    Picnic area. One grill.

I came to this park for grandma's birthday in 2023. That's how long my review has been in drafts. My goodness.... We had plenty of space but not enough tables. The park is in a safe location. Your standard play structures for the children to play.

Now, this usually would be a 4 star park. But because I believe that this is the nicest park in San Leandro, I'm tacking on another star!!! Why is it so nice?? Because it has it all, plus it's the perfect place for lots of things!! It's located behind the San Leandro Family Aquatic Center, which adds to this area's popularity in the summer time!! Basketball court, softball field, tennis court, picnic areas, exercise stations, restrooms, swings, playground, even a skating area. Like I said, all!! But, to me this is the perfect 'walkable' park if you just want to get in an after dinner stroll, morning walk, or even a short run. This park is so clean, with lush green grass, it never gets old coming here!!!

Washington Manor Park is impressive for what it offers: tennis courts, 2 children's play area, baseball field, basketball court, concrete flat surface for skating, skateboarding, tables for random sitdown, lot of greenery that's well maintained. plenty of parking in front. maybe not enough at peak times. Family Aquatic Center is nearby. this may be the best spot for sports in San Leandro. (outside of the Marina Blvd. sports spaces). plenty of space to walk.

    Very clean and modern

Love this small neighborhood park. Enough trees for my dog to chase squirrels. A nice pathway for walkers. There's also a mini baseball field for the little leagues. The two tennis courts are often occupied. During the winter, they are used as a soccer field underneath the the bright park lights. This park is very clean and safe. Away from any public transportation. Surrounded by nice homes. Great for familiy gatherings. Parking will be an issue in the mornings as the park is filled with Tai Chi patrons.

The bathrooms are really dirty, and I've experienced some people fighting over there.

The playground gets extremely crowded, and it can be hard for little ones to navigate all the excitement. If you go earlier in the day, it's a much more relaxed experience. Overall, this is absolutely worth a visit and has quickly become one of our favorite playgrounds. It's easy to see why so many families love it.

The roundabout parking prioritizes disabled spots which is a smart and inclusive touch. There are shaded quiet areas, picnic tables for snacks or lunch, and a small free library (though it had little to no books when we visited). The bathrooms are high-tech with audio instructions and a 10-minute limit, but cleanliness was an issue as with most public spaces. Both women's restrooms had toilet seats up with pee on them, no seat covers, and people didn't seem to follow the gender signs. Overall, a great park with good intentions. Shoutout to Make-A-Wish and HARD for creating a space all kids can enjoy.
