The trail connects to the SF Bay Trail, so there's plenty of options for getting your steps in. The marina was busy as expected on the weekend but not as crowded as it gets during the spring and summer. I like that there are exercise stations along the pathway, as well as a few benches situated among the rocky shoreline. Parking and restrooms are conveniently available on site, too. The place isn't perfect, but it's one of the nicest spots in the San Leandro area.

This is a really nice park for kids. There are two playground side by side. One is for bigger kids (see photo) and the other one are for smaller kids (see photo). What adds more awesomeness is that there are gates that you can manually close in the little kids play ground to secure them inside. The luscious greenery next to the playground offers anything from soccer to volleyball or whatever your outdoor mind desires. First time here but we will definitely be coming back!!!!!
