We got lucky enough to see goats at work.

I come to this park pretty often with my toddler, and it's always a solid experience--clean, safe, and full of friendly people (both human and canine). There's a big-kid playground and a toddler-sized one, so the little ones don't get trampled during recess-style chaos. They've got a basketball court, a dog park with separate areas for big dogs and small floofs, and even a light hiking loop that makes me feel athletic without actually sweating too much. One small heads-up: coyotes. Yup, we saw one once--looked just like Wile E. Coyote, minus the ACME gear. It totally ignored us, even with a toddler in tow, but still... if one shows up looking a little too interested, pick up your toddler and your dog, channel your inner bear, and make some noise like you're auditioning for a horror movie. But really, it's rare and the park is totally worth it. 10/10 would play, hike, and dodge wildlife again.

Brand new park for our neighborhood! It's better than I could have ever imagined! I'm so excited! This new park is dramatically bigger than the old park. Now there's even access to a trail. It's obvious that there was an excellent planning process. Everything about the park looks very high quality, like it will look great for a longtime. For instance, it got one of the nicest public bathrooms I've ever seen. Our neighborhood is so fortunate to have this beautiful community space. Thank you HARD!

This park is nicely renovated and well kept park. The park offers two bathrooms and recycle, compost, and trash bins. It is a small but big park. My only critique is the lack of parking. There are barely 4-5 parking spots in the designated parking lot and the park is on a hill in a residential area so street parking is limited. This makes it a perfect neighborhood park for the community to walk to. There is a large gated off the leash dog park for both big and small dogs separately. Plenty of sitting room for lunch in between playing. There isn't any shade so bring your sun hat. There is a trail I will have to try when I have the stroller next time. Super nice park we will be back. We came right after daycare pick up and there were only two other families. I'm sure it picks up between 545 & 615.

The remodel of the park is great. I wish they would have put the soft rubber for the play ground so the younger kids could run around comfortably. My daughter love the goats. And the loop is perfect. It's a great park for dogs there is a loop and a big dog park.

Fairmont Terrace Park is hiding in plain sight. just the sign is visible from the street. a paved road leads to the park. physical barriers prevent vehicles from entering. at the end of the road is a basketball court with no nets on the hoops. at the right is a children's playground (pic didn't work). at the far left is a big grassy field. just street parking.

The wait is over! The newly renovated park has reopened. This is a smaller park but it makes great use of the space offering 2 playgrounds, a basketball court, several picnic tables, bathrooms, a wheelchair accessible trail, and 2 enclosed dog parks. There is not much shade so bring your visor or sun umbrella. Also there are no bbq grills but there is parking . A beautiful neighborhood park perfect for families.

Little GEM place, love the view and water filler. Not much shade over all.

This is hands-down the coolest playground in the East Bay I've been to thus far. While in the area…read morefor a family BBQ, we heard about this spot from parent friends and decided it was finally time to check it out. Wow! I was honestly blown away. We brought lunch to have at the park and honestly, not much was eaten because there was just so much to do! What a toddler dreamland. There's a solitary airplane by the swings, a 'firetruck' to enter/exit, a boat to drive, slides of all kinds..a whale to climb that blows water steam out of its blowhole! I mean..the creativity! There's a quiet area that has books and chairs to read to the littles, like a "take one/leave one" small library. A section dedicated to music where littles can create sounds from a piano by using their feet to step on the keys. A bike park next-door. A pirate ship..I mean, the list goes on and on! In short, this playground is inclusive to all. The magic, wonder, uniqueness, and just imaginative play that is captured by adults and kids alike is really awesome for somewhere in the East Bay. We already can't wait to come back again. Street parking adjacent to playground can be found. This is a popular spot, so plan accordingly.

Such a sweet playground! I enjoy all the accessibility intended to allow children of all abilities…read moreto play. The lounge chairs for parents near the more exciting features are also very cool. My son plays basketball at the nearby recreation center and we walked over to the park after his session- not realizing it was Mia's Dream Come True until halfway through play. This park is epic - from the Braille to the musical/sound features, awesome fire truck and the spouting whale! We could spend hours here (or at least an hour because Mama's got a schedule). For now we'll be back most weekends after basketball practice. I'd recommend this park to all parents of small children.
