascots. Spectacular ballpark food spread and a full bar gave us a luxury ballpark experience.

Star Spangled Cocktail: grenadine, vodka, lemon juice, blue curacao.

They've done a great job improving the field and making sure that kids get more game time then time chasing the ball all over with the addition of the bumpers. The first season they didn't have the bumpers in place but in the past two seasons, we've seen them, and they've proven to be a huge Improvement. The teams are manageable sizes and the kids all get a lot of time on the field. The coaches do their best to run practices and consistently teach the kids at the appropriate levels. My son is super engaged when at practice or the game. Sure, you still have to lug a lot of stuff from the parking lot to make it comfy, but it's a blast watching your kid enjoy their time playing the game.

In the few games we played them the combined score was at least 35-0...not a fun "learning environment." If they thought about it at all they would keep Rec kids at their proper age and move the comp teams up. My child likes soccer but has become quite discouraged. We will be looking elsewhere for soccer and/or different sports.

The program felt very unorganized, and the coaches (mostly teenagers) did very little to engage or motivate the kids. On three separate occasions, we showed up for soccer only to find out upon arrival that there was no class because the space had been rented out for a private event or the practice had been moved to another location. There was absolutely no communication about these changes. For the price they charge, we expected a much more professional and reliable program. Overall, it was frustrating, overpriced, and not something we would recommend.

It gives both the kids and the adults to come together for the adults to hang out and the kids to get their energy out. When the kids had a later morning class it was nice because the lunch items would be offered so we would have lunch right after soccer. However the past few seasons it's been earlier and earlier. We still make it a habit to hang out afterwards for all parties. They serve alcohol at all times while they are open where my husband and our friend bought a glass of beer to drink during one of the classes for those rough mornings! The sportsdome is a nice alternative for sports from being outside offering a big field, practice field (both turf), basketball courts which can also serve as volleyball courts or even for use for soccer sprouts a time or 2. Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking. Ladies Bathrooms are also clean. They offer ladies and men as well as family bathrooms located across from the basketball courts. I always see them being clean. All in all, the facility is pretty tidy and offer many trash cans so you can throw away your trash without having to walk far away.

Registration for the team was done online and wasn't too complicated. Before our first game we had to obtain players cards - the process was easy and only took a few moments. It was also easy to get another later in the season when I lost my original one (whoops!). You are required to give the card to the employee out of the field before the start of the game so they know that every player on the turf is registered. We played the full season and our games ranged from around 6PM to as late as 10PM. 10PM is brutal especially during winter. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. No matter their efforts the field area is still quite cold. My team and I warmed up in the bar area but a dedicated warm up space would be really nice as the bar area was quite crowded most times and made finding a place to stretch hard. We didn't have any of our games rescheduled so I appreciated that as I was worried we may face that concern. Luckily our schedule remained the same throughout the season. I will say as a new player the inconsistent refs were a challenge. One game a penalty would be called, the next nothing. One game they would add players based on the time elapsed and the score, they next they would tell us that only happens in the children's leagues. Not very helpful for those of us brand new to the game and trying to learn the rules and flow. I will say what I appreciate the most about this place is how understanding they were. I was asked to play on a team the following season and after one game realized it wasn't a smart move for my foot. I called and explained my situation and the employee was nice enough to refund my money for the season and let me off the hook of playing. That was very kind. I got a check in the mail about a week after I called and I was grateful for how easy they made it. I appreciate the customer service and it kind of out weighs the awkward parking, cold field and inconsistent refs.

At the end of the month I felt much improvement. The facilities are fantastic! In the Physical Therapy part the equipment is top notch and the staff keeps all the tables and machines sterilized after each use. The other parts of the Sportsdome looked very intriguing for use as a year-round practice facility. There was soccer practice field, a 3/4 size football field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, golf practice area, baseball facilities, plus other areas that we were unable to see. There were tables outside of the practice areas so the parents could sit and watch the children practice through large glass floor to ceiling windows. They even have a snack bar with alcohol sales for the parents to pass the time while waiting for their kids to finish. Reno really needed this kind of facility to give the youth somewhere to practice yearly. It's nice to have the rehab facility right there if a child gets injured.
