Been staying at this hotel many times. Front desk staff usually friendly and efficient. They give bottle waters and snacks. There are 2 sets of elevators. Depending on which floors your room is located, you will go to the coordinate elevator hallway. Each set, there are 5 elevators. Even though there are 5 elevators in each set, only 2 of the 5 worked. This caused long lines and wait. One time, we waited 20+ minutes just to get inside the elevator. The room itself is pretty spacious. Bed pretty comfortable, pillows were too soft, dirty carpets, bed sheets and blankets were kinda dirty. AC seemed to be working fine. Views was nothing special.

Went to Pete Davidson. The venue was a little weird for such a bigger name. Over all it was fun.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Silver Legacy Resort and Casino during my long weekend in Reno for the WGRF. There is so much to do and see that I have to say that it was a bit sensory overload. I was having second thoughts about staying there due to the desk associate who was checking me in with their mumbled speech and goth vampire piercings. Other than that, the service was good enough for the weekend. The room was nice and had an amazing view of downtown Reno and its other casinos.

Thief trying to break into cars but hotel couldn't be bothered to respond.

Not the cleanest conditions. Someone trying to break into cars I have them on video. It was a chore to deal with security. End of the day they never replied. Zero effort from security. I won't stay there again.

The worst customer service ever. Wouldn't recommend anyone to ever stay here. First off, the beds and pillows in the rooms are extremely uncomfortable. The soundproofing of the rooms is nonexistent so all you hear all night is loud cars and I was on the 22nd floor with a sound machine and still woken by vehicles multiple times. The absolute worst though is the staff of the spa. A bunch of kids that you can't say boo to without them getting worked up and calling security on you. Honestly one of the guys was getting so worked up that he was hyperventilating with a look on his face like he was about to take a swing at my 5 foot nothing wife. And he wasn't even part of the conversation! Seriously, they need to fire the entire Spa staff. Also, someone want to tell me why the spa is in charge of the pool? They're in charge of the pool and don't even know what being a certified pool operator is. Which really tracks as the pool water was grey and full of trash and other floating debris. They also changed the price on a cabana rental while we were there that also happened to be disgusting. I work in customer service as well and I wouldn't expect to keep my job if I had the work ethic of the children that work there.

Hotel is nice close to everything, only complaint I have is the beds , both the beds had dirty sheets . The sheets were stained one with pink stuff and the other one with some other nasty brown yellow stained. We only stayed here for a night and it was pretty late already so I didn't ask for new sheets. I wish housekeeping and management would actually checked the sheets.

Room: My husband and I stayed at the Silver Legacy (SL) during the long Labor Day weekend. Every time we visit Reno, we stay at the SL, it's our favorite hotel. I upgraded our room to a Player's Suite, and we were so thrilled on how big the room was, and the spacious bathroom! The room was clean and had a great view! VIP Check-in: If you are a Caesers Rewards Diamond status member (or levels above), you are allowed to check-in at the VIP desk. They provide wine or beer during check-in, one of the bonuses of VIP check-in that I love! The VIP clerks are amazing and kind. Virtual Assistant: When you check into the hotel, you will receive a text message from Ivy, SL's virtual assitant. Any time we needed anything, we only had to send a text and our request was fulfilled. We opted out of housekeeping during our stay, so I would send text messages to Ivy to request towels, coffee, etc. If we were not in our room during the delivery, these items were delivered to our room, It was great! Restaurants: Between the three resorts - Circus Circus, Silver Legacy, El Dorado - there are many great restaurants to choose from. We ate at Café Central at SL every day and tried something different each time. They even had a fabulous mimosa flight that arrived on a serving "tree". On our way back to our room on Sunday night, the last night of our stay, we really wanted gelato and stopped into SIPS COFFEE AND TEA at Silver Legacy, located in the lobby area. They close at 9:00PM and we got there at 8:54PM. They told us they already prepped the gelato for closing but we could purchase sweets from the cake case. We passed because that is not what we wanted. I'm sorry...but if a business closes at 9:00 and a customer is there prior, they should pay attention and serve the customer. Instead, these young workers were cleaning up early to end their evening. This was SUPER DISAPPOINTING! Room Service: The hotel provides a QR code that you can scan to order room service. This is such a convenient way to order food and be able to eat in your room if you didn't feel like leaving the room for the day. Entertainment: Between the three resorts, they offer so much entertainment - piano bar, performers/singers, silent disco, and lots of slot machines. The gaming was great at Silver Legacy and El Dorado. They have all the new slot machines and most of them paid really well. We will definitely be back soon!

    Definitely health hazard unclean pool

This was the WORST hotel experience of my life and I've stayed at over 100 hotels in my lifetime. I chose this hotel because it has a pool which was really the only amenity that my 4 year old could use. He loves to swim. I had booked a cabana for my family and I, as well as a massage for myself at the spa afterwards. I was told that the cabana rental was $125 from 9am-1:30pm. Turns out it was actually $150. We showed up at 9am, and were informed that the pool area was still closed because it was being "cleaned". It was a holiday weekend there had been hundreds of people in and out of the pool the day before. Since we had a view of the pool area from our room, we saw that nobody showed up to clean it and this was concerning. When they finally let us in the pool area, nobody had cleaned the actual pool and the water was murky and disgusting. It turned out that they WERE NOT actually going to clean the pool and we would have surely gotten sick if we tried to use it. Major health code violation and completely unacceptable. Since our stay was ruined for my 4 year old, I spoke to a manager named Mikayla about checking out early and wanted to cancel the rest of my stay. Mikayla did not even make eye contact with me, apologize, or stop what she was doing on her computer. She just said that the spa was in charge of the pool and that I needed to speak with them in order to cancel. Despite everything that just happened, Samantha and Kyler at the spa still wouldn't cancel my appointment without a 50% charge since we were checking out early due to their mistake. We asked to speak to the manager Terry but she wouldn't speak to us. When I said this wasn't fair because the hotel couldn't accommodate for the only amenity that I stayed there for, she had us trespassed by security off the premises. Literally just for complaining about this not being right. Please do not stay at this hotel. Please DO NOT use the pool.

    Injured foot

My husband and I stayed in your hotel April 28th 2026. I was injured by a faulty tile in room 1504. The tile fell out of the in room tub. To make a very long story short. My husband and I were celebrating that he had finished his last round of chemo after a very long and intense battle with AML. Being that he is still in recovery and we have to be careful with things like slips and falls I got out of the tub to dry everything before he did to be sure he would slip. While I was doing that a very large and heavy tile fell out of the tub and smashed my foot. I over it for a hour and it was still swelling and bruising. I decided to go down to the lobby to let them know so that no one else gets hurt. I was treated so horribly by the front desk staff. It took me over a hour to make my report I sat in your lobby for a hour waiting for a manger. The front desk manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. Even though I asked for a manager for over a hour the front desk manager Karla Lopez told me to hats she is not that kind of manager and it's not her problem. She should be ashamed of herself. His was day one of our vacation and several of our planned outings had to be canceled because I had a swollen injured foot. A hour later head of security came to talk to me. He was very nice and polite. Have me a phone number for a guest relations person. I chose to wait until I got back home to call him. Honestly I thought someone from the hotel would reach out to be but I guess they didn't feel like o was that important. I chose to call the number I was given on 5/11 a few days after returning home. I spoke to Dan in guest relations. He was also very nice and polite but unfortunately has failed to reach back out to me. I emailed him a statement which he asked for but haven't heard from him since. I also emailed a Nadine from guest relations and have not heard from her ether. Ultimately I'm appalled at this hotel resorts lake of care or compassion.

They even have additional requests section on their booking page where I requested extra things like towels. We did not receive any of those requests. Room: King, Tuscany Suite with a balcony. The room was really nothing special, as time went on we began to notice more small concerns. The first was that the ottoman at the end of our bed was stained which felt off putting. Much of the furniture and room decor was dusty. It seemed like the whole room just needed a deep clean and detail because it appeared well used. The "balcony" was just a patio space with really well loved furniture. It was also funny because our view was the worker entrance/exit so we really one saw people coming to and leaving work. Casino: This was by far the worst casino I have been too. The machines had very low RTP and rarely gave bonus games. It wasn't very well kept, drink glasses would pile up and sit. The staff seemed off putting and not very helpful. The bonuses offered weren't all that great either. Pool: The pool was decent but could use better planning. My hope would be that one of the pool decks becomes a 21+ space. Adults on vacation at a "luxury" hotel don't want to swim with kids. The hot tubs were even occupied by kids which made it unenjoyable and hard to relax. Spa: We didn't even bother with the spa because I called them prior to our stay and got sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail hoping for a call back but never received one. Overall, not worth the expensive price and we will likely not return to stay at the Peppermill.

To their credit, they arranged accommodations at another hotel, although it was not comparable to the one we had reserved. Wanting to give them another opportunity, we booked another stay this year. Unfortunately, the experience was even more disappointing. Our check-in was delayed until 5:00 p.m. because the room was not ready, despite the advertised 4:00 p.m. check-in time. Once we entered the room, we discovered the air conditioning was not functioning properly and the desk lamp was broken. We called for assistance at approximately 5:30 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m. after no one responded. Someone finally arrived around 11:00 p.m., after we had already gone to bed. The lamp was replaced, but the air conditioning was never addressed during that visit. The following morning, we discovered the bathroom floor was soaked due to a leaking toilet. Maintenance confirmed the issue, placed towels on the floor, and returned later to repair it. During that visit, they were also able to fix the air conditioning. Later that morning, we found that one of the mugs in our room had not been properly cleaned. While this would normally be a minor issue, it became part of a pattern of poor housekeeping and maintenance. When we returned to our room that evening, we found another leak--this time water was coming from the ceiling. To make matters worse, my friend discovered blood stains on her comforter that had been concealed beneath the sheet. When we reported these issues to the front desk, there appeared to be no record of our previous maintenance requests or completed service calls, which was extremely concerning. A manager later offered us a $100 dining credit. While I appreciate the acknowledgment, I do not believe it adequately reflected the extent of the problems we encountered throughout our stay. Grand Sierra positions itself as one of Reno's premier hotels, and with that reputation comes an expectation of quality, cleanliness, and responsive service. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below those expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because guests should not experience repeated maintenance failures, cleanliness issues, and communication breakdowns during what is supposed to be a relaxing stay.

They did not think to hire more staff for the busy Memorial Day weekend and the basketball/volleyball/adult softball tournaments that were going on in the area. The night before we had to leave our car halfway in the street because valet was so backed up. The guest service manager told us to leave it half away in the street. The next day the same manager blamed the desk agent for losing our key when they did the same thing in the morning when she wasn't there. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above.
