"No show or call" Scheduled another appt."No show or call" someone came out the next day. Scheduled another appt for the garage door opener to be installed 3 days in advance, found out door opener is on back order, the only way I found out about it was I called to confirm appt. The garage door installer Mesa sent had the worse ever manners I'd expect from a business. He left without finishing his work. He refused to install a bracket on the door which is used to hook the opener to, he refused to install a lock which is a safety feature in every garage door, not only that, he threw the old lock in my face telling me this is your lock, you install it; he did not return boxes he removed from my garage shelves and left them inside my garage. Upon my complaint to Mesa about the bracket, Mesa forced him to install the bracket, in which he did, but out of rage, he installed it on the thin door plate without using a stiffening plate which prohibits rupture of the panel plate. And here is the worse, after he left, I tried to open the door by hand to check how easy it opens, and it was jammed, dead, cannot move, as if it was done intentionally by the installer out of his frustration. This is a safety issue when it comes to escape, and/or garging my cars, which I usually do. Senate Bill Number 969 states that If your car is stuck inside a garage, then you limit your escape options. The bill was introduced as a direct response to California homeowners being unable to escape their garage. For all the above refusals to install the door components, the installer did not mind installing, but he demanded extra pay. On the other hand, Mesa customer service was as bad as the installer they sent me. They responded to the first call only, and tranferred my 3 other calls to a representative who did not respond to my messages at all. Responsible companies consider every contractor working for them as the face of the company, and Mesa doesn't seem to be one. Mesa may have good online reviews, but also don't miss visiting the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to see the hundreds of complaints on their customer service, especially after falling in their trap and placing an order. Update on Saterday 7/22/23, Mesa rep called me in response to the 3 unanswered voice messages I left yesterday, offered sending a technician today to finish the unfinished works of yesterday's tech; this time I was lucky enough ti have a respectful, helpful and knowledgable tech who figured why the door was not opening, opened it, corrected the spring tensioning, installed a sturdy plate to hook the door opener (additional $165), installed my old locking latch, lubed all hinges/moving parts; advised me how to take care of the door and finally asked if there is anything else I need done before he leaves. Out of all this 2-day installation experience w Mesa, I must say Mesa have to reconsider the ethics of their technicians and fire or train the bad ones (talking about the first day tech), and also the customer services lady behind the phone, who'd better be called the customer dissatisfaction specialist. read more

Absolutely the worst! Avoid at all costs. I paid the full price upfront for a new garage door. It was not installed properly and one side does not close all the way. It has taken me 3 weeks, 4 calls to Mesa, 2 other appointments and the garage is still not fixed. Now, on my most recent call the very rude "customer service" agent told me there will be an additional charge?!? I'm pretty sure when you buy a new garage door it should close all the way to the ground. The garage door was installed few days ago and we don't even use the second car garage . But today it broke . The Mesa office is from Anaheim. They can't even send somebody right away even we told them we can't close the garage . During the visit of the salesman we requested the copy of the contract he said he will text or email to me the contract he never did. When the installer arrived he said it is not part of the job to remove the old door opener for the one car garage only the two car garage is included to remove old garage door opener and install the new one . We called Mesa Garage doors to see if they could fix the problem, a man by the name of Victor Zuniga came out to replace the garage doors because they were beyond fixing. they replaced the door with new ones, from the whole mechanism including a garage door opener. our garage doors we shot beyond repair.Mr Zunica was a good repair man, he was nice and explained what he had replaced and they took the old parts and cleaned up the mess they made. We just had a technician named Michael Lara come and fix all our issues that arose a couple days ago, First we needed the springs replaced because they were completely done and then we also needed Mr. Lara to replace the motor as well, This gentleman was BEYOND professional and honest with everything that needed to be fixed, I mean I was literally able to feel the difference from picking the door up before the repair and during the repair as well, and was able to notice that these new springs ARE in fact what was needing to be replaced and the 20 year old garage motor had to go as well, which he finished with ease!! Our garage doors and opener needed to be replaced. We also had a dummy garage door as well. Victor Castro came out and was so informative in the in-person meeting but more so on the back and forth texts that I sent with every question in the book! Not only did they beat the competitors price by $2000 but the doors are GORGEOUS! After the install Victor checked up with me on our satisfaction with the doors. I had a couple of slight scratches on the doors and Victor was there for me getting me a touch up pen for those scratches. He personally made sure I received the pen even when the request got lost in the shuffle, Victor still pursued getting me that pen. He is really there above and beyond. I highly recommend using Victor Castro with Mesa Garage doors. He really has the customer's interest at heart. My doors are the talk of the neighborhood.
