Lots to choose from on the buffet. In addition they had an omelette station that also did fresh pancakes and fresh waffles! Lunch was about $14 and dinner about $17 but If your a member of the players club you get to play a video turtle race that gives you a coupon for money off at the coffee shop or buffet mine was $5 off the buffet. The "cheap" Asia buffets don't even serve crab legs anymore. So a $18.99 seafood buffet in the middle of Mesquite can't be legit can it!? It's legit! Mesquite actually has two Friday night buffets with crab legs but the other one had little or no beef. They had mountains of crab legs, served cold or hot. I thought the cold ones tasted better. They are thinner than what I'm use to pre-pandemic but I think that's normal size everywhere now. Just eat more it is all you can eat after all. And they had beef, prime rib and BBQ ribs. The good stuff. They also had raw oysters and oyster Rockefeller. Just keep your eyes on them they seemed like they were out for awhile but once more people took them and it got refilled it was all good. Clams, a live made to order pasta station, and more. I don't remember the dessert because I was full already. Everything was excellent and line was short. I'm not a big buffet fan but who can beat a all you can eat steak and crab legs for $21.99? There was a line but it went quick. Probably the best buffet food I've ever had. The crab legs were already cut so you don't have to work so hard to eat them. The fried shrimp were absolutely delicious with the yummy cocktail sauce. Everything else our party had including the fried chicken and potato salad, they said was really good! We have visited the restaurants at the Casa Blanca many times over the years and usually find them to be good quality and similar to what you would find at a major Las Vegas casino-hotel. The Mesa buffet here has been much better in the past however, and has clearly dropped down in the quality and amount of offerings in the weekend brunch. We arrived about 11:00AM on a Saturday morning expecting to find brunch staples like prime rib, crab legs and the usual fare found at a good weekend brunch. Sadly, Mesa Buffet's interpretation of a weekend brunch was on par only with a normal weekday breakfast found at Las Vegas venues and is clearly overpriced for what is offered. No prime rib, no crab legs, stale, dried-out eggs benedict, and many other deficiencies. There are no restrooms in the restaurant and one must leave the venue and walk through the casino to reach the nearest potty. Poor design, The waitstaff are friendly, helpful and represent Mesa as well as one would expect. I can't give more than two and a half Yelp stars for a below-average, over-priced weekend brunch, so Mesa buffet lucks out with an undeserved three stars on the Yelp scale. read more

This review is for the Seafood Night on Friday. You're saying to yourself, seafood in Mesquite? How fresh and tasty could it be? Let me tell you... you'd be wrong if you thought that. The seafood here is just as fresh as you'd get in lovely Las Vegas!!! Just a short 1.5 hour or so drive away from Las Vegas, you can find a mega deal of a seafood buffet at Mesa Buffet in Casa Blanca Casino! The best part, it is only $18.99, no player card needed! The highlights were the hot and cold snow crab legs which were cut in half, raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, crawfish, steamed clams, prime rib, live pasta station, and the lava cake. I've been to seafood buffets here in Vegas where they take their sweet time refilling the seafood. At Mesa Buffet, no such thing. They keep all the seafood stocked and piled high!!! The cold crab legs were always good. The hot crab legs were hit or miss... on one visit it was kind of bland and on another it was better than the cold ones. Then there are the fresh raw oysters. I was a little sketchy on getting them, but they're good. Fresh and delicious. I eat at least a dozen every time I'm here. The steamed clams are in a butter broth that's pretty tasty. Oyster's Rockefeller were not too bad, good amount of cheese and spinach. But it can overpower the delicate oyster. The prime rib here was cooked perfectly mid rare. My carnivorous buddy ate 3 or 4 slices of prime rib. They also had pot roast on one visit and it was super tender. I thought the meat would be tough, but I was so wrong. Tender and tasty! There is also a live pasta cooking station. I had to get some shrimp with alfredo sauce, hold the pasta. The sauce was lacking a little salt, not a big deal as salt and pepper is available on your table. One thing... the cook piled my plate with shrimp. I'm talking easily could feed 2 or 3 people. The dessert options aren't great. No ice cream or gelato like most places here in vegas, but I'm fine with that. They had a hot cherry cobbler and hot lava cake that was really good. They also have fresh and canned fruits at the salad bar. Had to get me some sweet canned mandarin oranges, takes me back to my childhood. The buffet here isn't large by any means, but it has everything you want/need from a seafood buffet. If this buffet was here in Vegas, you'd easily pay $35 - $40. Being only $18.99, you're a getting Vegas quality seafood buffet at half the price!!! We usually get here around 2pm - 3pm and there is absolutely no line. We saw the ad for an all you can eat sea food buffet in Mesquite, we're in St George, sorry, not worth the drive, very disappointing. The pile of crab legs were all dry and so tiny that I wonder if they were even legal size to catch, the oysters on the half shell were all dried out and unappetizing. I was afraid to even try one, they looked like I might get sick from it, but the peel and eat shrimp were good, it's hard to screw up shrimp. The rest of the seafood part of the buffet was just a few mayonnaise filled salads. Very disappointing. The other side of the buffet, the meat and potatoes side, was fair, the roast beast the nice lady cut for you was wonderful, even though you had to ask her three times to cut a size big enough to see over there on the edge of your plate. Mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box, brown gravy from a can, and corn soaking in warm water that was over cooked. The only reason I give this place three stars and not two, first, the roast beast was very good, and the dessert cake I had, chocolate moose, was straight from heaven. Typical buffet offerings: Runny scrambled eggs being cooked under hreat lamps, mounds of bacon, scorched potato whites (hash browns), carved ham, eggs benedict, sausage, and etc There is an omelette station where you can have an omelette prepared to order or get a Belgian waffle. The salad bar is also open for brunch, but unfortunately only has Thousand Island and Ranch dressing. Friday night is the night to eat here! Endless seafood buffet... Includes steamed crab legs that are already cracked open! Sweet! There is shrimp done so many ways, sushi, crab cakes, muscles, oysters, clams. Not a seafood fan... Don't worry they have steak & chicken too. And a salad bar for the veggie lovers! They also have a chef cooking fresh pasta. They have a huge variety of desserts and a chef that will make cherries jubilee... So yummy! I love eating here on Friday nights! So I 'm standing at the booth watching the so called chef cut open packs of steak and throw them on the grill and I kept thinking surely she is going to put seasoning on the meat. The buffet, was very small and had only a few items and their big "steak night" was not at all good. When u want steak or buffet steak you don't expect to see them pull a raw steak out of the freezer wrap then on to a make shift grill. Also their other items were not very good look and tasted like they were sitting there for awhile and when confronted about it they didn't seem to "understand" me and was like "food good, fresh" whatever that means. You've probably seen the large billboards of Casablanca in Las Vegas.. "Free pool party. Only 75 miles away." Ok well I always thought this place would be a dirty hotel that resembles a Primm hotel. It has beautiful waterfalls outside by the main entrance. Right when you walk in, you don't inhale a massive amount of cigarette smoke like you do at other hotels. Now I was also curious to look at the "free pool party" offered so I stopped by the pool. Let me tell you, there was no pool party, but it was a massive pool that is bigger than any one offered at a beach club on the strip. It was very family friendly with tons of shaded cabanas and seats as well. They said they are open to the public and I think I might just drive the 75 miles to spend the day here. Buffet: We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and it was fairly empty. Better for us because more people at a buffet means messier food at the stations. They had a variety of fresh fruit to choose from, donuts, 5 types of eggs (NOT including the fresh made omelette station), made to order waffles and pancakes, and much much more!! I'm from Vegas, so I've had my share of bad buffets. This by far is the worst! The NY strip steak literally tasted like dog food! Rice was dry, the beef was really hard to chew and was bland.
