This is a very nice park, located not far from the Arroyo Center and directly across the street from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo!! Lots of tennis courts here. My daughter used to have some of her soccer games here when she was little. The large grassy area here has lots of space. The restrooms here were very clean, and parking here is easy enough. Out regular tennis courts in SL are closed due to covid which means all the other courts in SL get even more packed up on the weekends. But a quick check on Yelp led us here for a shot. We got lucky and got the last court not in use and no one else was waiting so we quickly jumped in. Courts are well maintained and very clean (wish I could say the same for the SL ones!) And the people playing were really nice and friendly , patient too because we had more than our fair share of errant balls fly over! There's a small parking lot but seemed like there was enough space to accommodate the weekend folks. We'll be back when we can't find one closer in SL. read more

I found this park today and it seemed like a gem! A little parking lot with a nice, well-kept playground. The playground surface is wood chips, it has one play structure good for a variety of ages (though probably not your smallest tots because even though there are steps with a railing to get up to the platform, the big slide would be too scary for tiny kids and it is a tube so a parent can't easily hold a little one on their lap to go down). My 7 year old was pretty excited about the play structure and the slide, though I bet that would wear off soon. There is a small slide with a ladder on the large play structure (though you can't get from there to the larger part), but that's only for kids big enough to climb a ladder. There are two baby swings and one big-kid swing (with a space for another one, but maybe it broke?). There are a couple of parts of the large play structure that only a big kid could reach and I wasn't exactly sure what they were for -- my kid could just reach the bottom one -- and a high-up bar to do pull-ups or gymnastics. Three benches face the play structure for parents, plus plentiful picnic tables nearby. The playground is not fenced in, though there is some grass between it and the street / parking area for safety. Large grassy area for throwing a frisbee or ball, and my kiddo liked running up and down the skate park ramps (skate park was empty). There are bathrooms, though I didn't check them out. Overall this was a really nice park and I'm interested to go back if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

This park is across from arroyo high and includes tennis courts everyone in the family used to come here to play tennis. this facility is pretty popular. some parking available if one comes early. . the 2 tennis courts are constantly in use. many high schools, public and private, use these facilities. there's a baseball field before and after there courts, a soccer field in back too. best to come here early to beat the crowds. parking lot small. otherwise parking is only in the neighborhood. read more

I've been coming here for many years, to play tennis. It's right across from Arroyo High School. There's also a playground there, along with a large open field of grass, and a small skate park. As for the tennis courts, they are usually packed with high schoolers after about 3pm on a weekday. So you should go pretty early if you want a court. Saturdays are not so packed. While Sundays are usually filled with older folks. There's a small area, outside of the courts, with a water fountain and a sitting area. The restrooms are not so great, but at least it's something. One stall in each; boys and girls. Rarely any paper towels, so be prepared to just grab some of the toilet paper. Other than that, I always come back to play tennis, just because it's closer, and somewhat better than the courts at Arrroyo. But if it's too packed here, then Arroyo should be your second choice. read more

My childhood right hurrr! I moved here even before they did a whole revamp on the park (playground used to be wooden)! The park is a nice asset for the surrounding area and really brings the community together. It caters to both younger and older kids without separating the playground (two sets of swings, two sets of slides, etc). There are picnic benches and bbq pits here for gatherings, and plenty of parking. They also have a skate park and two tennis courts, which is very popular amongst the teenage crowd. This is honestly one of the better parks I've been to. Not as big as Kennedy Park, but definitely has more of a "homey" feel to it. Now that I'm older, I don't come here as often, but I like to walk my dogs around the area and take my little nieces and nephews here whenever I have time, and hopefully, my future kids. read more

Has a lot of amenities and not too crowded. Love this park but the tennis courts are always packed with high school games and practices. Its best if you come super late, during school hours, or early (before 10am). Two bathrooms but they are pretty gross. There is an open field that people usually use for soccer and two small playgrounds with swings. They've really beautified this park in recent years. They've taken down the tree in front of the tennis courts and replanted with a smaller tree and tons of flowers. The old tattered tennis nets have also been fixed up/replaced. They replaced a lot of the wooden structures (benches/playground) with plastic ones. They even added benches along the walkway for people to sit and enjoy the park. There are a lot of family picnics that happen on the weekends on the benches in front of the bathroom. If you're looking to throw a bbq there, go early. Overall, favorite neighborhood park. read more

I think this is a great little skate park for San Lorenzo. The only thing I wish was different is location. I wish it was more tucked away on a side street instead of on a busy street. But that's just me knit picking. The playground is cool too. This is all located across from arroyo high school so beware of students crowding the park when school is out. read more

I use to play tennis here for Arroyos home games. The tennis courts are good enough. Some of them are not at regulation height, and the windscreens does not really help when playing on the southern courts. One thing I like about the tennis courts though are the lights! Nice place for night games since the wind doesn't really blow by around night. Lots of street parking is another plus. read more
